this year next gen is completely out of the question but next year October or November when Nintendo normally goes next gen is imo has to be the time Nintendo goes next generation any later they are going next gen way too late
i don't think, having splatoon 3 on 2 different consoles gives people an unfair advantage; just look at pc games or cross platform regarding new console, new mario kart, 8 dx is already still the wii u's mario kart + dlc maybe we get 8dx+ with this dlcs now included i think a more powerful switch is long overdue actually akin to the new 3ds & big games like tears of the kingdom can definitely benefit from stronger specs. miamoto said himself that pikmin is the nintendo franchise that can benefit the most from better graphics, so maybe pikmin 4 is actually a sign for that. & maybe (& i know they wont do this after the wii u) the next console will be to the switch what the wii u was to the wii & now in retrospect, the wii u was an amazing console + it carried all the wii shop stuff with it, so maybe the switch online will stick around. or it's really just a more powerful switch akin to the new 3ds, with the switch light being the 2ds equivalent in this comparison idk, saw this video on instagram, talk about viewer retention, am i right? nice video overall imo, sorry for not really agreeing tho. still gonna sub, keep up the work uwu
I do agree that we're long overdue for a new nintendo system, I just don't think Nintendo is eager to give us one quite yet bc current switch hardware/software just keeps selling. Don't worry about not agreeing with my points! I made this video fully knowing that a sizeable amount of folks won't agree with me, I just wanted to throw my two cents into the ring, especially with increasing speculation of a new system coming out this year lol
