I made the trip to Greensboro as well. Sting coming out to Metallica with his sons wearing his old gear was everything. So happy that Sting was able to end his career on his terms exactly how he wanted.
Love that he walked out to "Seek & Destroy" one final time. What a legend. Will be weird not seeing him in the ring anymore, but the retirement is well-deserved.
The Original Seek & Destroy…Not Woodstock Version he used in WCW!!!!!!!
he'll be back
Sting in my book one of if not the greatest professional ever. He is retiring in his mid sixties and still preforming at level most professional wrestlers hope to be preforming at when they are in their mid to late thirties. Seriously how many other professional wrestlers have wrestled for over 38 years and still doing like he has been doing in.
Thank You Sting!
Thank you Jordan for recording and posting this match. As someone on a fixed income getting to see this wouldn't have happened otherwise. I have been blessed to have seen the start of Stings career and so many of his milestones so getting to see his last match makes me smile and cry at the same time. I fell for Sting as a teen, embraced him as an adult and will love him always. Thank you Sting for always having us in your life and career.
I'm on fixed income too . God Bless You 🙏✝️
Agreed 💯%❤️
Thankyou Jordan. 😎👍
I couldn't have said it better myself. Thank you, Jordan. And God bless the Stinger.🥹😊🙏🏽😎🤘🏽
Amen. This is blessing. Thrilled able to watch this
Thanks for sharing. Love Sting!
When the steamboat came out.!! It gave me goose bumps. Memories!!!!
Ric Flair is pretty awesome too!
I've seen him wrestle several times in that very building in the 12 years I lived in the area... He has always been my all time favorite wrestler...Thanks for documenting this for a true Sting fan!!!!
Another legend has retired. Great video Jordan. I remember watching Sting through my childhood until now. Great person and wrestler!
Thank you for recording and sharing this once in a lifetime moment!
It was all in all a great show! Seeing his sons dressed up (and the spitting image of him) was great. Also, Ospreay vs Takeshita was amazing.
I agree, takeshita and ospreay was incredible!
Glad you enjoyed your time Jordan & Katie it was a awesome show plus Sting is a legend happy he was able to go out on his own terms thanks for the great memories & Entertaining us I also thought Stings's sons dressing up as their father was cool
Hate seeing the guys of my youth ( best era of wrestling ever ) retire. Thank you for the memories!!
Thank you for all the wrestling content! I grew up watching with my Dad. Since losing him a few years ago, it's been so nice seeing all the content you've posted reminding me of my childhood!❤
A class act in every sense. God bless Sting.
Thank you for this footage and most importantly thank you Sting
Awesome footage. Fantastic seats & vantage point. I could almost feel the goosebumps of everybody in that arena.
thank you so much for making this! a rollercoaster of emotions! frisson and tears! i love it!
I remember when he first started. Thanks for sharing this moment with us Jordan & Katie. I truly enjoyed it. 🥰
Thank you post this man Sting is a legend forever
I remember him when i was a kid what an icon! Thanks for another great video Jordan!!!
Sting a Wrestling Legend...Icon..
Wow, glad you got to see this. I would have tried to be there if I had time off from work. Sting is Awesome.😎
I’m not a wrestling or boxing fan but you and Katie sure look beautiful and happy together. The video did bring memories of my godfather uncle and my friend’s father who many years ago enjoyed seeing wrestling matches. I must say that Sting has quite a presence. Thanks Jordan & Katie for sharing your adventures with us. ❤🙏🌟
I wished it to be at All in 2023... but I guess it made more sense in this arena, full of memories to Sting. It was the best Wrestling Event i watched ever.
awe they even let the man leave on a win what a bunch of sweeties. I love those guys.
#thankyouSting
and thank you for taking and sharing this Jordan. always neat to see fan perspectives. and the coliseum is a sweet venue for alot. been to many concerts and wrestling shows there
Sting for president what a legend
Thanks for the video!! Hate to see him retire!! Great to see all the legends there too!!
What a way to bring it home for The Stinger. 🦂
That was kick ass! I haven't got to see a live match since Raw lol but this felt like I was there. Bought the whole seat but I only needed the edge! Thank you Sting and Jordan and Katie! 🤘
Damn good final match! Thx for posting this. I've watched Sting since the NWA and this was a fitting tribute!
Wow! What a blast that was! Thank you for sharing it with us, Jordan!
One of the best AEW ppv's I have seen in a long time. Ospreay vs Takeshita was an incredible match.
Jordan thank you so much for this. You have the same experience as me with the wrestling history that you remember during your childhood years is the same as mine even though I am a bit older than you. ❤❤❤
I watched it on Bleacher Report , stings match was certainly the highlight of the event , hope you guys had fun and enjoyed yourselves 😊
Oh man Jordan you get to see all the awesome things Rics last match now Sting keep it up
That's awesome! I'm happy he was able to go out with a bang!
Thanks so much for posting this, Jordan. I’ve seen a fair number of ‘final matches’, but I can’t think of a single wrestler who deserves such an ovation as much as the Stinger. A genuinely good human being.
On another note: I’ve always loved Ric Flair. But now every time I see him I can’t help think something. I’ve had more than my fair share of experience with scar tissue. Every time I see him take a bump, even a relatively mild bump, I swear I think I’m going to see his belly split open & him just eviscerate on the canvas.
Once again - Thanks for doing this, Jordan 👍🏼
THANK YOU STING!
But I also have to say Thank You for recording this match and build up so I could too enjoy it through your eyes…
Much appreciated 👏👏👏
And it actually looked like a great match too! 👍
Thank you, Jordan! I’ve been a Stinger since I was a kid. My dad and I would watch him all the time on TBS and I couldn’t wait to see what colors he would come out in. We used to call him Bart Simpson Sting. Thank you, Sting! 🦂
Thanks for uploading this. Loved it so much
I thought I saw you before the matches started but I wasn't sure. This was one hell of an emotional night. I haven't been interested much in wrestling as of late. I feel the wrestling I love is dead, but I couldn't miss this one night. Really didn't care about any match other than this one so I wandered around talking to several legends. It was great talking Lex and Magnum again after so many years and FINALLY getting to meet Ricky living up to his reputation of being one of the nicest guys in wrestling.
Watching it again at home I see that there were several points where the match itself was really sloppy. I don't think anybody in that arena gave a damn or will give one in the future. I watched Sting's TV debut with JCP/WCW from my living room in 1987. I've been a fan ever since.
Now here we are, both old men. Both feeling the aches and pains of life well lived and here he is working like it was 40 years ago. THIS is the way an Icon SHOULD go out.
Darby, let's give him some credit too. This kid is amazing. He has the potential to be at Sting's level later in life. But as Ric Flair has told him, he needs to throttle down a bit to get there. These bumps he's taking now will add up in a few years and I don't want to see his talent wasted by having his career cut short when this all catches up to him.
100% a night I will never forget.
Thank you for posting this!
What a final match, the one he deserved. Such an emotional ride. Have to give some respect to the young bucks, they took everything and Even when throwing Sting around they never put him in danger of real injury for this match.
My son was there. I showed him your channel to look out for you. I have not talk to him yet I will later today. Sure you had fun Mr. The Lion
Great video my guy! What an experience yall had that night. Got to see stinger on his last run in LA when he teamed with Darby & Edge. THANK YOU STING. THE ICON WILL FOREVER BE IMMORTAL
Thank you Sting 🦂 it really was a fun match to watch. The one thing I would’ve left out and Eric Bischoff pointed it out on a live edition of 83 Weeks after the show was the high spot of Darby off the ladder and into a pane of glass. That part didn’t add to the match
I completely disagree. I loved the spot off the ladder into the glass. Katy and I talked about it several times in the night after.. plus, I whole-heartedly find eric bischoff to be an idiot that lucked into the best job of his life.. his opinions on wrestling are exactly what I hate about wrestling
Thanks for catching the ending. They missed it out on the PPV. Awesome show. You are so lucky to have been there.
Thank you Jordan for bringing this to those of us that couldn't catch the PPV otherwise. It is appreciated. Now on to the comment that needs to be made. I never thought I'd see Sting retire, I've been a fan since Surfer Sting, was rooting and hoping he'd join the Wolf Pac and then not follow them when they rejoined the Black and White. I fell out of touch when he went to TNA though I am intrigued by Sting's Joker phase, and was a fan all the way through his AEW stint, even though I rarely got to watch any of his matches. (Yes I was hoping he'd pair up with Darby. They just work so well and he needs someone to reign in his Jeff Hardyesque tendencies. Okay that last part didn't quite work like I hoped it would.) Sting, you had a brilliant career and brought joy to plenty of fans of all ages. I hope your retirement brings you as much joy as you have brought us. Love you man and Retire In Peace.
brought a tear to this sting fans eye. people who didnt live it or grow up with it just wouldnt understand
AMAZING!!!
Thx for setting this up. Really cool to see it from the POV of a live fan at the PPV.
Super happy to watch your video of this match! Sting has always been my favorite wrestler.😍 Thank you for sharing!!
One of the best match I’ve seen in a while!
Your impact on wrestling is why you are a living legend ⚡ Thanks for the great wrestling through the years. All the best too you and your family God bless all your days ✝️🕊️🇺🇸
Thanks for the awesome video
Row 7 Section A and I still wasn't close enough. I think if I had been in the ring it wouldn't of been enough. Sting thank you. I still remember Sting's first match when I was 6. I loved him then and I love him now. Meeting him was a dream come true. He was more than I could of dreamed up. Even though he is my favorite wrestler taking to him about God was the most amazing experience.
He is my favorite wrestler as well! Thanks for sharing!
Man! I was there too! Wish I would've seen you there. Been watching your videos for years!
Thank you for posting this. I have been a Stinger fan since he started out in WCW.
The end of an era ... the most ICONIC WCW wrestler in the 80s and 90s ... he will never be forgotten
My Brother and l was there also. STING IS A ICON. WRESTLING WILL MISS STING. DORTON ARENA DAYS IN RALEIGH WAS IT FOR ME. GREAT VIDEO. We Sat above the tunnel lex luger and ddp came out of
Sting and undertaker were my two favorites but I never was able to see them wrestle live. My dream match was sting vs taker too bad it never happened it would’ve been epic. Thank you sting for all the memories!!
Got me teary eyed and shit lol Sting will forever be a legend. The Goat in my book.
Great match and a perfect ending for Sting! Thanks for the video...
Thank you so much for posting this! Like many others, Sting has and will always be my hero!
I want to compliment All Elite Wrestling for giving Sting the retirement match that he deserved. It was done with dignity and respect for Steve Borden and the character of Sting. I first saw Sting with Warrior when they came to Memphis as the Bladerunners. Growing up in Memphis and watching every Saturday morning and going to the Mid South Coliseum on Monday nights was awesome. He'll end up driving the school bus for this grandkids. God bless ya, Steve. Farewell to The Legend and THE ICON 💗💗💗💯✌
Daze with Jordan the Lion thanks for uploading, i bet you had a blast watching stings last match with darby winning the tagteam title belts,i cant wait for more videos from you sitting ringside during wrestling PPV`s..i subbed
I cannot express my gratitude for uploading this. Tried and failed to get tickets... And this seat is better than the one I even tried to get. 😊
I was totally thinking about you last night during the ppv. Super jealous. Tooooo sweeeeeet!
Thankyou for Capturing a True Icon and a Moment that will alive in FOREVER!
Thanks for sharing this - I've watched Sting on and off since the late 80s. This video and the match itself reminded me why I loved wrestling back in my teens
Just found out Ole Anderson died. RIP
Cool stuff!
I remember seeing him in the early 90s. A friend bought tickets and asked me to go.
This was actually really cool.
I clicked on the video not expecting much, but it was really good.
Thanks, Jordan.
Much Love and Respect to the Young Bucks for making Sting's final match as great as it was Gonna miss The Stinger
I agree! The house was so pumped!
I been watching wrestling for over 60 years and have saw a lot come and go but always enjoyed watching sting
great sendoff for a legend, in My home state of North carolina, pretty sure that's how the man wanted it, in the legendary arena his stardom was born. Wish i coulda made it to the show - never got to see my hero live - been to more than a couple events, all WWE unfortunately.

Crowd seemed hot all night. Ospreay got a superstar ovation which, as an Englishman, makes me happy! Great video mate!
Thanks for posting this! You had great seats. Pretty emotional atmosphere I bet. I was tearing up watching. Be easy brother :)
Awesome video, Sting was and always will be the Icon. Awesome wrestler band super nice guy
Thanks so much from all of us that couldn't see his greatest match ever
I've watched Sting for many years and happy he got to go out on his own terms. He will be missed very much. I loved his final match it was awesome. So what will happen to Darby now he will need another tag team partner I wish Sting the best. And Darby hang in there you have a lot of fans behind you.
I been your fan since wcw days. Sting forever!
Thanks for sharing! this is awesome..... Thank you STING
Thank you for uploading this, wished I could have been there to see the Icon one last time.
THANK YOU STING!!!!
Thanks for posting this video, I wish it didn't cut out sometimes and move forward but I know if you didn't do that you probably couldn't put it on here but I've been a Sting fan since I first saw him in the UWF almost 40 years ago and I really loved him in WCW of course like everyone did, I didn't watch him so much lately because I didn't really know how to watch AEW but he's always been one of my favorite wrestlers ever and he always will be!
I did the best I could around copyright. I editednit 5 times before I finally just had to let youtube remove any sections they didn't accept
I was in that same building for Starcade 86! What a historic place! Good job Jordan
That musta been awesome! Grew up on Sting and that was an incredible performance for a 45 year old and unmatched by anyone near his age! Hope you avoided the flying glass!
Thank you 🙏 so much for posting this. Much appreciated.
Sad this is his last match, but he is an Icon. Everybody knows Sting. Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks for not talking over the footage and panning to yourself. Well done all around
What an awesome match! Going to miss seeing STINGGGG! Thanks for the video….
Never heard of you or seen your videos before, but thank you so much for sharing this. Immediately liked the video before watching. Sting was a massive part of my childhood and what an event. Thanks for allowing me to feel almost like I was part of it.
Great angle as well on the Stinger splashes from his sons. Really impressive air Steven (Wolfpac Sting) got on his second Stinger Splash. They both jumped early on the first but nice job on the second. Really cool video man!
Dude I love that don't even worry about the hair sting
Thank You Jordan, I couldn't afford to watch this on pay per view. To be able to watch is a Blessing. Thank You again.
Thanks for the update, will be missed
Damn Sting's son in Wolfpack gear has some HOPS! He was hitting those splashes from half way across the ring LOL!
its great that his sons were there
Thanks for sharing i was there but it's cool to see a play back
