Just nine months into my violin journey and my appreciation for this instrument keeps growing by the day. I'm frustrated that I didn't learn sooner but grateful that I have the opportunity to learn now. I'm currently reading 'Conversations with Menuhin', I recommend this to everyone-it contains lessons in life and music.
How nice!! And I needed that. You play so beautifully. They are a little out of focus, but is that 2 Skye boats I see hanging on the wall behind you? Very neat!! Thank you!!!
Listening to double-stops is a great recommendation for someone who has been trying to hear music a long time and still cannot hear chords or multiple melodies.
My mother used to sing this to me when I was young back in the 50's. Brings tears to my eyes.
That is beautiful!

I’m a 50 year old man and am just 2 months into my journey. I have no music experience.
I’m 63 & began playing roughly a year ago and having great fun doing so.
