Hey Jim, great to see ya. I like to take a mixture of water and baking soda... I freeze that. I then send it down the disposal, sharpening the blades and fixing the odor a bit. lemons do a better job with the odor, at least temporarily. Maybe do it every two weeks to keep it really fresh.
Hi Jim, nice to see you. Would you consider doing a “what to put and what not to put in the garbage disposal” video? My understanding is that it’s mostly for scraps and bits of food, and that there are some things that definitely should not go in there. If you do, I’ll post it in the diy fb groups I’m in.

An old Water Pik, filled with HD Vinegar works wonders for blasting gunk from the places brushes cant reach. They can also blast drain flies from the bathroom sink overflow hole.
Hi Jim, what's that you have under your sink protecting the wood cabinet flooring? I'm replacing my cabinet's floor from water damage caused by dripping and could use something to protect it. All the best!

NEVER put carrot peeling in the disposer. We clogged it up and had to call a plumber to unclog it. Brand new home mistake.
