Totally right people that reload everytime you fire the brass stretches(nickel cases even worse ) and then you resize it to spec plays hell on the brass.probably a good idea to stick with the extreme penetrators ,save the 250 grain hardcast for the Ruger alaskan !
All the 10 mm I have so far are Springfield. I've never had one problem with them. Well with exception of it's almost $100 to make a magazine into a 22 round one. But aside from that you get what you pay for I guess. I want to get a Glock 29 to see how it reforms I hope it does not blow up in my hand
I think a lot of the kabooms we’ve seen with glocks are due to over pressured round or out of spec ammo. A lot of people can’t wrap their head around the fact that the Glock is designed to run the FBI spec ammo. Thankfully we have companies like KKM that make aftermarket barrels and other parts. I have a G40 with a little over 2k through it, 0 malfunctions and still going strong.
@@andrewjohnson6907I know right! Hk barrels can take ridiculously high overpressure...so can steyr who is Australian made. Glock is just not wanting to use better steel or machine processing
Have some firsthand experience with this in my G20 Gen 3, factory barrel is not fully supported. Once fired factory Blazer 180gr showed the glock smile at the case head, bought a KKM match grade barrel and zero bulge at the case head with the same factory Blazer ammo or my handloads in brass I’ve fired 4-6 times. I’ve been keeping chrono records for comparison between the factory 180gr blazer and my handloads and velocity is similar on the higher end of my loads. My close buddy blew up his glock 40, full case head seperation after multiple loading of brass. Broke his thumb when it grenaded, blew the mag into pieces and destroyed the frame/grip. All out of his unsupported factory G40 gen4 barrel.
I reload 10mm and just replaced the stock G20 barrel with a lone woof. I only load fmj or berrys with reduced powder because of the lack of a fmj. I’ll likely instead get the kkm because of all the articles I’ve read since getting the lone woof. I’ll arrive at the point: I decided to run through all my 10mm brass that I’ve reloaded and bulge busted after using my Glock barrel. Gonna start with new starline brass. Have you seen or heard of 10mm brass failing after use in kkm barrels or have the explosions resulted from Glock barrels and hot 10mm loads?
We need a study comparing G20 kabooms that were due to chamber weakness vs. overpressured factory/reload rounds. There's a lot of rumor and speculation, but not enough hard data publicly available.
All I know is there are some guns that, for whatever reason, seem to kaboom more often than others... and Glocks in anything other than 9mm are one of them.
I am sticking to the middle of the road when comes to reloading 10mm, also i weight every powder load to my 10mm, this is after my glock 40mos exploded using lehigh defense ammo, the 135 bullet traveling 1700 ft person, still have the half of box to remind me what can happen.
I've changed the recoil spring in my glock 29 to a 20 pound spring from glock store. It doesn't beat the frame up as bad now!! Definitely a difference!
As described in LWR video. A brass case is drawn to be created. This process leaves a thicker web and thinner wall. Most all semi auto pistols made today have UNSUPPORTED chambers. There is a portion @ the feed ramp that dosen't have "full support". Its part of the design! This design is relying upon the thicker web area to "seal off" the chamber. As we approach 40k we approach the limits of what that case can contain. A fully supported chamber is what you have in a rifle or ramped pistol barrel. Wish I was able to provide pictures here... but look at your AR thats fully supported.
If I need more power use a Super Redhawk in 10mm . I hear a lot of foolish comments that 10mm is loaded to S&W 40 spec = Bull $#!T ! Mid range 10mm is hotter than 40 S&W ... if you need more power get out the 44 or use a 610 or Ruger or T/C single shot ... they can take the STUPID rounds much better .
Great video! I have a few Glocks in 9mm and 45, but no 10mm yet in my collection. I've seen a lot of good reviews on the Glock 40 and I'm planning to buy one. But I was concerned about the "partially supported" chambers that Glocks are known for. Especially in a 10mm. It would be interesting to see the Glock smiley bulge on the fired cases, side by side with that of the S&W 10mm. And then, you could measure both the diameter around the bulge and the distance from the head which would tell you approximately how much unsupported chamber each barrel has.
It’s not just Glocks that have blown up. I’ve seen Taurus, Colt and Hk USP. 45 at my employer’s range blow up. Due to reloaded ammo and/or bullet set-back from chambering the same bullet over and over again.
had a blowout with my Delta Elite. The problem was the Blazer ammo. Luckily didn't harm me or the gun but destroyed the mag. Will never use Blazer ammo again
@@nightwolfv7541 All blazer. The bullets were moving back in the casing which caused higher pressures and then the blowout. It would've happened on the next round also if I would've continued shooting
@alllopez63 ah, bullet setback. I've never been a fan of Blazer, but technically all manufacturers' loads are susceptible to bullet setback when chambered even once. Of course some manufacturers are more susceptible than others, but the real determining factor in my opinion is the firearm itself. Some designs are much worse at causing setback in my experience.
I’m a big fan of sigs. I had a G20 but I sold it after 2 broken firing pins from consistently shooting Underwood hardcasts. I own a P226 and I love it! I’d love to get a P220 in 10mm but for that price, personally, I’d rather get more gun. Something like a Benelli M4.
@@ChukesOutdoorAdventures to be fair, it was a rockslide USA slide build that I put together myself and slapped it on a g21 frame. So it could very easily have been user error. I just contributed it to the super hot loads and eBay “OEM” upper internals.
I have 2 KKM bbls for my G23 Gen4 , one is a 40 s&w Match bbl and the other is a 357 Sig conversion bbl and the round seems to sit a tad deeper when I checked for that chamber support compared to the stock bbl ..
RE: smile I have a 2nt & 3rd gen never a smile , never a jam . I have a Kimber that is tighter & has Jammed . The only difference in the fired cases are the primer strike . I don't shoot +P or +P+ 10mm Horn , Win , Rem & home rolled .
I would do some research into which ammo company uses the thickest web/web profile and use that. Maybe he ammo companies have seen the smile/bulge danger issue and improved that area for their Premium/Defense/+P lines? Checked mine, the Glock has 1/16" to 3/32" unsupported and my 3.8 XDM Match barrel has a noticeable HALF as much 3/64"ish... Also, I think Nickel Plated brass will be stronger in that area based on the significant increase in effort to resize Nickel Plated when reloading my assorted rifle ammo... I know your "not supposed to" but I have been successful so-far and only reload with loads I've worked up in Std brass, and only neck size+bump shoulder if it was fired in MY chamber..And they're just for 'in the weather' or COLD hunting. Plated is nice and smooth in feeding and moving around in the magazine. The Nickel makes them more "slippery". I wonder if all the blown up pistols used bare brass or if any of the pics show a Plated round??? Hmmm!
I'm with'ya on this sir, I still like the kkm barrel tho. I'm sure the new 10mm is out now has some flaws. In time it'll reveal itself Hopefully nobody gets hurt whenever it happens
Honestly, id put money on the fact that most “blow outs” occur with reloaded ammo that is also loaded fairly hot. Fairly hot puts enough stress, but a reloaded case that has expanded and contracted has also thinned out the case wall in the reloading process. You put those two factors together and its understandable how you could have blow outs. I still believe they are few and far between. At least to me. I use aftermarket barrels in my glocks for anything reloaded or super hot anyway. My lonewolf and agency barrels get used if theres any doubts.
That is absolute bullshit and there is no science behind it. Only rifle brass does that and it still lasts dozens of reloads. The issue is reloaders using split cases and also companies like Underwood and Buffalo Bore that don't follow SAAMI. Stop blaming reloaders reloaded ammunition is far and away higher quality than factory garbage.
I'm a first time owner and I accidentally fired my Glock 43X it made two holes in my window and I never found the casing in my room. My wife is pissed and it sounded like an explosion.
The Joker in the deck that causes the guns to blow up may be the combination of 2 things at the same time, 1 an over charged round 2 cases that have been shot before And is now weeker, which is a no no with high pressure rounds , Carefully Reloading your ammo your self with only new brass,or pulling the bullets on a new box of ammo using a different powder you know and have tested and measuring and making sure you don't over load the Rounds, is the only way to know what you really have and can trust,
I’ve got the kkm barrel in mines. The only problem is if you need a barrel tomorrow, or next week, kkm isn’t for you homie. Lol. It seems that they make their barrels once ordered. I like that though. To me that means the qc should be better.
I seem a Glock 29 blow up at the range. Guy was putting 40S&W through it and when he actually put a 10mm in it, it blew. 40 sits too far back and had fouled up the front of the chamber.
Let’s get this straight you are touting the reliability of a firearm that might blow up, and after owning one that wouldn’t function reliably. On top of all that touting the design feature that directs a potential gun blow up down wards, now that’s a safety feature.
I would like to know how many rounds were fired through the barrel before it blew up the more bullets that are fired to that barrel that barrel's gonna really heat up make the metal soft which would make it easier to blow out if that's the case
Moral is not to reload brass fired from a glock barrel.I can see the difference when I compare my glock barrels with my other guns from different manufacturers and that was enough to give the fired brass a glock smile.Be careful when picking up brass in the shooting range.
I'm wondering about the commentors statements about over pressured rounds & that Glocks were designed for only milspec rounds. Does this mean the so called over pressure rounds were loaded beyond recommended hot 10mm loads? Does mil spec not cover established hot loads? Does this mean a Glock barrel was not designed to handle hot 10mm established book loads? Wish this would be explored more. I own a Glock 20 & dud replace the stock barrel with a KKM barrel and have not had any malfunctions with it so far but have yet to test it with the hottest 10mm loads.
You need to load your own ammo with new brass or pull all the bullets and measure the powder for each round because it only takes one to be over loaded, use unused brass only, because 10mm is a high pressure high powered load like the 357mag and the heat causes the cases to lose their temper and strength,
My Glock 20 Gen4 I shoot a heavy rounds I've had it for years I never had a problem any gun can have problems 1911's 10 mm Kimber Buda chamber right out it could happen with any gun especially if your hand loading
My current EDC is a Glock 29. I've heard these stories before, im recently becoming concerned about this issue. 😭😭 I love 10mm. I rely on G29, I don't consider any firearm I own as a range toy. I trust my life and the lives of my family on them. Personally my wife and family are not worth the risk to me.
This is not as common as before. I am no expert but I researched heavily before I bought my 20 and it would seem that they are three categories. One person I read was using s&b 10mm. I won't shoot their ammo. Some were when underwood ammo had an issue where they were and were messing up on their ammo, and making it way too hot. The third and biggest is people reloading. People don't wanna admit it, but seems to be the biggest issue. I just watched a video of someone shooting 10 running over 2000 fps, from a stock glock with no issues or kaboom. Have shot mine and never seen the bulged brass. People reloading the same brass over and over again, seems to be the issue. I wouldn't be concerned, if you shooting factory ammo. They had the same issue with the 40 cal glocks, and I carried one as my duty weapon and never had an issue. The new springfields triggers are breaking, my ronin 10mm is picky on ammo. If you want to carry a 10mm, glock is still the safest bet.
@It begins No offense but I'm not reading all that. I got about half way through but I got the point. I agree with you so far. That said my G29 is factory so I know full power hard cast is big NO NO. I usually run S&B which is basically 40cal at the range and for drills. For EDC I run nosler hollow point 180gr which is also a neutered loading. I'm certain it'll be safe. I also own a Springfield government model 1911 that I sent to Wilson Combat and had it reworked (it's my Elinor, my unicorn anniversary gift from wife) I run my true 10mm 220gr at 1200fps in it. It's Glocks downfall but I'm looking to get an aftermarket barrel so I can run full power hard cast. I also have already changed the sight for steel front night sight and u notched rear as well as a better trigger. This is my only true beef these days. Been carrying my 29 for years now and I'll admit it has never failed me. I also have a couple sigs and last year I picked up an HK P30sk and same thing if cleaned after shooting trips and they well maintained they two run flawlessly. My only gripe is that I have almost $1000 in my Glock I paid that much for my p30 and it was true perfection. Granted only reason I bought it was cause John Wick but it is far superior to any Glock. Only reason I hold on to my Glock is it's easy to conceal like my p30 or my sig 365 but 10MM. The whole Glock perfection narrative is misleading and IMO is false advertising.
I belive That very small area of exposed case is actually a safety, for hot rounds or blocked barrel. Rather than have barrel blow up it directs gasses down. Intentional or not it also adds in easy chamber. Look at modern bolt actions, they all have holes right and left through the chamber for just that. Im sure other manufactures have there share of blow ups also. And don't forget its a very very small percent. I'm sure cars, vacume cleaners, ect, all have there share of dangers to. Glkc may be the safest?.
If you're gonna fire hot ammo, upgrade the barrel. Hell,... upgrade the trigger as well. Go for broke on a glock. This gun is gonna run for a long time. Give yourself the best advantage, especially if you're using it to defend your life.
I dont own a 10mm pistol but it is a consideration as I see Grizzly Bear often. I currently carry an Auto Ordnance 1911 45ACP+P-45 Super and have handloaded cast PCd 200gr to 1150fps and 255gr to 950fps and feel its not bad self defense as it stands. That said if I DID buy a 10mm I think I would want it on the 1911 platform for all the reasons you say get the Glock - I think the 1911 was the first design to blow an over pressure load out the magazine first, and the barrel is fully supported. Also a steel frame vs. polymer seems to be best for absorbing recoil and extra strength not to mention custom wolff springs in many different weights for it. I think more after market parts are made for 1911s in any caliber than other pistols....so tell me if I'm misunderstanding the value of a better platform for 10mm than a 1911....
I carry 10mm in black bear country, i don't have any experience with brown bears but if i was expecting to encounter them i would likely take a 12 gauge with at least 7rd capacity, loaded with slugs. As far as 1911s go, my unloaded delta elite weighs the same as my fully loaded glock 20 with 180gr bullets. As long as the glock doesn't blow up in the first 8 shots you'll be better off than with a 1911, i wouldn't expect to get a mag change in during a bear attack.
I thought that also till I got a Kimber , it needed a tune up out of the box , so far it works OK now , I trust the glock More . The added weight ?? the kimber had MORE felt recoil ... I also thought it would be more acc .. so far not ! I may not have the ammo it likes ? the Gl is match accurate . The Kimber may get More Vel ?? I never tested it for that ?? That said I like them both . If SHTF I grab the G 20 every time over all other choices .
@@danoneill2846 felt recoil has to do with the recoil spring also. The slower the slide is traveling when it reaches full rearward travel the lighter the recoil. Changing recoil springs can greatly affect reliability though.
WTF, glocks blow up because they're super reliable, seconds later tells the story about the glock he got rid of because it wasn't reliable at all... I'm glad I went with a Springfield.
Thanks for the video, I witnessed a Kaboom at my local range which is why I want the M&P to work. From what I witnessed the guy was having difficulty getting a 40 S&W round to chamber so he did something stupid and forced it....the results were the same as the pictures in your video. He wasn't hurt bad (barely broke the skin and had some tingling) and it blew up the mag and out the side. The case ruptured and the slug logged in the barrel. He said they were factory rounds.
I saw the same thing were someone forced a 40s&w into a kimber 1911. He had his ammo mixed up, I can't remember what it was chambered in original, but that gun blew into more pieces then a lego set. Guy was fine, but he definitely shit himself
Some one would really have to show me proof/evidence that any pistol that explodes is not ammo related. Either hand loads or defective factory ammo. I'm not saying that Glock is infallible. I know the very early Glock 30's in .45 had a very few loading ramp separations. But that was addressed by Glocks redesign. They radialized the area between the barrel and the feed ramp. Most kabooms can be traced to over pressure loads or squibs that lodge a projectile in the barrel. I'm not a fanboy, I'm saying all firearms manufacturers have bad guns get out. But good manufacturers have excellent quality control. Ammo is always the first suspect. That and abuse/neglect/table top gunsmiths.
Yeah...the exploding Glock is a red herring. I've never heard of an instance where the gun blew-up due to a manufacturing defect. It was always because of an over-pressure round. You can't blame the gun for not handling out-of-spec ammo. I agree with Chuke that it's better that it directs the blast away from the shooter's face. If you want a gun that's bomb-proof, I'd go with a steel frame 1911. Maybe with a cold-hammer forged barrel.
There is one time from what I found where a guy got a super hot round in a box of s&b and had a kaboom. Still wasn't the guns fault, I seen the same thing happened with a glock 19
@@andog6092 I do feel for the people who lose their Glock that way. It's still a lousy way to end up having to buy a new pistol. Sig just introduced their P320 X10. James reviewed it on TFB TV RUclips channel. It looks really nice.
It's not the Glocks fault. It's the ammo's fault. Everyone's pushing the little 10mm trying to make it something it isn't. The pressure some of these companies are loadingit to is beyond ridiculous. I love the 10mm Norma Auto whatever. I have Glocks and Tanfoglios in 10mm. It's fucken awesome I love it, but It's never gonna be a 41 Magnum. It doesn't need to be not with todays bullets. Even with old school bullets. All that extra pressure isn't making a difference
Sooo...just use properly loaded ammuntion in a factory or high quality barrel. I don't see how this is an issue; any gun will blow up if the charge is incorrect. I avoid issues like this by using Federal or other high quality ammunition. Any time I'm unsure, I use a factory barrel and ammuntion that is below SAAMI maximum with a copper jacket. One cannot go wrong with a Glock doing this. Clearly, after market barrels need to be researched ... or ... just use KKM drop in (or any other high end well know make). Cheaping out is silly. While there is always the chance of overcharge with any cartridge, I noticed that every failure I've had was from my own reloaded ammunition. For example I spilled 2/3 of a charge and slapped a bullet on top of it anyway. I didn't notice until the end when I saw the powder on the table during clean up. I didn't think too much of it and the bullet lodged in the barrel 1/3 in. That was tough to get out! Many shooters suck at reloading. They pay minimal attention while reloading or change the loads beyond the book. I find it astounding that people do this, but gun owners gonna "gun own-ah." Too many people suck at shooting too. But if you ask them, it sounds like they're right up there with Robbie Leatham and Jerry!
My Glock 23 Gen 4 barrel is fully supported, these type of failures can happen regardless if the barrel regardless unsupported or not. Last Kaboom I seen happened to a Kimber 1911 45 ACP firing factory ammo and unfortunately when it happens to you it sucks big time!
Most all kabooms can be traced back to reloaders using cases with split case mouths or over loading cuz they don't pay attention. Also Undewood, Buffalo Bore, and other companies that don't comply with SAAMI.
Great video! I'm planning on going to Alaska next March and I'm taking my new Glock 20, which I was lucky enough to get one. I bought the G9 Woodsman rounds which they seem to have good ballistics. I remember you made a video about them but I'd like to know if it is something you recommend against bears. Thank you and God bless!
So, what youre saying is that glock in theory is kind of like comparing the ak47 to an ar15? What you are saying is basically the same reason i also prefer the ak. Drop it in the mud…..it fires, freeze it……it fires, etc Neither are the most accurate or the best “finished”, but they both just work.
Glocks are not more reliable than anything else mainstream out there, It may have been at one point in time but not anymore. S&W M&P, XD/XDM, CZ, HK, SIG. There are plenty of brands out there. Most are better than Glock now.
The Glock g20 blows up when normal full power 10mm ammo is used. Glock recommends the cheapest most underpowered range ammo available. Real 10mm fits but you can't use it. Glock should have simply stuck to making those 9mm pea-shooters. They are perfectly safe as long as crappy ammo is used. I wonder sometimes if I am safer behind or in front of my g20 sf gen3. Either get hit with a weak round or get my face blown up with shrapnel
Let's hear you say that when an F Glock blows up in your had F that! I had a 40 cal Glock 22 great weapon. I'll go with a Springfield XDM. In combat I rather have a stove pipe jam than the weapon exploding in my hand. I can see why automatic pistols never took off until 1990. What a shame!
I haven't heard of this in awhile. It was a concern when I bought my 10mm. After hours of research, I heard the issue with underwood over loading ammo, I heard one story about someone who was shooting factory s&b ammo. Seemed had an over powered load, which I have seen happen in 9mm before. Seemed that like 90 percent of the blow outs were people who loaded the same brass over and over again. I always check a few of my spent shells when I shoot, never seen any sign of issues with the brass. 10mm is my new addiction and I am new to 10mm, and am on my third, glock 20,29sf, and a ronin 10mm. I actually like my 1911 more, but it is finicky with ammo, the new springfield elite is having issue with the hinge in the trigger breaking and the weapon becomes completely useless. The m&p seems to be having issues as well, unless the xten is amazing, it seems that glock is the best bet for carrying a 10mm
Underwood is full power 10mm.. and is not " over loaded". The fact is almost all big mfg neuter their 10mm to what amounts to 40sw performance. But feel free to keep vomiting nonsense.. underwood and buffalo bore have carved a good niche out because they load ammo to spec vs the big guys loading 180 grain 10mm to 1050 fps
Glock exploding ?Idid not know they were combustable? what material are they made of Chuke? Have never seen a pistol or rifle explode I HAVE SEEN AMMO DO IT in the heat or being dropped. GOOD U tube people.
Chuke, pretty sure you will find obvious unsupported chambers in Gen 1 and 2 Glock 22/23. I'm fairly certain this has been improved in later Gen but the internet rumor mill has not caught up. Thanks for all that you do.
When a company is at the top of the food chain people will come up with anything to bring a dark cloud over them. Does problems occur yes they do. They happen with all man made products. When a company produces 1 million whatever a year things will happen. I would put some of the blame on the ammo manufacturers and the owners of the guns as well.
You can see the unsupported areas reflected on the fired brass (ie Glock smile bulge). Recommend examining/comparing brass fired from each.

@@nightwolfv7541 All blazer. The bullets were moving back in the casing which caused higher pressures and then the blowout. It would've happened on the next round also if I would've continued shooting
Same thing in my delta elite, except double tap ammo in my case.
I read on here that if you DO NOT CLEAN the LEAD from the POLYGONAL barrels it builds up & problems start.
Thanks for sharing Chuke.
I would argue the p220 legion 10mm is the best. Unfortunately not the capacity
That’s an awesome pistol!!
@@wesleymorris6519 woah! Never heard of the firing pins breaking on them!
@@ChukesOutdoorAdventures to be fair, it was a rockslide USA slide build that I put together myself and slapped it on a g21 frame. So it could very easily have been user error. I just contributed it to the super hot loads and eBay “OEM” upper internals.
@@ChukesOutdoorAdventures I own the P220 Legion in 10mm. I've never had a problem with it.
I have 2 KKM bbls for my G23 Gen4 , one is a 40 s&w Match bbl and the other is a 357 Sig conversion bbl and the round seems to sit a tad deeper when I checked for that chamber support compared to the stock bbl ..
Thank you, my left ear really enjoyed this video 🙂
RE: smile I have a 2nt & 3rd gen never a smile , never a jam . I have a Kimber that is tighter & has Jammed . The only difference in the fired cases are the primer strike . I don't shoot +P or +P+ 10mm Horn , Win , Rem & home rolled .
I have a 40 I have not done enough shooting & testing to make a call on that , I bet it is 100% !!
I'll take a fully supported chamber! I'd rather have a jam than lose my hand.
Hmmm!
My guess would be that if you blew up a Glock....that likely there was a barrel obstruction.
I'm with'ya on this sir, I still like the kkm barrel tho. I'm sure the new 10mm is out now has some flaws. In time it'll reveal itself Hopefully nobody gets hurt whenever it happens
Spent 5 days in the hospital with the hand surgeon operating on my finger blue my finger off very painful
I bought some chamber of checkers from egw and will check all my reloads can't have any flaws
Try this again shine some light up the barrel
The earlier barrels were not fully supported, Glock has changed that a long time ago. My G20 was manufactured in 2011 and it is fully supported.
That's why I don't shoot hand loads in my Glock. I guess I'm just trusting the factory loads to be not too hot.
I'm a first time owner and I accidentally fired my Glock 43X it made two holes in my window and I never found the casing in my room. My wife is pissed and it sounded like an explosion.
Great video, would like to see the same test with the FN and M&P barrels.
The Joker in the deck that causes the guns to blow up may be the combination of 2 things at the same time,
1 an over charged round
2 cases that have been shot before
And is now weeker, which is a no no with high pressure rounds ,
Carefully Reloading your ammo your self with only new brass,or pulling the bullets on a new box of ammo using a different powder you know and have tested and measuring and making sure you don't over load the Rounds, is the only way to know what you really have and can trust,
My Glock 20, 29, and 40 with the Alpha Wolf barrel and McNally trigger is 👍👍! Underwood 180/200XTP, 200HC and Sig VCrown 180 is 👍👍!
I haven’t seen any bulging on my 40cal. But i did buy the Lee .40 cal bulge case die. But i haven’t seen any difference. Love the video brotha!
Right! This whole video is a glock fan boy telling us how good a blown up gun is.
That’s your take on this ? Fan boy ?
Get a life
this whole video was an oxymoron. he knows NOTHING about internal ballistics, wiggle room, microns?
Yeah it's more important for like a 45 super conversion
I would like to know how many rounds were fired through the barrel before it blew up the more bullets that are fired to that barrel that barrel's gonna really heat up make the metal soft which would make it easier to blow out if that's the case
Three thousand million, that is a lot lol good stuff! At the end of the day, it's hard to beat a Glock!
Put layout bluing on the whole case and fire it
Moral is not to reload brass fired from a glock barrel.I can see the difference when I compare my glock barrels with my other guns from different manufacturers and that was enough to give the fired brass a glock smile.Be careful when picking up brass in the shooting range.
Love my kkm Barrel works perfect with Factory ammo very precise
Hmmm, let’s see… what do I think? I think that CHUUUUKE!!!
The kkm barrel I bought longer and it works great but jams with reloads actually they don't go into the chamber
I put a kkm Precision barrel and it won't feed a Reload if there's the slightest thing in it
Build you one of those polymer 80 10mm the frames are way better than the original glock frames
@It begins
No offense but I'm not reading all that.
I love how you say you aren’t reading all that then you reply with an even longer one lmao
@@geordan4951 nah fr like imma read ALL THAT😭😂
I belive That very small area of exposed case is actually a safety, for hot rounds or blocked barrel.
My kkm Precision Barrel is awesome with Factory ammo but it doesn't do well with reloads
BTW I still love the Kimber & 10mm I think the plastic frame sucks up recoil ??
@@danoneill2846 felt recoil has to do with the recoil spring also. The slower the slide is traveling when it reaches full rearward travel the lighter the recoil. Changing recoil springs can greatly affect reliability though.
@@RealDeanWinchester Yep many factors go into felt recoil .

Yay for Chuke !!!!!
👊💥"Glocks☆Rocks N' Roll"💥🤟
lol 😅
KkM Barrel is very precise and precision but there's no slop and some rounds don't chamber
Good info chukes outdoor adventure
Does the wiggle of the round inside of the camber is normal?
It's not the Glocks fault. It's the ammo's fault. Everyone's pushing the little 10mm trying to make it something it isn't. The pressure some of these companies are loadingit to is beyond ridiculous. I love the 10mm Norma Auto whatever. I have Glocks and Tanfoglios in 10mm. It's fucken awesome I love it, but It's never gonna be a 41 Magnum. It doesn't need to be not with todays bullets. Even with old school bullets. All that extra pressure isn't making a difference
I would agree if Glock hadn't had 40 Smith and Wesson pistols fail as well.
That's correct ...
10mm will never be a 41mag it doesn't beat the 357mag in power.
Yeah man, for self defense semi-automatics, Glock is king 💪
Don't loan your guns one friend with his skinny ass fingers the firing pin flew out of my Kimber
I have a stock Factory barrel and a kkm to trust your life I would use the factory Glock Barrel
I find it astounding that people do this, but gun owners gonna "gun own-ah."
Too many people suck at shooting too. But if you ask them, it sounds like they're right up there with Robbie Leatham and Jerry!
Should i get a KKM comp for my glock 20 or a 7 inch KKM barrel?
10:39 That's where that indentation comes from.Kalocolloquially stated as the glock smile.😊
So, what youre saying is that glock in theory is kind of like comparing the ak47 to an ar15? What you are saying is basically the same reason i also prefer the ak. Drop it in the mud…..it fires, freeze it……it fires, etc
Neither are the most accurate or the best “finished”, but they both just work.
How about those Springfield XDM 10 mm's that went through the extensive testing.
They seem to be very reliable. I’ve never had one malfunction
What happened to xd in 10mm in 4 inch, over 5 inch models. I do not see them.
Quietly discontinued, rumor is they will update and rerelease
Glocks are not more reliable than anything else mainstream out there, It may have been at one point in time but not anymore. S&W M&P,
XD/XDM, CZ, HK, SIG.
Oh hey for some reason there's no audio for the first five minutes of the video.
Woah!
😁 "Glock Smile" 😁
Almost every time I've let a friend shoot my gun they break it
Just curious have you ever tried a kimber
It is NEVER a good thing...ever. I'm amazed that someone could feel good making a video with this title.
Doh! Yeah XDMs are hard to beat…
Glocks never blow up when you don’t use crazy hot loads!!!!! 🤦♂️ they were designed for the old nato standard which is between +P & +P+ !!!!!
Just buy a KKM barrel and it will eat up the smith and Wesson
I abuse my G20 with hot loads and had no issues. Glock owners tend to abuse their guns more.
Lone Wolf barrels are great. Lone Wolf logo is childish crap. Lone Wolf charges more for logoless barrels. Evil genius 👏
Buffalo bore baby. It's a polymer gun not a super blackhawk.
No plastic fantastic 10mm for me
Nope don't care XDM/Gluck/Smith/HK even my 22lr handguns are alloy minimally
Chuck sabotaging you?!?! Nah....
Chuke, you are wrong. Take a couple hot underwoods and shoot them then put a caliper on the case.
When a company is at the top of the food chain people will come up with anything to bring a dark cloud over them. Does problems occur yes they do. They happen with all man made products. When a company produces 1 million whatever a year things will happen. I would put some of the blame on the ammo manufacturers and the owners of the guns as well.
