I have three highlands 2 heifers and a young bull. I was the guy that told you to throw Hamish in the back seat and bring him over so my older one could breed with him. I have had probably 20 people that like to stop by and brush them and give them apples. I don't let them go in the fence just in case. You know sometimes people do stupid things and Clover is about 1200 pounds a kick from her and my place could end up being someone else's. They neither one has even acted like they would but you never know and if I'm brushing Ruby or Buford Clover gets jealous and moves them . So I try to maybe be more careful than I should be. These highlands are so amazing tho.
A little of both… Highland cattle are generally docile cattle, but the sheer amount of time that I spend with these guys makes them even more so then your typical Highland
I much prefer videos of you with the animals....you have a calming and interesting way about you.....that goes away completely with as lol these anxious city dwellers creating a petting zoo. Miss your demeanor and very special interactions. Hope you've been well.
Marc showed her how to brush the cow, still she did it her way. Tolerated the goings on until 7:30 and was DONE! I know she is a child, but tum. . .I'm going to shut up here for whatever I type is going to appear hostile. And to some degree it is. Country Folk are underpaid and grossly underappreciated!

After the 4th of July, the rest of the year just slips away. Love listening to cows rip and chew grass. Brings back my childhood. God Bless !
