Sting saying “I’m not sure what I could offer.” Dude is so humble, it’s amazing!
Sting could decide to just sit at ringside being a match timekeeper and he'd be contributing more than we deserve. I really hope he does something where we could still see him around.
2 words "Talent Development".
Look at ANY interview where sting is mentioned and you'll never find a negative word said. He has been a picture of conduct and grace. He has always presented himself as a gentleman and a friend to his coworkers.
The wrestlers on wwe, and the vast majority in AEW have no idea what it's like to live out of your car, get paid $0-50 dollars to wrestle a house show just to get their names out there or gain some experience. They worry more about fame and fortune and politicking than the art behind pro wrestling. They're drama kings and queens, comparatively.
Heck with billy corgan bringing back the territories for NWA, Sting could just buy a small territory and use it to train and develop talent and his name ALONE would draw up indies to come wrestle for him where he could really teach them how to conduct themselves and have a successful career.
Being at Revolution last night was a memory ill carry forever. TY Sting...for my childhood, adult, and last nights fan. The Icon.
Your lucky man! I got to see the chili peppers on Saturday at least
@@MediCali951 love the chillipeppers. You're lucky. Between them and Sting we're talking about legends here.
I'm 54...
Sting has been one of my heros since day one in wcw.
Him the Steiners, naitch, everyone who was there back then.
The feud with Vader was epic.
Thank you sting... really thank you.🙏🏻
also 54...100% with you in this. a real hero from my teenage years.
Also 54 and Sting has always been my number 1
Thank you Sting for all the years and all the memories. I'm excited to see where Darby goes from here.
Darby is cleary going to hospital now after that match .lmao 😂
I hope Darby goes back into the main event
Darby is also retiring no more Sting no more Darby.
Nobody can tell Tony nothin' after Sting's comments. Sting gave the kind of affirmation and confirmation that speaks to the very heart of anyone trying something hard-- you cared about me, you promised something special, you sacrificed and delivered. No wonder Tony's been fighting back the tears at every turn. It was powerful to watch.
Exactly. How can anyone hate on this.
You gave me millions and millions and millions of dollars
😂😂😂
Thank you Tony for booking sting correctly and giving him a proper send off unlike wwe where he was a wasted talent
Facts aew and wcw loved him more tony and sting should work together going to miss you sting my legend
Oh they tried to bury sting... He was the backbone of WCW , and one of the reasons why WCW was kicking WWE butt in ratings every Monday... So why not make sting look like a joke during his brief time in the WWE... They didn't even want him to compete there anymore after he said he was medically cleared to wrestle...
This is what WWE should’ve done for him. They should’ve made it something to remember not something to regret and it was 100% something that is regrettable from a fans standpoint and I’m sure his personal the absolute 🐐
LMAO
WWE is a joke for a reason.
@@christophermarriott1681theyre a joke but doing the best right now and financially and well lol sit down
HHH thinks he's just bigger than that.
They were too hung up on making him a physical stand-in for WCW so they could get one last win over it
I never expected sting retirement to hit as hard as it did. Thank You Sting. Truly a living legend
I've cried so much laughed so much and just been so in awe of how amazing a send Sting has got which he deserves 100 percent. Thank you Tony for letting The Icon write his own storybook ending and thank you Steve Borden aka The Icon Sting for 40 years of giving me the greatest ride i have ever been on. Its bittersweet as i am so sad you are gone but grateful at the same time you got to show everyone what a true class act you are in and out of the ring. I do hope you are back in some capacity and i was really hoping to see you in Wembly. Again Thank you and i love you Steve.
This portion of your race Sting, you finished well. Thank you Sting, Darby, TK and AEW for letting Sting finish his career the right way.
I get so sick of reading comments of people thanking sting. He’s not reading any comments on RUclips from middle aged fanboys. Obviously
😂
@@SJRice so, who cares. Why does it bother you so bad. It’s just a mark in time. What if by some chance a family member of Stings reads it and knows that he was appreciated for entertaining the masses. When my dad passed away, I appreciated every individual that came up and acknowledged my dad. Guess what? My dad didn’t get to hear a single thing they said, but it made a difference to me. So again, who really cares if Sting gets to read it or not?
@@SJasonKnowles I feel like ‘so, who cares. Why does it bother you so bad’ applies just as much to your petty reply to my comment as mine does to yours. So zip it
@@SJRice you said, “So zip it.” Forgive me I didn’t know I was dealing with a child.
@@SJRice I believe it’s time for you to leave your mom’s basement and go out into the real world. Try getting a little sunshine, you may like it.
Thank you Sting, thank you for let us meet you 🥹
Tony's face was having a spaz out when Sting mentioned steroids😂😂
Yeah i noticed that 🤣😂👍
@DianaMartinez-nw5kg Okay good I thought I was the only one 😂🤣👍🏻👍🏻
Sting finally gets to lay the boots down and relax. My guy has carried wrestling outside of the wwe for years and years.
Sting is my Michael Jordan 💯
Same
He’s my Joey Chestnut
He's my Usain Bolt
Who is sting...🤔🤔🥱🥱
Mine too
AEW needs a hall of fame one day and sting should be the first one and maybe do a sting tournament one day like they do with the owen hart cup
Maybe when they reach 10 years... It's too son to have a HOF for a company that is just reaching his 5th year
Sting and Brodie Lee
Then just imagine that they have done in 5 years is unreal
With the new political field in wrestling, I think we could get a combined hall of fame for all wrestling
Sting one of my favorites of all time congratulations to him ❤️
Awesome Footage Denise Thank You Very much
I hope Sting starts a podcast like Taker!
Be cool if they do one together
Hell yes! Then they can go ahead and talk about having 1 match together lolol give us a cinematic match.
Tbh sting could actually be a legit great podcaster/internet personality with the charisma and humor he got. The voice just adds upto it too.
Conrad has probably called him 4,000 times already 😂😂🎉
Imagine telling wrestlers back in the day.."yea after you retire we want you to do a whole radio show talking bout your career and stories" times really have changed. I'm here for it I'm just saying.
First started watching Sting at 10 years old during his TNA years. Since then went back and watched the wcw stuff and earlier. Thank you for the memories Sting ❤
Truly a living legend
Thank you Sting for everything. Legendary career. Never be another one like you. Always will be Stinger at heart
Only watched revolution for stings send off.. but i might stick around for how they treated him in his last match.. proper send off.. tony got something right 👏👏
Thank you Sting 🦂 for all my wrestling good memories 😃
Dear Steve broaden congratulations on 39 years of wrestling career you inspired me thank you Sting and I will really miss you and goodbye and good luck with your life
Sting is my all time favorite wrestler. So happy he went out on top. I also became a big Darby fan after last night. Great performance and respect for that guy
The Legend the ICON STING Thank You so much for the Great memories
I saw Sting live at the Great American Bash in 1989. He wrestled Terry Funk. I was 10 years old. Funk hit him with a trash can and Sting fell on to guard rail and I got to pat him on the shoulder. One of the coolest memories of my childhood.
Thanks for sharing this presscon, Denise!
His TNA Run saved his Career!
Thank you Tony Khan for making Sting undefeated in AEW and for the great retirement show for the icon Sting.
Stings is a true icon, congratulations on a remarkable career. I really hope he makes appearances from time to time
I just love how tony khan is a fan first and owner second and a great big respectful fan at that.
We all as fans wish we were in his shoes
Choking up like that, love him
What a class act sting is. He is truly a legend. AEW did him right!
My favorite wrestler and my favorite part of wrestling. Sting you have been one of my favorite super heroes. Thank you for being a part of both of my childhood and adult life.
Sting is such an amazing wrestler and even a great actor when it comes to promos. Not too familiar with his WCW career since I first gotten into wrestling during Ruthless Aggression, but when I was introduced to TNA, that was when I was introduced to Sting. I remembered him with that promo segment he had with Hulk Hogan in the office (during the Immortal storyline), when he tossed all the office supplies and threaten Hogan and applying make up on him (which was the introduction to his Joker gimmick). Man, that was literally the best promo segment I ever seen. It sent chills down my spine!
For me this is one of the best interviews ever the reporter/fan wow a true fan ❤
StinG for "GENERAL MANAGER" 🔥🔥🔥
He literally just said he doesn't want to be a manager and all that shit. Come on dude
Tony needs help with creative writing
Thank you Sting 🖤🦂
Surfer Sting was so cool when I was a kid. Crazy how he went from Surfer to Crow.
Thank You ❤🙏 STING
What a career, such a great send off for the icon Sting 🦂
End of an era. Sting, thank you for all the great matches, etc. HOF in all companies.
Thank you Denise and everyone involved in this video being posted on you tube thank you.
Love you Sting 🦂
Tony did treat Sting best since WCW closed shop.
Wrestling will never again be like the 1990s and early 2000s. Thank you for the show Sting. Props.
Darby is incredible. I love that dude. His comments at 13:55 are spot on.
Took a shot at warrior. Ouch
Sting on commentary with Ross and Schiavone?? The two guys that has been with him most of his career.
Thank you Sting 🦂
Sting is awesome, I love his original persona and his crow persona
Thank you STINGER FOR 38 YRS OF WRESTLING GREATEST!!!!
Thank you Sting. From my earliest childhood coloring you bright neon crayons. To here now. Wow…. 🙏
Lov you Sting 🦂 Lov you Tony best wrestler, and then the best owner ever 🥰
Two matches really stands out in my mind with Sting. The last WCW match ever with Rick Flair and last nights match. I have watched Sting for a long time and he has always been my favorite wrestler. I hope Darby gets a major push!!
Also WWE did not treat STING right I am so very happy that AEW give Sting a great final match to his fantastic career 🎉😢🎉 I am sad not to see Sting anymore but me being 63 years old and Sting being 65 in great shape THANK STING
Thank you Sting
And Thank you Tony for doing what’s basically non existent in that world… the right thing!!
Glad Darby is okay. It must be so cool for him that Sting took him under his wing to mentor him.
Sting was and still is my superhero growing up
Undefeted congrats sting going to miss you bro
Sorry about your injury Darby Allin I felt them cuts on the glass all the way in the bleachers. Thank you Darby Allin from Wilson NC.

Yo like for real how is Darby still alive Darby is freaking awesome dude I love Darby Allen man this what pro wrestling is all about this what AEW is about Thank you Sting Wolfpack baby
Stiiiing🦂
Darby went to the handshake like "Please don't hug me, my back has exploded into a red mist."
Super happy Darby mentioned how Sting appeared during Covid and they took a chance. I will forever say you are one of the best wrestlers in the biz, truly a HOF pick. Embrace the love and your flowers Sting. Love, from the boy who met you after I dropped my ball cap in front of you
thank you STING I FIRST WATCHED sTING IN THE UWF!!!! KNEW RIGHT AWAY HE WAS GONNA BE A SUPERSTAR!! STING &RICK STEINER AND MY FAVORITE HOT STUFF EDDIE GILBERT
The WWE screwed sting and wanted to make him look bad
Agreed Triple H and Vince screwed him over!
@@jarrettreynolds4560 I think it was just a Payday run at the same time they don't want to make bigger Stars some other companies look bigger than their Stars
@@robdangripp9406Crazy considering Cody got all he could have asked for coming from AEW. Then again he was in WWE before and is Dusty's kid so maybe that's why.
@@davefarlow he probably had a better negotiation
Sting a true icon
What A Awesome Career My Brother in CHRIST. From day one ...I have been a fan and since the day you opened the door to JESUS you and I are family of GOD
🙏🏾❤️❤️❤️🙏🏾
Be awesome to meet you and share my testimony with you.
Hear praying with & 4 your family & you!
Great how you worked the past three years with Darby....May JESUS bless his journey in and out of wrestling! 🙏🏾❤️❤️❤️🙏🏾
I love how Darby gave Tony a look and he just shook his hand instead
Thank you Denise for posting these videos.
And WOW, just WOW. THIS is the last we'd see of Sting the wrestler, as a wrestler .AEW put on a magnificent send off, and I am glad that AEW resisted the old trope of having the legend lose their last match. We needed to see Sting win. Wrestlemania 31 was a missed opportunity with HHH, but AEW Revolution with the Young Bucks MORE than made up for it. Just an incredible night.
Also Denise always gets the best press conference footage. High five!
Sting is the last of the old guard!! Thank you sting for all the memories!! 🐐
the GOAT 🦂💚
The goat 🐐 it's ssttiinnnggg!
Darby was around for Muta's last match and Stings last match that's a really big deal wow
Sting is my childhood, the ultimate wrestler. Great man
is sting and darby allen going to relinguish the belts? a tagteam tournament coming up if they do or a tourny for stings belt if he hands it over
I love string
Sting had a memorable retiring moment he ever could have with wwe AEW knew how to do it the right way
Tony is like 🥹
Sting is like 🥹
Thank you Sting!!!
I just realized Sting is the only or at least one of the few wrestlers to have actually worked in most of the major wrestling companies WCW, TNA, WWE, and AEW
Vince McMahon couldn't put his ego aside to give Sting a great retirement run.
Too busy with Janel grant.
Exactly. And she ain't the only one.
Gonna be exciting seeing Darby go win some heavyweight titles
Been with since nwa sting. Thank you
Tony gets a lot of shit (from myself included) but he deserves huge credit for the way he handled and treated Sting
Thank you Sting! Get Tony another coffee cup. 😂
"What's my match?" -Darby "We'll talk about that later hahaha" -Tony that's kinda an issue Tony. Making matches without letting the participants know 😂 no wonder tensions are volatile backstage
😂😂😂😂😂
Can't wait to see Tony Cokes face when Sting returns to WWE and or TNA and has one or two last matches LOL
Ric flair style lol
Tony definitely gets brownie points in my boom for this proper treatment of sting
Sting would be a great comantator
I will miss you sting!😢
14:42 😭😭😭
Sting gonna stick around
Can Tony try to get the retired Undertaker to wrestle Sting at Wembley Stadium this year???
Can Undertaker be All In for that??
Awesome
