      The Nature Boy......Wooooooooo!!!
      To be the man, you gotta beat the man. Stylin and Profilin.
      My dad took my brother and I to Monday Night wrestling, 47..48 years ago. I continued going up until bout, 20 or so years ago. I am now 55. Met a lot of wrestlers through the years. The ones people hated or booed, are some of the nicest people you could ever meet. Thank you Jordan, once again for another great vlog! Glad you were there for Rick's last match👍

    It's great getting to see your childhood wrestler in the ring one last time. Of course he was slow but damn he showed he could do it. Ric Flair is truly the GOAT! I loved seeing Tony Schiavone & David Crockett at the announce table, Doug Dellinger as Head of Security, Earl Hebner, Mike Chiota, & the old Jim Crockett Promotion set. Made me feel like I was 14 years old watching Sat Wrestling. Thank you Jordan @Daze with Jordan the Lion for sharing your fantastic birthday weekend. I for one loved it!

    Thanks for the brilliant upload!
    Totally agree that it was great that Ric got to do what he loved, one last time. Having a farewell match on his own terms is something that not even Hulk Hogan got to do (his final match was some TNA House how).
    At first I was a little surprised that Ric wasn't able to put more of his body into his signature chops... but then it also dawned that he 70+ and also has had to overcome a million and one things in recent years just to be in the ring last night.
    Jay Lethal was brilliant, as always. Really happy for him that he got to work in his idol's final match. Really must mean the world to him.
    And finally, I am surprised at how brilliant Jeff Jarrett looked in there. I didn't expect him to be in great shape at his, but he was. What shocked me though is how sharp, athletic, and mobile he was throughout the entirety of the match. He's still great at selling and working the crowd. Top marks to Double J!

    • @chadmiller2224
      @chadmiller2224 2 года назад +2

      yeah I was blown away. He could go full time probably. I loved seeing Ric one last time but couldn't help feeling sad at how limited he was. I knew he wouldn't be flipping over the turnbuckles or running to the top to be caught and flung across ring. But I was at least hoping for a knee drop or a bit more of that charisma. You could tell he was kind of down from being so out of his element while doing something he used to be the absolute best at doing. We got a strut but I was wanting more heel Flair to show. Woo'ing after chopping them to pieces and coming down the aisle with that million dollar smile and a babe on each arm. I'm happy to get what we got though. The guy is 73 and you could tell after a few min he felt it!

    Boy did this vlog bring back memories. We saw Ric Flair multiple times wrestle in his hay-day. Always battered and bloody. Always loved when he strutted across the ring and rolled across the top ring. His slaps,chops and punches could be heard in the restroom area. Even though age has slowed him “a little” he’s still best at the figure four and putting all he can into match. Thank you for the match and the trip down memory lane.

    Jordan the Lion with a year in my eye thank you so much for sharing this night with us. It means a lot to me to have seen Ric Flair's last match. I started watching Ric and the 4 Horsemen back in the mid 1980s up till the last days of the WCW days. I have been together with Michael for 28 years. I think I have seen Michael cry or shed a tear maybe a handful of times since we've been together. Watching this particular vlog was one of those times. During the 1970's and the 80's he used to follow the wrestlers, the old time wrestlers all over the country photographing their lives behind the scenes and matches before it became a huge media success. When Michael and first started dating back in the early 90's, Monday nights were always out to go out because he could never missed a wrestling show.
    We both enjoyed watching this historical vlog.
    I met wrestler Ric Flair at a meet and greet with Michael about 30 years ago. Although; it was a short conversation I remember talking to Ric and saw how he made an effort to speak with all that were at the event. Including the riff raff like us! 🤗 Ric was so genuine, engaging and very humble to his fans. All of Jordan Lee's DWJTL vlogs never disappoint. Michael wanted me to write, "Thank you for the outstanding wrestling vlogs!"

      I'm literally crying ... I use to watch Rick growing up with my dad. I'm so sad that we get old but we all do and its just something we have to learn to cope with. It's so hard sometimes. I found out today that my bull dog who is 13 1/2 doesnt have long to live and inside I'm such a terrible mess about it all. I'm really glad Rick was able to have this last match.

When Ric's match started I dont think i blinked once because I didn't wanna miss a single second of what will be the most historical match in wrestling history as far as I'm concerned. Ric looked like he never lost his talent but he was obviously not as fast as he used to be but he still pulled off a great match.
