After trying with a few qi chargers like in your video it only worked with the one without fast charge. Unfortunately mine started overheating right after it started charging, but you proved a point and I really appreciate it. Thanks a lot for your video. Keep them coming!

QI wireless chargers can charge at several different levels. 5/7.5/10 and 15watts (latest). But only the more expensive ones support all charge levels at once. (like, a $20 charger).
I'm assuming the older Samsung charger worked because it supports the 5 watt standard and the watch won't charge unless the charger can supply a 5 watt charge level.

Great job but the Qi Chargers from the Anker, Belkin and RavPower is missing here.

The coils are far too large for induction to work. The coils need to be matched to the watch size for this to work. The Galaxy phones have coils for larger and smaller together in side device. If you've ever seen the inside of a Galaxy phone that supports Qi charging, you will see the coil component designed for both sizes in one.

Which Samsung "Puck" charger are you using? I have one that looks identical but it flashes red/blue. It's a Samsung fast charger with the micro USB block
it's an OG from years ago. Samsung gave it to me with the S7 I believe. the model # is EP-PG920IBUGUS

yes it can be used, but it's not going to fast charge it. it'll still take about 2 hours to charge from 20%
Can the Galaxy Watch Active charger (the little one with the disk) charge a regulat 46mm or 42mm Galaxy Watch?

every block i used was a fast charger. in regards to doing the watch active puck for something else. As far as i know you cant

I no longer have a Galaxy watch active but I can assure you that it does indeed work. I used to charge my active on the back of my s10 when I was done working out, id leave it charging on the back of the s10 in the locker while I was showering
it works everytime.
you just need to center the watch back on the phone back.

I tried this today while I was at work i tried charging my active 2 on the wireless charging pad and it didn't work.

Will not charge on the Samsung old pad even though it was charging it, it will get hot and stop charging from the pad. Use either dou pad or the original charger.
I'm giving it a go from the video but thanks for this feedback I will keep an eye on it in case it gets hot and may have to buy one after all

for the past few months I've been using the Samsung dual wireless charger EP-P4300TBEGUS
The key is which is faster on. Like for my galaxy I used a pixel stand and when it takes 40 mins longer to fully charger than when wired in. When battery v low. Which port gives the same efficient output for both phone and watch. As I can wire into the watch.
Right now being connected directly via hardwire is always going to be a faster solution to charge for a phone but obviously with the watches it's hit or miss I have one of the newer Samsung dual chargers and I noticed that it definitely charges my watch slower compared to the puck wireless charger that comes to watch.

I just bought a pair of TOZO T-12 earbuds and a separate TOZO charging pad.
Can anyone explain why the TOZO earbuds (in their case) will happily charge on the Samsung watch pad but the Samsung watch will NOT charge on the TOZO pad?

When I use the puck with my gear s3 frontier the light on the puck just pulsates and doesn’t stay solid
Edit: I switched to using a Samsung brick for the puck and now the plate stays solid red with pulsating blue and there is still no sight of my gear s3 frontier turning on

ya you won't have any issues but keep in mind you also won't get faster speeds

the stock watch charger won't charge your phone
I think they all work, you just moved them too quick. When you compare the amount of time it took the last charger to start charging and compare it with the amount of time the watch was left at the center of the other chargers, you can see that it just needed a moment before it could start but by then the watch was already under/over the coil on the inside.

the watches are super picky. and only like Samsung or ones that are specifically made for the watch

frontier doesn't support wireless charging, the active does and the Galaxy watch kind of does

@Christopher Hueghs from my understanding the gear s2 doesnt support wireless charging so you'll have to buy a new charger. the watch active and the galaxy watch support wireless charging but its extremely limited and very picky

if it's compatible yes. the watch is really strict on which one it works. your best bet is getting a Samsung branded one

How long does it take to charge it?
unfortunately I haven't killed it completely. from 45% to 100 it says it'll take 1 hour and 22 minutes
from 20 to 100 it takes 2 hours. this is on a basic charge block
