Old Cabinet MAKEOVER with Brass Inlay ASMR

- I got this old but sturdy cabinet/chest off facebook marketplace for $25NZD. It needed to be refinished with a modern makeover to give it a few more trips around the sun, just what I love! I gave it a complete sand, some paint & stain, and then some modified/new hardware. It also got a couple of brass strip inlays on the cabinet doors to complete the look. I quite like the vibe of navy and brass together so that's what I decided to go for with this makeover.
I would be interested to know what you think, I am not too sure I am loving the handles and think perhaps solid brass would have been a better suit to go with the brass inlay.

I like the pulls. Solid brass would also look nice, but I think the ones you found look wonderful. Everything is well balanced. The navy and wood cobmo is stunning.

I don't like the colour blue but that looks like petrol blue which I do like (it has a hint of green in it). The brass in the doors finishes it off just nicely. I have never considered two tone and have always painted the whole piece in the same colour but it looks great. Lovely project and finished outcome.
