Asking that question about Ric's son and giving him the space to open up, was so therapeutic for a parent who lost a child. Sometimes, you just want to be vulnerable and speak about his loss without wearing a mask.

My mom took me to the shows every tuesday for a while. I got Ric's autograph one day, he stopped and talked to me and my mom. Ric was and still is the "Man", he wore the clothes and the jewelry. He was so much to us kids!! We owe him so much.

I wish he was man enough to be honest to those who love him in regards to his short comings and lack of accountability when it came to us. It's sad that it takes facing mortality to be honest, like those who love you don't deserve the respect of explanations either.
