I would like to purchase [2] 7 foot Essex Square Obelisks with this coupon code. I have a tiny vegetable garden and thinking vertical gardening. One for pole green beans and one for climbing cucumbers. They are pricey but I want something that will have many years of use. I have seen them in your garden and wondering your thoughts on them?

I'm at 14:19 and I want to thank you for keeping your conversation in the video. Ever since someone complained about the video length, asking if it can be shortened, it seems the discussions and banter have been cut out. And since squeaky wheel gets the grease, I want you to know I'm here for that as much as I'm here for the flowers and gardening. Love you both. God Bless

So very true. There is no way I could do all of this gardening but I so very much love to watch and still learn. My little area that I can do has improved from what it was . And to think of all the young gardeners that are being influenced by this truly wonderful family makes my heart sing. They are teaching so much more than just gardening.

As someone who often flies from London, England to the U.S.A I find the best way of minimising jet lag is to take a midday outward flight and stay awake for the whole journey, eating dinner when you arrive in the U.S. and then going straight to bed on U.S. time. On the homeward journey I take an evening flight (from the U.S.) and go to sleep for the journey arriving back in London early in the morning. For me “fresh as a daisy”.

I recently discovered Baden Baden Germany. This is a resort town centered around 100 year old gardens, and natural Hot Springs. There is a river walkway that has bridges that cross over an old Roman canal into largest estates gardens which have been in place for over 100 years and it is amazing to tour these gardens and it is free. Every garden along the way is different and it is just a half mile walk from the center of town which includes tons of amazing restaurants and cafés and bakeries and lots of boutique shopping. And the hot springs are amazing. They are housed within a amazing therapeutic pool with Jets of various intensities.

There's also an ice cream place that's famous called Prince Pucklers that has a yummy sweet shop nearby called Sweet Life and a pizza place right next to that called Hey Neighbor! My favourite part of my city is the garden center called Down to Earth. It's beautiful and actually the company that creates a pretty well known fertilizer. She also had the option for quiet time. She has a “safe” shelf of books and quiet toys she can play with during that time. She is also in a queen sized floor bed already so she has freedom to get in and out of bed, but she cannot come out of her room.

Note to Laura: Fungus gnats can be irraticated with Neem cake, and I mean completely. No mosquito bits or anything else works. I ordered Neem cake (naked neem) online. Put 1 gallon water in jug, add 3 1/2 heaping tsp to jug. Shake. Let sit for 2 hrs. Can use then. Can't use leftover mix, because smells. I propagated 85 plants this winter with this mix. NOT one gnat at all, when I used it as a water medium for propagation. Last year I had them hopping out of the containers and walking across the table, going up my nose, and just completely out of control. Please try this.

Lol, Aaron…”Oregon is a huge state.” Lol I’m from Texas…we have 8 grow zones in our state. 6b, 7a, 7b, 8a, 8b, 9a, 9b, 10a…we are very spread out and run the gambit of “what is available.” I always encourage family and friends who travel (in state or out) to go into garden centers and explore. They bring back varieties that are gorgeous but just cannot take the heat, humidity (etc) in our area. Such a conundrum when buying anything. I laughed out loud when he said that about Oregon. Thanks, love, love, LOVE your channel! Saw a person wearing a T-shirt with Garden Answer on it and chatted with her for a bit. One of our favorite places is Gold Beach (Oregon Coast) taking a ride up the Rouge River on the Jet boats, stopping in Agnus for lunch, last time we went we took our 5 grandkids and they had a blast.. There is also a botanical garden you can tour plus, a bit up the road is a prehistoric garden, complete with dinosaurs that is the most fun, even for us old folks😉If you live in Northern California or Oregon I highly recommend checking it out, it's a great extended weekend getaway💕

Laura, a good tip for keeping fungus nats at bay is a carnivorous Sundew plant. I keep 2 inch pots here and there around my seed trays and it works, totally natural.
I also wanted to add, if you and your family go to the coast, stop in Lebanon and take a ride on the Santiam Excursion train! They have a steam engine they take out every now and then and it is so fun. Then on the way to the coast, stop by Garland Nursery on Hwy 20 between Albany and Corvallis. It is my favorite and has such a good feeling while walking around.

What do you do with them when you're not growing seedlings? And what if you get lucky and you don't have fungus gnats? I started seeds three years running without any issue and only got gnats last year.

@@Ibis333 I have them out in my pond as soon as the temps reach 40f. I have a good little collection of carnivores, who don't actually need to eat bugs, but if they are out in the open, they will attract them. I keep a sundew by my window sill for fruit flies in summer. Works like a charm!

It was interesting to me to hear you experience Migraine attacks during travel. I have had Chronic Intractable Daily Migraine Disease for 7 years every day and hard to treat. About 5 years ago when I was very sick I started watching your videos. On days when I struggled to get out of bed I would turn on one of your videos and it gave me the strength to pull myself out of bed and get outside. Gardening is now my passion and saving grace. I even started a small flower seed Etsy shop last year! I am still sick every day, but I always have something to look forward too regarding gardening. I’m even working towards selling Tulip and Ranunculus blooms in the spring. Thank you! Much Love! 🌱🌸💗

Not that you can TELL Gardeners what to do but please let them know that the best "deal" would be a "Free Shipping on Orders Over $99" (or less) as this "Free Shipping on Orders Over $149" is a normal thing for them - so literally no true incentive. I'm disappointed in them.
