Can I watch RUclips and use MS-office for words and Excel? also can I install few basic, small softwares like CPU-Z, VLC media player, Adobe acrobat reader. can I play old arcade games like Pacman using emulator. Window-7 has an option of playing old games by changing compatibility of the software, is there any similar function in mac-OS?
You can watch RUclips, and install VLC, Word, Excel etc. I'm not sure about the games though because MacOS doesn't support many things that Windows do, you'll have to look into it.

had same issue on iMac M1 2021 - had to click on the 'globe' image in front of RUclips web site address, it then allowed me to drag the URL onto the desktop. For logo I also used same logo web site as seen in video. Make sure you drag it to the top line of the Info box and a green + sign will appear so you know it will attach itself. Hope this helps

Try cricking command + i after you highlight the link shortcut. It's a keyboard shortcut that opens the get info menu.
