Orianthi's technique is totally amazing, and so is her versitility.
I remember Gary Moore going to BBKing to learn how to play "slowly" .. I would love to hear her doing the same... she has so much talent and ability, just has to understand that, sometimes, Less is More!
Agreed. Amazing technique and skill but man...she was stepping all over Lemmo and playing a million miles an hour. That would get punches thrown in some parts hah

She needs heroin...Just kidding. Her playing is quick and articulate but lacks raw emotion. Seriously she still can shred though.

So happy to read these comments. Finally, far fewer people are saying, "She is the best LADY guitarist." That is demeaning to her as if she's not as good as the best guys. I saw her live at the PBS Soundstage taping of her and Sambora. I was in awe, but it got better: She walks up to a stand-mounted, shallow acoustic and did what I can only describe as a FLAMENCO SOLO! Oh my GOD!! I told myself to hold back the tears because this was a live Soundstage, and the camera might pass over me. It did, but I contained myself. LOL

Aussie's burst with pride when this spunky little croweater buladelah (sheila) plays guitar, in fact Ori plays acoustic even better than electric & her PRS's you mention bra, they are her new signature Gibson acoustics. I'm here to tell ya & you're here to be told our Aussie sheilas are not just easy on the eyes our 'Strine gals rock hard & proper all day all night... Kick arse Ori, 'Straya loves ya!

Most performers are just itching to get back on tour. this is the next best thing at Norms. I am diggin it. Those acoustics look huge! I really enjoy the free form jamming.
Yes, the J-200 Jumbo body is about as big as a production acoustic gets, and that big ebony moustache bridge transfers string vibration to the top beautifully. Best sounding acoustic in it's price range, IMO.
I love, love, love ORIANTHI. I'm a complete and total fan. Also, one day I would love to visit NORMANS GUITARS.

I had been looking forward to hearing Orianthe do some acoustic guitar, & had very high expectations. This is fantastic, and I love it..
Orianthi speaking to guitargirlmag website - I began on acoustic. I studied classical guitar when I was nine and went to university and studied classical theory. And I write on acoustic and play a lot of both. But, of course, a lot of the success I’ve had has been with electric guitar.
I was watching the finale on the Voice and they used one of the cherry reds for one of the songs. Very tastee in Orianthi's hands. Excellent jam.
Every now and then I go and watch the first episode with Richie and Ori every. Still my favourite episode of all time.

I know she touts PRS but there are other fish in the sea. I'm a Gretsch fanboi myself but know anything can be made to sound great. What a great representative of the land down under. Ok so last night I was to tired to watch and listen. So imagine that your walking by a club and you hear this great sounding music and it’s full of wailing riffs and you go in expecting to see an SRV, Carlos, or EC jamming and it’s a petite pretty blond and Lemmo and Nick, melting the paint off the walls!!!
She's for real. She's not just another pretty face.
Lemmo can really play with the best of them. He’s a monster on the guitar too.
I think Lemmo is the stronger player. These two, beside each other makes you appreciate how talented he is. Orianthi knows the pentatonic, Lemmo knows the guitar.
Michael is a great player, no doubt. But Orianthi is on another level. Plus class, she rocks

Orianthi has been one of my favorite guitarists ever since I saw her with Alice Cooper like 10 years ago. I've been to a lot of concerts and my day but that Alice Cooper show was the best rock and roll show I've ever seen
