Really great looking aircraft. I was wondering, what is the minimum runway length for landing? Can this aircraft be used for landing on short runways? It kind of looks like an island hopper.

Why are you using flaps 20 for departure? Flight manual states single engine climb cannot be assured unless the gear is up and flaps 5. Unless required for runway length, safer to depart flaps 5

Nice videos. How are you able to move around the cockpit so smoothly (visually speaking)?

Just curious, I bought the MU-2 yesterday and have been flying it now, decided to use the autopilot. However, I have altitude selected in the selector, and have set on IAS mode while speed was 200 knots.. now if I'm not mistaken, the aircraft's AP should attempt to change pitch to hold that speed in climb, correct? I seem to be having problems getting the aircraft to do this... the FD bars are displaying correctly, but it seems that the autopilot is not following the FD bars to correct pitch to maintain IAS. Not sure if this is a bug or simply user error on my part.
Also, it seems that while I do not have control over ailerons while AP is in GPS mode and I move the yoke, I still have complete control over elevator motion while moving the yoke and the AP is in IAS mode.
Thanks for any help you might be able to give me!
    Cheers,

+Gregory Geick Any of the pitch modes must me set after auto pilot engagement, not prior. In this case, set navigation mode as desired, manually set the aircraft at the IAS/VS you desire, then select the desired climb mode. The ap will then fly it acuratelly.
