So very sorry to hear about Kathy, I hope her husband and family will be ok. So happy Ziggy was her gift to you some years back, and has a loving home.
It's one of those things about life, we have so little time when you really get down to it. And sometimes, even that little bit of time gets shortened, for ourselves and for others we know. Having owned quite a few dogs, and also having lost a significant number of human friends and family - it's a very hard thing to accept when time is up, sometimes. I have always found that to be particularly acute with dogs - they live such short lives - as soon as you really get to know them, they're getting ready to leave. Well, I believe we will all wind up in a better place one day, hopefully, remaining on our best behavior, etc etc. We have to be thankful for time we are given with other people and with animals, and some would say with plants as well. We do not control time.
Pancreatic cancer is a horrible disease. I'm very sorry for the loss of your friend, Marc. Condolences to her husband Mike as well. Wishing all who grieve Kathy's loss love and comfort.
So sorry to hear that. Pancreatic cancer doesnt have to be lethal. My brother-in-law had it 15+ years ago, got half of it removed and the cancer never came back. Anyway stay strong and positive. All the best to you.
@@TheTandumbs Yes it is possible. I know it doesnt help Kathy much, or her friends and family, but maybe the knowledge can relieve some anxiety somewhere else.
I'm sorry to hear about your friend Kathy. I went through this exact thing, a very close childhood friend and I went separate ways as we got older. We ran into each other at a gas station, got each other's numbers and hung out a few times catching up on how each of us were doing. Unfortunately I had gotten sober years before, they had not and it wasn't a healthy choice to stay in contact after that. Five years later, I ran into one of his closest friends that I also knew and he informed me that my friend died. Their drug use caused them heart issues and that's what caused their death. I understand the sudden empty feeling and shock of losing someone. I'm sorry you lost your friend ❤
So sorry to hear about your friend Kathy. I hope you will be comforted by fond memories, and by knowing how lucky you were to have shared part of your journey in life with such a good friend. ❤
Mark, I’m so terribly sorry to hear about your friend. Pancreatic cancer is one of the worst ones and that sneaks up on people and by the time you know you’ve got it it’s too late. I’ve lost a couple of friends to it myself. It’s wonderful that Siggy was given to you by her and that get to enjoy him, along with her memory. Take care.
So very sorry to hear of the loss of your friend please if possible let her family know so many people are thinking of them, thankfully her suffering is over and I believe she is such a wonderful beautiful peaceful place now
