This video is 2 years old and only has 6 comments, I find that more interesting than the content.

As the late Cilla Black once said about one of these restaurants "Too much on the bill and not enough on the plate."

I've eaten at all of these except for Araki. Sadly, Le Gavroche has closed. Yes they are very expensive, but they were also once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Restaurant Gordon Ramsey is the best restaurant meal I've ever had. A caution with Core, the menus can be very experimental, and not to everyone's taste.

I have a feeling that I spend something like 150 to 200€/person and leave hungry, but while eating, I have to pretend that everything is absolutely bloody marvelous😄🙃
Some use the term: Once in a life experience. Who needs twice?!!😂

None of these beat little family restaurants off the beaten track in the French countryside. Maybe the carpets are not as plush, the waiters not as posh, but the quality and taste of the (yes, simpler) food tower about the both pretentious and fairly bland offerings in the two establishments I have been to: The Berkeley and the Connaught, although admittedly quite a few years ago. But then, I can make the same comments about similarly snobbish restaurants in France too: For the eyes much more than for the palate...

The constant interruptions during the video as though this were pre-edited preview was very annoying. Could not complete the video😔

When there’s not real food nor a basic concept of good food I guess all these basic food become classy and luxurious. It’s a total scam. They design the restaurant perfectly and provide excellent service however the food is so basic and they cover it with ridiculous plate design as if a scientist is working on a complicated matter.its absurd.
