Looking at his facial structure, it seems clear that once the make-up is on, he will hardly look any older as Beetlejuice. He hasn't gotten "puffy" like people often do in their later years.

My cousin is my age and in the 90s he was allowed to watch all the scary movies he even got to watch striptease while I was in bed sulking. Anyway beetlejuice was his favorite. Btw he turned out massive successful and I am a recovering addict.
Everybody should check out the cast in this as well. Many of the originals are in here but the nice surprise for me having a 14 year old daughter is Jenna Ortega is in this, Wednesday which I think is perfect casting as Lydia's daughter.

Keaton is such a legend. I implore everyone to watch or re-watch 'Multiplicity' again. I did a few weeks ago and laughed my asss offf.

I hear some people say "Jim Carrey would've been great for the part of Beetlejuice." He might be good. But Michael played that part perfectly and i can't/don't want to imagine anyone else playing the part.
Exactly, Michael Keaton is one of those actors that you can only see playing the role any role he plays… he was the only thing that I liked about Spider-Man Homecoming.
But this movie was unnecessary, I’m so sick of all of these unnecessary sequels ruining their original movies
Jim Carrey was still too young and green in the late 80s, I think he’s a full 12 years younger than Keaton, he just wouldn’t have had the experience or gravitas that Keaton brings to the role at Carrey’s age at the time

Secondly, Carrey had been a performer since his childhood years. So despite him not being famous yet at the time, he still would’ve and could’ve pulled off the character of Beetlejuice 😉

Just watched a movie called the birdman with him it was very good. He also just did a movie about McDonald's starting their first restaurants.

He was Vulture in the new Spiderman movies and returned as Batman in Flash. He's been high profile again since Birdman in like 2014.
We're all huge Michael Keaton fans and CANNOT WAIT to see this movie. Johnny Dangerously, Gung Ho, MR. MOM!!!, Batman.... man his 80's movies alone are legendary. Some of my faves.

He is without a doubt one of my favorite actors of all time. I mean hes Beetlejuice, the best Batman, Mr Mom, the list goes on and on.
One of my favorite films and also one of the funniest in my collection is called Night Shift. Starring Henry Winkler Shelly Long and Michael Keaton. Ron Howard's first feature film. The comedic chemistry between the three is amazing. He's one the most versatile actors ever in my opinion.

I honestly cannot believe my ridiculous life-long wish for a Beetlejuice sequel is finally happening! Long ago, I had finally allowed myself to accept that it would never happen so I damn near died from over-excitement the second I learned that this was not another false alarm. I may have been waiting 36 years for this, but now that it's finally happening, having to wait several months for it's release is going to kill me. Michael recently stating that the movie is "pretty f**king good" only got me more excited for it, to be honest. Tim Burton has always said that he would not even consider doing a second Beetlejuice movie unless it was going to be absolutely phenomenal, so I am positive this is going to be great and that I will not be disappointed.

I'm so excited to see Delia and Lydia too. I never imagined i would get to see a sequel with returning cast to what's probably my favourite movie of all time. I really like the casting of Willem Dafoe too.

Fun fact: Michael's real last name is "Douglas" but had to change it to something else because there was someone else registered in the Screen Actors Guild with that name (obviously). He took the last name of "Keaton" from the legendary Buster Keaton.

To reprise the role of Beetlejuice at 72 years old is amazing. I completely believe he was tired after playing the character again. It requires so much energy. I'm glad he decided to do it again and if nothing else, I know Keaton will deliver a memorable performance once again.

Absolutely love Michael Keaton as an actor hes awesome. One of those actors you can watch in anything. He played an amazing part in "DopeSick" which is a limited TV series based on a true story its great if anyone wants something to watch.

Michael Keaton is so down to earth and has never changed. Such a great guy and actor. Can`t wait for Beetlejuice 2. The first one was ground breaking in 1988. It was a mix of old school horror, Dracula, The Adams Family, wild 40s cartoons, Little Shop of Horror and modern technology.
And the cast. God damn. It was such a perfect storm and FUNNY. One of the funniest movies in the 80s.
He's still the best Bruce Wayne of all IMHO..

However, I must admit, that as a fan of the original Beetlejuice, I always felt like the eponymous character left me wanting more with how little screentime he gets in the film. Maybe that's why I'm willing to give this movie a chance. So although I feel like the movie wrapped up nicely and didn't need a sequel, I personally see value in this sequel in that, if nothing more, I'll get to see more of Beetlejuice's antics, which I would have loved to have seen more of in the original film.

If I was a producer, for Michael Keaton. I would make a western, where he can build the character, call the Caretaker. One of 3-deputies, who help run a town. But in reality, he is the brain of the town and surrounding areas. A smart, hardworking, visionary and a little crazy. He is the deputy, and caretaker of the town. He has his own secluded whisky stills.
That he supplies the town and surrounding areas. He has a hacienda, with a nice-looking Indian woman cook. He is always in the background; as he been running everything. The Sheriff is mostly oblivious to everything around him. The blacksmith is always inventing knew things. Anytime some bad hombres come to town looking for trouble, it just a matter of time when they find themself in a pine box. Try to build off the hook, characters. NOT SHINE, but able to feel the wind. He is very fast with a gun; be last thing they see coming.
My favorite BATMAN just officially confirmed Beatlegeuse 2 , , freaking awesome , , , hope a sequel to FLASH occurs so they work Keaton back into it again , ,after all DC studios still has John Constantine so reviving Keaton BATMAN is no problem at all , , , ,

I saw Beetlejuice SEVEN TIMES at the theater. I can’t wait for this new one!
I made a Beetlejuice costume back in the day. I watched the VHS over and over again trying to get all of the lines, the mannerisms, all of it. I wore it to a bunch of Halloween parties over a few years. Man oh man, doing that voice all night wears you out. One of my favorite gimmicks was having a bicycle horn in my shorts under the pants to squeeze. I think it was for the “NICE F’n MODEL!!!” line. I loved being Beetlejuice. I could get away with so much.
