It was a real honor to see that you featured my garden today, Laura. Thank you! John from Michigan P.S. Neat that you picked up on the lighter mulch used on the shade paths vs darker in the full sun gardens. Very few people notice that detail. 😊
Good evening from Latvia. As It is snowing again, 16 inches of snow and -14F outside, it is nice to sit down and enjoy this time with Laura and all your beautiful gardens. Thanks for sharing everyone, it is such inspiration for me, can not wait for spring!!
I love these videos on Saturday mornings! When you said, "And that's it for today's gardens," I said, noooooo, I want to see more! So much inspiration and ideas.
I needed this. Another 4" of snow yesterday, grey and overcast skies. So depressing living vicariously through these gardens. Feeling hopeful this is our last snowfall.
I’m always impressed by Laura’s recognition of all the growing things in every zone - though not surprised. All these gardens are so beautiful and much appreciated to look at. Spring fever inducing inspirations! 🥰💚💚💚
I 100% agree with you Laura about the beauty of Lily of the Valley. It was my grandmother favorite and I love her and the flowers so much that I have them (the flowers) tattooed on my arm in memory of my grandmother.
It was my Mom's favorite too and I'm lucky to have it in my garden; I bring a bouquet to her grave on Mother's Day now. I can't look at it (anywhere) without thinking of her!
Wow - everyone's gardens look great! I'm partial to historic homes and just fell in love with the Ohio home and garden! Also loved the lush shade pathway in Michigan! Wow, wow, wow! Kudos to all!
Wow John from Michigan (I am in Michigan to!) the most beautiful garden!! Love the historic home to!! How I wish I had talent for such beautiful gardens!!!🌸🌸
I had beautiful gardens also. I lost my husband to cancer in 2018 , it is now 2023. and I have so many beautiful memories of us working together in our gardens What we did together makes me cry . I am so lonely without him. WHat a beautiful kind human being my husband was. It was do easy to love him. Everybody who met him instAntly liked him. HE had a personality that stood out. Always thinking about other people. HE had one of the most beautiful faces I have ever seen . So easy to look at him. I miss his face. I do not know if there is an after life but I have to promise him that I will do better keeping them beautiful. After I lost him I let things go because I was crying all the time . I must bring them back to the way they were before I lost him. I love you Brian. Please come back to see me and our gardens.
Good Morning Garden Answer friends! I love all of these gardens & landscapes as well. As a 5b Michigander myself, the light pathway with dark mulch in shady area & then opposite dark pathway with lighter mulch in sunny locations, is a wonderful & genius idea! I totally agreed with Laura on all, but the Chicago "Fruit" house roof style I LOVED too, a take of a Pagoda style. Sooo many beautiful sanctuaries & different ideas..Thank you all for sharing with us, then Laura & Aaron passing onto us. We still have snow, but sun has been peeking out more & more everyday. I can't wait for nicer weather & spring to come along.
Good Morning from Maui, Hawaii Zone 12. I Absolutely Love the format you have of regular weekday videos, Saturday Garden Appreciation videos and Sunday Highlights. Something new everyday. I woke up at 5 and turned on my phone. Nothing from you on Facebook, then I realized it was Saturday and went to RUclips and found this. What a Wonderful Saturday Treat. Thanks to the Gardeners who submitted their garden pictures, and especially to you Laura for your analysis of each garden. You seemed particularly on point today in your Appreciation of each garden. Mahalo and Aloha. 🏝💐🌷🪴🌳😍💝
While I watch all of your videos, I cannot tell you how much I have enjoyed this series. Many thanks to you and your subscribers who have generously shared pictures of their gardens. I am all fired up and ready to work in our garden now. Even though we are getting snow in our zone 7 tomorrow....
You have made my Saturday so much better (I’m sure I’m not the only one)! 😉 It is so nice to be able to leisurely enjoy a cup of coffee and some beautiful gardens on a Saturday morning. Thank you guys for taking your time to continue to publish these videos for us. Such nice inspiration while most of us are having “winter weather” during March! 🥶 ❄️ 🌸
So incredibly fun & rewarding seeing yourself on your favorite garden channel!! 21:55 If you read this Laura, my basket was one of those plastic 12" diameter but 18" tall with the planting holes down the sides. I had about 8 coleus cuttings and 4 petunia seedlings. I was proud because I took the cuttings and started the seeds from saved plants the prior year. Nothing like a "free" basket, the trick is to pinch pinch pinch!!
Hey Laura and Aaron! So happy I made the cut! Sent in a couple videos but I probably didn’t edit it properly. Thanks again for sharing our fruit cage because we love it!!!
Good morning! Love this series! I’m wracking my brain to figure out what to do with all the space i now have & these are so helpful! Thank you all for sharing and thank you Aaron & Laura for keeping it going! I appreciate these so much! 🙏🏼😊♥️
Thanks Laura. It’s uplifting and inspiring to see everyone’s wonderful yards. So many ideas I’ve got my notebook and pen in hand as well as stopping the video and taking pics to reference later on. Hurry up spring!
Laura and Aaron if you ever put string lights in your garden you would have them everywhere!!! We installed them after seeing them everywhere daring covid and I would never be without them!! Please try them because I can't wait to see you alls space at night!! You Christmas lights should have inspired you! So come on man! Lol LOVE everything you teach me! THANKS!!!
There was more analysis of each garden this week. I think that is helpful to people who are unsure of how to design their spaces. For example, in the garden with the head planters, the head planters are an example of repetition of an element. Rhythm and repetition are basic garden design concepts. I look forward to more of this. Thank you.
After a little bit of gardening and fresh air, coming in and take a break with some tea and your beautiful gardens. Thank you all for the wonderful inspiration. Time to plant the gardenrooms
Another video over before I knew it! I so enjoy seeing what every one does with their space. It is relaxing and inspirational. Here in zone 7a things are waking up, slowly....., and to be reminded of what is to come is a wonderful gift! Thank you Laura and Aaron! Thank you to all of the gardeners for sharing.
To Sven in south Germany. I LOVE your garden. I am trying to create an all white/moon garden in a somewhat relaxed cottage style. I've come back to this video several times in the past two weeks to get inspiration as I purchase plants. Thank You Sven for providing Laura the photos and Thank You Laura for including them in your Beautiful Gardens Episode.
Laura, the first set of pictures you showed - did you notice in picture #2 that the gardener planted 4 trees close together to make a "canopy pergola"? Also in the 3rd picture on the upper right there was a beautiful lacy metal hanging lantern?? All the gardens offer soooo many ideas. Thanks
I am loving this series! It's a great way to start my Saturday. So many beautiful gardens and wonderful ideas to incorporate in my own garden. At the end of each video when you say " All right guys that's it" My heart drops because I don't want it end. I always find myself wanting more. Great job Laura!
Aaron, I think you should just give her 20 minutes worth of photos of my garden. I would love to see Laura struggle to find the silver lining in that mess. 😁 These gardens were, yet again, AMAZING.
I absolutely love these videos. He very different styles and plants encourage me to think outside the box. I’m a zone 9b and although some of these plants won’t thrive in our heat, I gather color combinations and idea from these beautiful spaces. Thank you to all of the GA family.
So inspirational to see everyone’s gardens . My garden is almost a blank canvas , looking forward to making more progress this year . Thank you for lots of ideas . Love from UK
This series is seriously addicting. What people have created is amazing. I used to do so much better, but at 78 just can't accomplish more than the basics. So I admire others!
HELLO FROM TEXAS - Yep.....just grand as usual....look forward to this every Saturday. The people who send in their creative work... I'm always in awe at the different styles of gardening that is gifted to us. Truly, the Lord gives to us amazing bounty all around the world. Be safe everyone. Thank you all.
Regarding lily of the valley - I have it in two spots, and it tends to spread in the wetter and darker spot but has stayed put in the hot dry full sun spot. I pull any extra shoots in the spring.
Such a great video of all these beautiful gardens! We are covered in snow right now here in upstate NY! Can’t wait to get outside and do some gardening 👩🌾!
This is a wonderful addition to your highlights channel. So thankful to watch your garden answer channel Monday thru Friday and the highlights on the weekend. Thank you all!

I really look forward to these - the gardens are so lovingly maintained and the settings are idyllic. 💚💚 And so much variety of styles!! Stand out favs for me: the Fruit cage, metal raised beds, the 1800’s house (I’m a fan of historic architecture), the winding forest garden, the small spaces with lovely containers… Okay, well just everything! 😂 Thank you all for sharing your spaces with us, and a huge thank you to Team GA (this means you Ken for editing 💖)!!!
Especially loving the moon garden🥰! Really enjoying this series, it’s still so cold here! Yes there is a rose (it’s a City of York rose and smells lemony to me)!! climbing up the decorated pergolas, (with the Christmas tree), Thanks for all videos… everyone’s gardens are inspirational, well done all! 👏👏👏😍

The Lily of the Valley is a beautiful ground cover here for me in north Iowa. I love to move it around because I have such dry shade and bad rocky soil on the hill side where I have it, but some areas are rich moist soil but it does dry out because of all the tree canopy. I think it won’t spread so much in your dry climate. You can always try it and move the plants where you don’t like it. It sure smells good in the spring too.
Hi Laura, please don't stop saying "hey guys, how's it going". It's my favorite part of every show. If I miss it, I always restart the video because it cheers me up to hear you say it. Gosh yeah Lily of the Valley in Cotswolds, invasive. Planted 1 plant some q5 years ago next to the bins. Next to this was weed fabric and gravel. It grew all the way along underneath the fabric and pierced its way through up to and around 2m away. (My mums like, but it's pretty, and me being Hardscape Happy... "nooooo")
It was a real honor to see that you featured my garden today, Laura. Thank you! John from Michigan P.S. Neat that you picked up on the lighter mulch used on the shade paths vs darker in the full sun gardens. Very few people notice that detail. 😊

Big box store sales and the discounted corner for plants that need extra TLC, also cuttings from friends’ plants have been my saving grace!!
John’s garden in Michigan was my favorite of this bunch! But everyone has done a beautiful job
So glad you enjoyed! It was so fun to see it shown here 😊
