I'm not the biggest fan of spiders, but I am absolutely charmed by how this beauty walks.
The slow, delicate steps it takes, especially with those two front legs is a mix between funny, because it looks like it's slapping the ground as it moves fast, and dainty because when it goes slower it looks very deliberate and careful :)
Agreed
It always looks like they only have some control over their limbs, which might be the case. I don’t really know how spider legs work other than they’re basically boner legs.
I have no fear of any of the "thicc legged" spider species. But for some reason the bulbous abdomen, and the spindly-legged ones get me riled.
Same! I hold tarantulas and jumping spiders all the time. But cellar spiders scare me soooo much. It's ridiculous how much they scare me.
@@Heavy_Meadow I just flatten those, when I encounter them. They have almost done in all our Tegenaria atrica. The cellar spiders are NOT endemic to our country, hence the squashing. 😄👍

Spiders are reclusive creatures, not usually dangerous to us, and just want to be left alone. They're so misunderstood.
Some very dangerous spiders are VERY agressive and might attack you for no reason, but it's not a big problem since most people would die out of a heart attack seeing it before it could bite them

I used to be like that
They’re really interesting too. You could keep a tarantula as a pet and they’re easy to take care of maybe, and they’re also quite harmless
Pixie Minie , I really want one! But I have two pet rats who are more then enough to care for ^^

Eskiez 900 no I am like that
I think spiders are gorgeous, just in a terrifying, adore-from-afar kinda way.
I'm a (mostly) recovered arachnophobe. They used to terrify me when I was younger, but I forced myself to get over it. They don't intend us any harm, even the poisonous ones. I even had a HUGE "pet" spider that housed itself in a funnel web by my kitchen table (no, not a funnel web spider; I live in Washington State). I think my cat ate her.....which actually pissed me off. But I've got them all over my place, mostly cellar spiders, but some common house spiders as well; they're my friends and I like having them around.
Good news, your cat probably didn't eat it. Cats tend to stay away from Spiders, whereas they'll eat any other bug. Your spider probably just left, which they tend to do. They often move locations to find more food.
@@jonnyb.animationstutorials7119 Could be, but it looked like her web had been tampered with. Who knows. Either way, I was kind of bummed about it.

I dont understand whys theres so many people telling this man, even years later down the road (when I'm sure this orb weaver which was an adult has passed on by now) to kill his pet. I love watching others be able to handle spiders, because I personally think that their all beautiful. In their own creepy, dangerous way. But if this orb weaver has passed by now, hes probably still upset about it, because you can tell in the video how much he loved her. Quit telling this man to kill his pet. Especially if you have a oet, whether it's a dog, car, bird, etc. Because you wouldn't want someone saying that kind of stuff to you, especially if your pet passed away.
