Strangely enough, these videos help my arachnophobia so much, even though they are quite violent with their attacks.
I have been scared of spiders since I was a little kid, and would cry if they got anywhere near me.
Thanks to these videos, I am actually able to look at certain spiders without freaking out, and was able to hold a deli cup with a young tarantula in it at a reptile expo I went to.
I'm still scared of spiders with longer, skinnier legs though, as there is just something about them that gives me the creeps. But I'm finally able to see that tarantulas are actually quite beautiful from a distance.
Not sure I'd want to handle them outside of an enclosure, and I would probably not be able to keep them as pets, but my new found appreciation for these creatures definitely isn't unwelcome.
So, thanks a bunch for your unintentional help!

GamerBoy except they don’t get tamed... at all... they’ll still tag you if they feel threatened at any point. And tagging is a bite in which they don’t latch onto you and stay. That’s why he uses tongs. They’re not going to substantially hurt you if they bite you but that’s why he uses tongs to change their water and for feeding.

I really don’t like spiders, but watching your channel is so oddly satisfying for me. They are so pretty and I love how gentle and caring you are towards them/the way you talk to them.
