Oh my gosh!! My garden was featured! 😊. I have been an avid morning watcher of Garden Answer and it was such a fun surprise to see my Garden featured today. Thanks Laura, Aaron and team for adding me on your show today. ❤. Now off I go to the garden center for work 😊
@@alexG98698hi Alex, yes I did. And worked to create something that was consistent with the style of our home here in Saint Paul, MN. It has been so fun to change out with the seasons. In the fall I add more warm plantings and add mini pumpkins as we get numerous trick or treaters :)
Wow...who would've thought we'd be meandering through so many beautiful garden spaces this morning? Gotta love being outdoors, each space has a different twist on how to present our gardens, yet a common theme of creative beauty bringing all of us close to nature!! 👍👏🌱❤️🌼
Traditionally gardens were meant to separate man from nature, to show his dominance over it. Think rigid structure and formality often including Christian motives, paths shaped like crosses and what have you, over the wild ramblings of nature. Even with the flowering plants here, in the wild no plant would want that much competition for pollinators. I'm a plant collector not a gardener so am bi-partisan.
So happy to have a Saturday video and loving the shade gardens as we are getting ready to move to a 2 acre property with lots of shade and plenty of sun for my vegetable gardens! So much inspiration. I will be watching this video over and over again this winter as I plan out my new shade gardens.
💚 I love the “Beautiful Gardens” series and Laura’s commentary. I typically rewatch several times to gleam all the details and gather up inspiration. Cudos to those of you who are featured for sharing your glorious spaces. We all know behind every beautiful garden, hours and hours of work were involved! 🌿
Ahhhh, at about the 8 minute mark- the Wisconsin play house & garden gave me so much nostalgia. When I was 4 years old my father built me a playhouse very similar to this one. I spent so much time in it & was incredibly sad when we had to move & leave it behind. Playhouses are such a great way to include children in outdoor spaces. All of the gardens in this episode are stunning & I am such awe of all of your talent. Thank you for sharing your beautiful spaces with us & thank you, Laura, for your beautiful commentary. What a peaceful way to start my Saturday. ❤🌳🌲🏡
I was so glad to have a video this morning. There is nothing better than your planting videos but I do enjoy very much looking at all of these beautiful gardens. Thank you everyone for sharing.
13:30 I just love the snail hanging brackets on the fence! You don’t notice at first that it’s a snail but then that whimsy peeps through! Such a fun, happy video for a summer Saturday!
Glorious inspiration from some magnificent gardens. When I think about the amount of work that must have gone into these spaces, I’m in awe! Well done fellow gardeners! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
What a fun surprise this morning. Wow, so many beautiful gardens. Great inspiration. The walled Garden at around 18:50 felt like we were somewhere in Italy. Thanks for doing this. Look forward to more Saturday surprises!
So much inspiration! Thank you to everyone who shared their beautiful spaces! I am equally "green" with envy and full of hope for my gardening journey.
We in Oklahoma are having a cool front it’s only been around 90 instead of a hundred and kill me. It’s a glorious cool morning, in these past 2 days I’ve gotten lots done. This early morning I have my coffee doors open listening to birds watching my show (lol) then gardening time. Hope all y’all have a beautiful day enjoy your hard work and reap your rewards. Happy planting 🫑🌶🥒🥬🥕🌽🥦🫐💐🌞🌾
I love these garden tours! It truly adds a little reprieve from the heat! 🌸 Update: I treated the Sedium with chelated iron and it is turning back green again and putting on new growth!
Happy to see you resume the Beautiful Gardens subject. You're correct that we need it at this stage of the season. Minute 2:48 looks like a rain barrel on the right of the shed. It's a different style and beautiful. Minute 12:27 with the wood walkways is terrific. I'm hoping you bring back your wood walkways. Minute 15:42 garden is WOW, very impactful and amazing! That garden is a piece of art. All the submissions are very inspiring. Thank you for presenting these. I'm wondering if you might consider having viewers send a photo of their garden "fail". Since I just experienced my annual one this season, I thought it might be great learning "what NOT to do".
These are some very inspirational gardens and the creativity, beauty and art is making me feel like I need to get out and create! I love these videos. I will never tire of them. Thanks, Laura and Aaron for another great video.
YES. That is EXACTLY the way to view these gardens. Rather than say, "OH, they're rich I could never be able to do all that", instead look at what inspiration you CAN take from them and apply it to your particular situation.
It is just so interesting to see the principles we've learned here on GardenAnswer applied to so many different locations and price ranges. You guys are just fantastic. Great inspiration here.
I so can’t wait to submit before and after photos to you! We are still very much in the beginning process, but I already can’t believe how far we’ve come. You’re such an inspiration, as are these beautiful gardens episodes! 💜🙌👏
What a great surprise to find this video on a Saturday morning! Always love this series of “beautiful gardens”! So nice to have inspiring ideas any time of the year!! 🇨🇦
I loved it!! I don’t want you to ever stop this series! Who knows, maybe I’ll be able to submit some photos at some point! Thank you to everyone who has! BEAUTIFUL!! 😊♥️
The title to this video is so appropriate! Thank you for putting this video together, Garden Answer and thank you to the viewers who submitted their photos. They are stunning!
Hostas as such a beautiful addition to gardens. I learned from you that the light the leaves the more sun they tolerate. So I purposely looked at my local box store for one.
Sitting in my backyard soaking up the inspiration. While I have a lot of work to do to be able to submit my own photos, this video made me realize how far I’ve come! This may be a good day for some “interim” photos. Thank you for the motivation 😊
I missed missed missed these videos!!! I hope you make more Laura. These gardens ar whist beautiful. That first one where it shows the before in 1975 just touched my heart. The story was just beautiful.
I wanted to say to Sherry and Gary in Wisconsin, your gardens remind me of Butchart Gardens near Victoria British Columbia. And in case you’ve never seen that, it’s definitely a compliment. Thanks Laura and Erin for this extra bonus today! What a nice surprise! 💚💚💚👍🙏
Todays review hit all the right feels for me! Maybe it was the stories that went with them? Whatever it was that was inspiring. Thank you for bringing those beautiful spaces to us!
I'm with you on the stories. The background. It gives the spaces the "True Home" feel. I was drawn to the first one SO much. Young family. Old place. Turning disaster into success.
I love, love it when you share these exquisite gardens with us!! So glad you intend to continue to do so. We've lived in our house for 49 years and it's changed a lot, but it seems like nothing when l look at these beautiful gardens. Thank you for sharing with us.
I finished my early morning two hours in the garden and did a quick check on my computer and TA DA !!!! BONUS video !!!! Thank you because this gives us future ideas ♥
Fabulous and such a nice surprise! Thank you for taking the time to sort, gather and piece these videos together. It great that it seems never ending. Fabulous inspiration.
Love this series! I'm unable to garden now due to mobility issues and I love soaking in all these beautiful spaces. It feeds my soul ❤ Thank you Garden Answer for all your content. Your videos are the ones I try to watch first thing in the morning. Keep up the good work!
Love this so much! Watching from my TN porch with my morning mug of herbal tea & its almost chilly outside this morning....unbelievable & a nice break from humidity 😊 I ❤ GA!!!
Thank you Laura and Aaron. Stunning. Do you think the raised hexagonal fountain in the second to last video would look great in your old brick patio area? (Just before the Hartley). I loved the up-lighting and the fact that the fountain is raised from the ground. Whatever you do at your home is always uplifting. Just love to watch your videos guys. Heaven on earth. xx
What a Wonderful Surprise on a Saturday morning at 5:30 am in Maui, Hawaii. I had completely forgotten about the Garden pictures submissions. I absolutely loved all ten of them, so different but yet all so Beautiful. Just a Great way to wake up. It gave me a lot of Inspiration but since I live in Hawaii I think I'll hit the beach, later today I'll do something in my Garden. Mahalo and Aloha. 👏🌷🌼⚘🌲🪴🌳🤩💖
I love the shot of the garden that has the “bird girl” statue in it. One of my garden goals is to have a full size one in my own garden. I am saving my pennies ❤. What a special touch!!
That statue automatically takes me into the memory of the song Sky Lark being sung by KD Lang as an intro to one of my favorite movies. Set in Savana Georgia.
@@laraemitchell9064 exactly!!! Me too!!! I have been to visit Savannah GA 3 times over the years!!! Midnight in the garden of good and evil is one of my all time favorite movies too!! 🙂
Bonus video AND my fellow Garden Answer Crew Members are knocking my socks off! Great job everyone - we should have an annual GAC open house so we can tour the country/continent/world and share ideas (or in my case, shamelessly copycat) 🍹
❤ these videos. Made me think how i need to tie up one of my new trees/seedlings and would love a video tutorial on different ways to stake trees. Thank you for all the great work!
A golden stone courtyard! Heavenly! Thank you Laura for bringing us inspiration from your own garden and others. My husband says we can have an overhead water shower down the row of raspberries in the main garden! I think it will sound nice especially with the creek in the background. And the push i need for a solar fountain in my garden trough. Very encouraged!
Oh my gosh!! My garden was featured! 😊. I have been an avid morning watcher of Garden Answer and it was such a fun surprise to see my Garden featured today. Thanks Laura, Aaron and team for adding me on your show today. ❤. Now off I go to the garden center for work 😊
Oh my goodness! The one with the beautiful long window box! You have a truly beautiful landscape ❤
Congratulations. You have a beautiful garden.
I love those window boxes! Did you make them yourself? Also, plant combinations were spot on!
Just beautiful! You have every right to be busting your buttons! Congratulations!
