I’m a new subscriber you guys. Thank you for this memorial. I’m a Carolina native, Ric Flair was a huge part of my childhood back when Charlotte and Greensboro were the top venues in the NWA and with Mid Atlantic. He and Ricky Steamboat were young guys back then. So sad to see Reid’s story
Hello Jordan & Katie thanks for sharing this it's crazy that Reid Flair is no longer here it's sad how Reid passed away too his life was just beginning Rest in Paradise Reid
Bless his heart. So young and tragic. Thank you Jordan and Katie. I am really glad you chose to do this memorial video. Means a lot to real wrestling fans. Safe Travels. ~Love&Light♥️Carli
Very well done and respected blog. Glad you focused on the human side of Reid and Ric Flair and Ric’s attempts to save his son. Another family devastated and heartbroken with the loss of a child due to drugs.
I so love the wrestlers of the 60s 70s 80s. I saw Stings first match on TV. The Von Erica's around then and Bret Hart. Thank you as always for a few minutes of great entertainment ❤
It seems the father was an enabler.. it's tough but sometimes you have to let go it was tough for me to let that be a part of my life when it came to my daughter but I did but now she is free and clean you just had her second daughter may he rest in peace 🙏
RIP Reid Flair. I choked up at this part in the documentary. So sad and tragic what happened to him. I’m so glad that Ashley aka Charlotte Flair has honored him and continues to do.
Thank you Jordan, and Katie, for this wonderful trubute to Ric Flair's son Reid. Extremely Sad and I know his father feels guilty, I definitely can understand. Thank you for being respectful to the family
I used to see Ric Flair out and about in Charlotte years ago. I remember when his son passed away. I don’t think Ric ever got over it… I live about a mile away from this cemetery and mausoleum. I’ve been inside.. Beautiful place… R.I.P. Reid 🕊🥀
So sad! I've shared here before my mother was a huge fan of wrestling in the 60s and early 70s. I wasn't a fan until l started watching you do vlogs about wrestling and stories about wrestlers. My favorite is the Andre the Giant videos. Thanks for this one! I remember when you got to meet Ric and get a picture with him, you were so excited! Unfortunately some of us don't recover and die. So young and so much potential, just really sad ! So much respect you and Katie have shown for him! Ty, take care and safe travels you 3♥️♥️♥️
Thank you Jordan for the travel vlog of Reid Flair. A very sad story for a young man with true wrestling talent and a bright promise for the WWE. I am curious why Reid was staying and sadly died, in a Residence Inn hotel that was located close to his dad's house? Reid had just wrestled a match in Japan on 03/15/13 and flew directly home to Charlotte after the match. With his drug and legal issues I would have thought there would have been a family member helping monitor his health or recovery progress. This is so heartbreaking. God bless Reid.
Jordan really loved this I heard interviews with Ashley saying how close her and Reid were I believe Ashley has saying that her and Reid said Tattooed on her side
I'm only aware of Reid Flair because of the line that Paige (currently as Seraya in AEW) said to Charlotte Flair during their fued (can't remember when) "Your baby brother didn't have much fight in him, did he ? Which if I remember correctly, Ric wasn't told about the line being used (before hand) However, this is where it gets crazy The person who suggested the line was no other, Charlotte Flair (Reid's Sister) to give the feud some edge. (I'm not kidding)
That's so sad. I didn't know about this. Darn drugs. 😢 RIP Reid. Arn Anderson looks a lot like my husband. One day a guy was trying to get my husband's autograph bc he thought he was Arn Anderson. My husband told him, no I'm not him. The guy said I'll give you $20.00 for your autograph. My husband just laughed and said no...
I watched an interview with Ric Flair recently--when he talked about Reid and what happened he cried made me cry!!! Having lost a child myself !! I have always loved Ric!!
B what did incredibly sad story!!!! However, you honored him well and gave him a voice. Many years ago, mad dog vision was a dear friend of mine. He actually was a very kind and gentle soul. He would show up at my house and knock on the door I'd open the door and there he would be standing with a cribbage board and he'd say I got a match tonight, do you want to play cribbage before? It's always stop and play Croatian till he had to leave. I have so many fond memories of him!
we were told in ALANON (for families of addicts) that 25%of all addicts or alcoholics. will die from it and never be able to kick the habit for long or permanently. 25% is alot.....and that drugs were harder than alcohol to quit.
Addict brains are wired differently. If you are unfortunate enough to find your DOC, it’s a hard road back. BUT, it is possible. It hurts and it’s hard, but it’s possible.
I hope you enjoyed NC - I live in Salisbury, in between Charlotte & Greensboro. Let me know if you’re passing thru! Salisbury is the birthplace of Cheerwine! Safe travels!
Hey, how have you been?I been since I first saw you. I ready did this, but I said prayer for his family at the end. Maybe one day we could do a video together
Now Rick Flare's son Sebastian died today by suicide. He shot himself. Sad. I just saw his new music video that will be releasing a new album next year.
I know it's easier said than done but Ric shouldn't have to carry that burden he did what he could for his son. But Reid needed to want the help. Rest in peace young man and may God continue to bless your whole family
Reid Flair R.I.P.🙏✝️ Ric Flair baby boy son. Ric mourns his baby!💔 He blames himself. The Beast of addiction is to Blame! It never let's go of Us! Not your fault Ric Flair!🙏✝️
I don’t believe his life was sad and tragic, he came from a wealthy family, given more opportunities than most people ever get! He literally had all the doors opened for him and he pissed everything away! It was self inflicted misery!
He knew where to find the drugs he was never happy till he got high . Speed and alcohol made a lot of tuff men but depending on making a million when you want that high Steroids also do the same thing . He got high as hell and payed the price Arnold had a heart attack so drugs kill .

Some people can do drugs and no big deal others they take such a hold and there’s no escape. Very sad
Lion looks like Rick Ness from gold rush he looks like his twin

I've known Ric since the late 70s. Remember when Reid was a little boy.

Cool 😎 ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Although extremely sad, it was no surprise when he finally OD'd he had several close calls prior to his death.
Unfortunately
Wow he was young man, I was 31 in 2013, so he was 24/25 years old 😮
Rick Flair was always nice I heard.

Sad Story Still A Very Interesting Video!
Now Rick Flare's son Sebastian died today by suicide. He shot himself. Sad. I just saw his new music video that will be releasing a new album next year.
Sadly, this is usually the outcome of wanting to be a friend above a parent
HEY JORDAN...........

I think they've got his last name misspelled.
No that's the actual spelling. They changed it for wrestling purposes.
@@ElizabethTheUnicorn829 okay, wasn't sure about it.
Thanks
@@Ron-zi3cg you're welcome. It was on his Biography episode that's how I knew. I think it's German (could be mistaken) I know it European 😂.
@@ElizabethTheUnicorn829 okay, it sounds like it might be, and looks like it, but can't be for sure though.
Just curious how come the last name Flair was spelled differently on the grave ?
That is their real last name
Thanks for answering my question.I thought that's what the difference might be , but didn't want to assume.@@carolynjustagagirl2315
I don’t believe his life was sad and tragic, he came from a wealthy family, given more opportunities than most people ever get! He literally had all the doors opened for him and he pissed everything away! It was self inflicted misery!
Many chances but failed. Lost his life
Wow they should have locked him up and got him some good help there doctors out there don't care
Did you meet Ric on Sunday ?
Ric Flair Almost Died Himself From Years of Drinking Alcohol ! Ric Flair Couldn't Turn His Back on his Baby Son!
He knew where to find the drugs he was never happy till he got high . Speed and alcohol made a lot of tuff men but depending on making a million when you want that high Steroids also do the same thing . He got high as hell and payed the price Arnold had a heart attack so drugs kill .
