@@07foxmulder what i've heard in here finland , wheeler (few others too) was the toxic guy. you know it's hard for some leading older players to see youngster being the biggest star.
It makes me incredibly happy to see a guy who was losing interest quick in the game, find a center like Montreal that treats him like gold and where he is rewarded so highly by the fans.
So far its only been muscle memory and pure talent just wait few months and he'll be a beast 5on5 too. I'd like to see him on 1st line with Suzuki and Caufield some day
S.Loius not trying to make him a hitting power forward not trying to make him a center. Just letting him to be the pure goal scorer he has always been. Love yo see it.
Good for Laine. I’m a Rangers fan but love to see Laine enjoying hockey again. Can’t imagine anything gets the juices flowing quite like the Bell Centre at full tilt. The Habs and Laine both need this 👍🏻
Laine has also said that he is in bad shape and can't play that much, so it wouldn't be good for him to play a lot of minutes so he doesn't get injured again.
It's so nice to have something to cheer about, Ive been a Habs fan for 45 years, and we haven't had a lot to cheer about lately. It does seem like we r on the right path finally, Hutson has been really good, and Laine has scored almost every game. Caufield had a super hot start, and Suzuki as always is "mr consistent", we need more guys like that! Heineman and Evans have both been playing very well, yet they have Newhook and Dach playing the top lines. They r the 2 biggest concerns going forward (in my opinion), i thought it would be Gallagher or Armia id be worried about, but they have played relatively well. Not Dach, Dvorak, or Newhook, they need to go, the sooner the better, them with Barron, and a couple picks, we should be able to get SOMEONE decent. Anyway it's just nice to have someone who can put the puck in the net again, it's been WAY too long, Laine's shot is crazy fast! I wish we'd use Xhekaj's slapshot on the powerplay too, he has a 115 mph slapshot, and it's fairly accurate, but they never use it, he takes more wrist shots then Slap shots, they should be telling him to use that slap shot more. If nothing else, when a defender goes down to block a shot, oblige him! lol, Send a 115 mph slapper into the side of his leg! lol. Go Habs Go!!! Why is Pez benched the whole season? So we can have room for Dach, Newhook and Dvorak? I know they want to trade maybe all three i just mentioned, and they r hoping they play well, so we get more, but when do u say ok they arent going to play better? lol.
Too true. I'm happy for both Laine and Montreal, they're a perfect compliment to each other, and him being able to play again makes their games a lot more exciting. Next year with Demisov coming in too? Oh boy, the Habs will definitely become must watch hockey to see what happens 👍
As an oiler fan, theres really no franchise that I hope does well, except montreal. Legendary Montreal Canadiens, most cups, first nhl superstar the "Rocket", Multiple Dynasties, The last canadian cup winners. Hope this is the start of something good.😊
This video has reiterated my stance on 'what rebuild?' in Montreal. The last 35 goal scorer was Patches. The last 40 goal scorer was Vinny. The only real star power on this team since Lafleur are goalies, Roy and Price.
Don't know how his knee actually is, so him just standing there an letting it rip might just be the beginning. We'll see. Right now, he's making a difference.
It's kinda incredible what new team can offer to just blast player to shine again. And the next Finnish player... just watch Kaapo Kakko. NYR was never his home.
Lets not forget dude is only 26 still on his prime so he can become 40 goal scorer again maybe more coming seasons. He is on new team and haven't played for long time. 5on5 goals will come and he actually have had good shots but no goal yet. He is on his best when the team lets him be on his preferred pp spot and he has shown why so i think he is gonna be okay
Stick the poor guy with 2 of the worst players on the team. He still doesnt seem to be skating like normal yet, hopefully that part of his game comes soon, then we will have the total package!!! He has been killin it tho, that shot!!! Love it!
Seeing the Highlight of yesterday it's crazy to see how Dach put himself in danger so often.... we need a real good number 2 soon. I hope Demidov will be as good as the hype let us believe he is it could be a deadly duo.
@kodiakplayerno5 it's like huges won't admit that newhook and dach suck he does everything to help them instead of saying they suck cole had 2 go to 2nd line for awhile then they fuck over sfav on 1st lbe so newhook can look good ugh
Provided the important guys can stay healthy for once, I don’t think the Habs will be picking anywhere near 5th overall. Primeau is dogshit and they need to find a solution there, but otherwise, this is a team I could see playing .550, maybe even .575 (points percentage) hockey for the rest of the year. That would put them in the 83-86 points range, which would probably place them 9th-11th in the east and 20th-23rd in the league. With the arrival of Demidov next year and a little more experience on the backend (in addition to an acquisition on D, whether it be via trade or FA) I can see this team fighting for a wildcard spot next season.
One of two things is going to happen: 1.) laine’s goal production inevitably dips as the season progresses and habs fans turn on him. 2.) laine scores a lot of goals this season, habs management signs him to a ridiculous contract and he ends up falling off becoming the player we all know he is (in turn, habs fans turn on him). Either way, the bellend centre will be loaded with boos.
Look I'm glad for Laine, but this is getting blown out of proportion. He got the hat-trick scoring only on the pp, and against a team that hadn't won in 10 games, now 11. Simmer down a bit a let this develop properly.
Im just glad you are back Johnny, same as Hattrik Laine 🔥
As a jets fan, man this makes me happy

Makes me wonder what could have been if the locker room wasn't such a mess.
@@aniynWasn’t laine being a bad teammate and quitting on the jets a contributing factor to the locker room being a mess?

Quel tir précis et décoché avec une telle vélocité! C'est plaisant à voir.

Maybe Laine is just getting back in to game shape slowly... power play scoring is fine, soon 5 on 5 lol when the coaches give the green light😛
what happened to ending the video with "you're awesome" ?
Laine hasnt been able to train well so he is probably bit out of shape atm. I hope he can get back to speed by playing the season.

Suzuki scored 33 last year
After 1 year away with injuries and mental health issues the 5 on 5 takes 6-12 months take back to best level. So calm down with the 5 on 5 comments.
post more abt panthers pls

It's because he has a French name.

The guy just came from a big knee injury and almost didn’t play last year why are you talking so negative about it ?
You're no fun.
Yep, but he is 4th on team in goals
If the Habs didn't score on two 5 on 3 PowerPlays, that would get me concerned.
He got a hat trick against the worst team in the league. Big deal. Let's see him do it against the best, then talk about it.
Mtl Canadiens used to lose agaisnt bad teams and win against good teams.
For the past 12 years.
I'll take this one.
Or he'll talk about it whenever the fuck he wants... this does happen to be his channel
