Today we're looking at how to fix egrett tour marina, it's not that hard but some item placements demand to be precise

I find it very impressive what you accomplished here with no mods and no console commands. Your placement of that ladder is inspired, it looks almost like it is meant to go there and the angle is just right.(I always hide the collapsed floor behind walls but this looks much better) Also, thanks for demonstrating that garden plot trick

Great idea with the Stairs at the front, Some might say there are already stairs, but I love having 2 ways to move around, especially in doors and stairs. Never fails the settlers will block your path if their is only 1 way to go. 7:45 I wonder if the Barn Door wall piece would work here. You would get the partial wall and still the opening you want, if it does. 19:55 I know it will work, because I have done it before as well. I used a different method and took a long time, but it does work. I know you are quite frustrated by this. All in all a great video and a lot of great advice. I hadn't thought about using the floors like that to get the angle for the walls. I guess that is why you are the master and I am just the Padawan. Awesome as always my friend.
thank you Gary. Yeah I had to find something to do with that ramp and figured it was the same angle as stairs (maybe the concrete stair may look better I haven't tried) thank bethesda for using the same angle and wall sizes everywhere ^^
I've tried with the barn door it doesn't really work but maybe I haven't tried hard enough
How did you fix that damn floor? It worked just fine just before I pressed "record" and now for some reason nothing work like it used to (that's probably the most frustrating part of recording videos tbh)
I'm no master and your a better builder than I am brother, I only fix houses lol

It was such a long time ago when I fixed that floor, and I think I scrapped it, because it was when I was using mods and had to scrap everything touching a modded item, or my game crashed. Sometimes the Barn Door pieces seem to have a larger collision area than the busted up piece you used, maybe that is the reason it didn't work. Maybe it will never work. It is something against us, the record function trigger the game to stop working the way it should. Very frustrating. You are a great builder, not just fixing houses, you just don't do it as often. I love all of the complete builds I have seen of yours, they are always very creative and look great. Take care Brother.

thanks, I'm not planning on building there yet (I have no idea what to build tbh ^^) but I may fix other houses without mods as I plan on fixing them all . I have a project for my next full settlements and it requires a new playthrough

You know what? Thats getting a full viewing! I did not care... But that is one hell of a challenge as most of that stuff you also CANNOT MOVE! (Without Console Commands)... I need to see what you do!

Maybe your pillar isn't close enough (conduits need to almost be inside the pillar

I know how frustrating this location is but it's better than nothing. I truly believe Bethesda went out of their way to mess with builders! lol!
I'm sure the whole point of the settlement system is to sell antidepressor and cigarettes ^^
I was frustrated by myself most of the time, like when I remove this piece of roof for no reason and can't place it back ^^ for the floor I swear I placed it just before and it won't work now... (maybe on the french version of the video I'll succeed who knows...)
