The first battery-electric AMG production model is based on the Mercedes EQ architecture for luxury and executive-class vehicles. It thus fits seamlessly into the Group-wide electric strategy. The luxury saloon with an output of up to 560 kW has been newly developed or refined in Affalterbach in all performance-related areas. Details about the Mercedes Benz 2022 EQS53 AMG for PetrolHeads:
It’s equipped with a 560 kW two permanently agitated synchronous motors (PSM) which produces 1020 Nm of torque & 761 HP.
2022 EQS53 AMG 0-100 km/h (62mph) can be reached in 3.8 seconds!
The top speed VMAX is electronically limited to 250 km/h (155mph)

EQS seats not as comfortable or plush like the s class, no long wheel base with the eqs for extra comfort.

@@mr.benz - I don't know what you mean by regulations in your reply. I love your intro with the beautiful sound of the AMG engine. I'm saying that since the near future will comprise of mainly EVs and therefore no more beautiful engine sounds, you'll have to update your intro.

It is a truly gorgeous interior. The Mercedes uber luxury style we've come to love since the W222 S-Class.

Spectacular, super .bravo really nice, different and elegant sports car, now it has to be at least as an option in almost all the models of the brand, and at a reasonable price ... that other manufacturers take note. especially tesla with the model 3 and that shabby ugly and boring dashboard without a dashboard to save costs and reduce quality, ..
Europe will buy 53 but Canada, Australia, The US will buy EQS 450+

It would be good to know if that central screen in the centre has a way of dimming itself for night driving. For those of us that have sensitive eyes at night... it would be much beneficial
Yes, you can set the brightness for the ambient colors and the displays. I didn't do so you guys can clearly see it ;)
@@mr.benz its a beautiful car. My mate bought a much older Mercedes and I can see they are built Tight. Even the door handles have no loose play on an older car. Memory foam or something under the interior liner.... tapping the cars exterior metal you can hear the thickness of the metal exterior. Everything is solid and built to last. Bit of a monologue and off the topic of your car but I'm impressed by Mercedes
At this point they might as well make make the infotainment screen suitable for gaming and for playing media materials and put a wifi connectivity on it
