I was coming here to say this! I’ve been watching for years but I still like a gentle reminder to get on something if I’ve let it slip! Plus I like to see year to year anything that’s done differently or see how something is laid out in the space. For those of us that love to garden it certainly doesn’t get old!

Wow Aaron is really onto something when he suggested making a video about bloom times! That is EXACTLY what I would love to know and I don’t think I’m alone in that. I’m always on a very tight budget and need to make decisions based on the best bang for my buck. Unfortunately with gardening, I’m a novice so I don’t have years of experience to draw on. This would be SO helpful!

Your videos are the first thing I look for every morning so do not worry about them being boring or the same thing each year. I've been following for years and I learn something every time I watch them. Also, I really appreciate that you don't overuse tired phrases, you have a pleasant voice and you both are so positive and upbeat and get to the point quickly. I've watched every single video since I found that charming blonde girl with the pretty little townhouse garden. I've never once thought, omgosh, how many times are you going to do the same thing? I have 3.5 acres, with 2/3 being wooded. We are surrounded by protected land with no hunting and let's just say my deer population would be envious to some people. I'm not personally a fan. 😂 My beds along the front of the house are basically just deer proof shrubs and bushes. I have a small fenced in area around the back of my house that I can freely plant in and it's mostly shade and deep shade, along a creek. It's beautiful, but it leaves me very limited to containers and shade ground plantings. I live vicariously through you every single day and am so grateful for the content the Garden Answer crew produces. Thank you for what you do!

Count me as another chiming in that Aaron is right! His comments at the end where he mentioned that they could have spent thousands by installing sod vs the slower & less costly route of planting seed, weeding and top seeding the bare spots are so relatable for most of us. I find it helpful to see the practical side of installing a lawn. While many of us don’t have the large lawn they do many of us would also prefer to spend our gardening dollars on plants over grass. Thanks Aaron & Laura for showing lawn care as well as plant care.

Laura has said a few times she is worried about repeating herself but this channel and the different programmes offer advice alongside innovation and sharing what she routinely does (weekly, monthly, annually) is as important as the new developments. All power to her and Aaron!

When you worry about “doing too many of the same” types of video, please don’t worry! I’ve been following along for quite a while now, and I learn something new from every single video… even what may feel like a repeat, I’m still learning something new! Thank you for all you share!

I've heard Aron mention this before about soil being "absorbed" into the plants. Plants grow by utilizing the carbon in CO2 in the air through photosynthesis. The soil is merely the medium through which the roots anchor the plant, absorb water and micronutrients (fertilizer). They do take in very small amounts of water soluble minerals within the soil. Hope that helps!

Watching the recap videos and hearing questions viewers have about your gardens gives me a different perspective. I find I miss a lot in videos because I am usually trying to multitask as I watch. I enjoy Aaron’s feedback also. Your sister’s space will be so beautiful from the beginning. Not having to waiting years for it to develop but be able to enjoy it now is nice. You are such a good sister. Have a Blessed Week.

In nw mo I planted a wisteria on a trellis on front of our porch/deck..uhhg! It became like a tree over the years and NEVER bloomed. We had to cut off the whole trellis to get rid of it…Oh well now are rebuilding the entire deck and getting excited again for how it will look. Been here 35 years , started late on figuring out what I want, and studying what will work. Learning so much from you and all online sources and very thankful for you! Wish I knew when I was your age what I know now…But it’s never too late right! Thanks for inspiring me again!❤

Hi Laura! Having watched you for many years, rest assured that we have not grown weary of your spring planting videos. Also gardening in zone 6 (albeit more shady and therefore a bit behind in CT), I appreciate the prompts and inspiration your videos provide to get out in my own garden and follow suit. ❤
