On the old 3UR 5.7 with the Aisin, direct drive is 4th gear. On my 2022 Toyota Platinum Hybrid am I suppose to throw it into a certain gear also when towing? Wind and rolling hills equals frequent gear hunting done by the transmission. No one tows or knows in my location of Toyota dealer so please don't suggest. I want TOYOTA RESPONSE. Thank you!!!

Toyota, the trim pieces are not as good as they used to be, please keep an eye on quality of the vehicle, I know making it cheaper is important, but please my bumper in 2022 Toyota Camry has jagged edges in the rear back when lifted, shoddy workmanship for a brand new vehicle...

@@toyotausa Owning generations 2, 3, 4 and now 5 gen 4Runners one shouldn’t tow over 2500 lbs with the underpowered 4Runner v6 especially in our Colorado Rocky Mountains.
The 4Runner’s v6 lacking hp/torque mated to the horrible too tall of gearing 5sp is simply dangerous and frighting in our Colorado Rocky Mountain high altitudes!
Please offer a Toyota dealer installed supercharger and tuning kit which would solve these performance safety issues.

@@icare7151 I think 4RUNNER used to have a performance tuned variant but now kits are available from same company that was supplying them supercharger direct fit

Rule number one. Don’t tow over 2500 lbs with the underpowered 4Runner v6 especially in our Colorado Rocky Mountains.

Unfortunate that you have to pay a subscription to start the vehicles with your key fob. I don't know of any other OEM that requires that for the key fob... if you're using an app on your phone, sure... but not the key fob... be better Toyota..
