Hey everyone, Thankyou so much for the support on the videos every week. Each video keeps getting more and more support it’s getting crazy. Really appreciate you all sharing and watching every week
Hey Harrison an idea maybe hard to pull off but if you’re able to do comparisons of private London golf clubs restaurants… I’m sure there’s a way in without a membership ie being a plus one with someone… to be honest I’m not sure how many there are in London… but be interesting to see seeing how much the membership is and the waiting lists are for some and how the restaurant really is for the price….use to work in one that’s why I’m curious. Anyway just an idea
I live in Las Vegas NV (USA) and I have a pretty high expectation for buffets. And next time I jump the pond I will be making reservations for this establishment.. thanks for posting..
I was expecting it to be far more expensive. Our local chip shop is now over £30 for fish for 2. Not even close to the quality of what you’re eating here. Eating out in substandard takeaways has gotten so expensive that high end food like this seems a lot cheaper now. Cost of living has changed the game!
@@TayWoode south east, cod on its own is often £15 now! Large chips is £8 round here. Not even decent fish and the oil is always manky. Tried a few but given up now.
£65 plus 20% service charge on weekdays p/p. The staff make you feel very welcome and dont treat you any different. I was nervous i would stick out, but it was brilliant. Drinks are expensive, £20 for a single gin and lemonade.
Every plate you brought back to the table kept getting better and better 😍 also the lighting and the whole aesthetic of the place was so nice for a buffet!
I’ve been waiting for a person who reviews food who I genuinely like as a person and I’ve known you for so long I just found this I’m soooo pumped why is watching food reviews so fun???
I believe he just quoted the Italian Chef Gino in one of the cooking shows where he said this to an American lady for comparing pastas of the two countries 😊
Hey Harrison, you have been a recent RUclips discovery. Happily subscribed, thoroughly enjoying your past videos and now look foward to the new ones. This one was fantastic! Sending you lots of love from Australia.
@@HarrisonWebb97 Same here, discovered you today, described after the third video. I love your enthusiasm for the food and your food comparisons. Just perfect, keep up the good work! Also I enjoyed your friends face while he was eating, there is something special about a "surprising good food smile", you cant fake that. By the way, I started to appreciate a good waiter so much. I guess, you had a very good one. A good waiter makes you feel comfortable. You and your friend may feel a little wrong at the fancy and posh place, the waiter made you feel welcome. Greetings from Germany!
Just found your channel today. We've been "binge watching" your videos all afternoon. I can almost taste the foods, just from your descriptions! (and, yes, I subscribed right off the bat)
I like how each dish being served was served by a chef that is the nationality of where the dish is from 😂 Sushi, the chefs were japanese Italian the chefs were italian Indian the chefs were indian Just fantastic 👌🏼
Tip: the reason Mark Wiens is the King of all food channels is because of his portrayal of the food itself. Very clear and close up footage of every single dish. So important if you want to get into the top 10 eats channels. This coupled with your great personality would be a right up there.
Went there a few times about 20 years ago when it first opened at £25 per person. The place doesn't look like it has changed much. The food is outstanding.
Just discovered your channel Harrison What a ridiculously charming fellow you are - and a passionate, witty foodie I'm a theatre director and filmmaker based in the US and a great lover of the UK and London and visit as often as possible Fantastic buffet - reminds me of the high end Vegas buffets but with much better surroundings and you don't have to be in Las Vegas Really glad to find you on here - look forward to catching up with all your other vlogs Cheers!
Went there for Sunday lunch; food was the best I ever had. The service from the staff exceptional. Had to be careful not to get a food coma for the drive home.
Great, good quality food. I thought the price would be outrageous but it was good value for what you get. Thumbs up 👍🏾 from me. I may go there for my birthday 👌🏾
This place looks great!! Heres some ideas for videos: Cooking recipes from Big Cook, Little Cook (if you know, you know!) Go camping for a night and test those MRE's/ heat to eat camping packs. Go to a local petrol station/off license and you can buy 5 items to make a gourmet meal.
Your Down to Earth! that's really cool of you as even the staff are equals in your character... Food is Michelin Star Quality.. I normally do not like Buffets as too many hand touch the serving implements.. but this place is 5Star
Been there before, I vaguely remember it was 65 quid with 20% service change, that alone is fine, reasonable even, I bet that place make it by selling drinks, drinks are really expensive, and no, not just alcohol, even standard stuff is exorbitant. All that being said, minus traveling there is a little bit annoying, it is a very good experience, honestly I think you should stick to drinking water too, quality of food is good enough to justify not letting your drink to change its flavor.
Dude, I came across your video and subscribed. I really enjoy your sense of humor and personality. Even though you have a British accent and I’m not really into the Brits, I am American and you seem more American than British just with your humor and style. Anyways, thanks for a great food review at a nice London buffet.
I’m booked to go with friends in October. Can’t wait! Another great video although not in London which is probably why the price is a bit more reasonable. Have you been to the Ned Hotel in London? which I think is the most expensive at £100 a pop and add another £65 per head for free flowing champagne!
Looks fresh and high quality restaurant style and a lot of choice and nothing like a vegas style buffet where the focus is carbs done twelve ways with fried food.
I remember visiting the Grove several times when it was aBritish Rail management training centre! It was always good there but don’t remember it being quite so plush!
Ah, The Grove, London's country house. Been to many many conferences there and stayed on breaks with the wife as well. The Glasshouse buffet is simply unbelievable, the quality, the variety, the service, the staff. There is simply nothing like it. Bargain price to boot.
This place is local to me. They have some wicked deals on Red Letter Days including experiences such a Axe Throwing/Archery/Spa Treatments before the Buffet. My husband is from Vegas and really misses the Buffets. Maybe Santa can help in that regard.
I used to live in the UAE where brunch was a ''thing'' and have sampled bottom end to high end, the best one we found was one that had the live cooking stations, scallops, foie, wagyu etc and all in was around £85 a head, had one that was nearly £200 a head and was one of the worst.....so £65 during the week for what was on offer is stunning value - the key is having items cooked to order and being very selective as to what you have. Caviar was mentioned but not tried which was a shame
Australia We have a restaurant chain called Jaylianos here in Brisbane (capital of Queensland). $40-60AUD. All you can eat buffet. Not as high end in quality or variety as the Crown, UK but less expensive. Less expensive but not so much once you’ve paid the return airfare to get here 😊

Totally agree- for the variety and quality it is definitely reasonable! When 2 small pizzas cost me $45 in the states- I’d much rather this buffet!
