Renault Zoe 40kwh HV Battery Lease repair, BMS diagnostics, cell failure, voltage/temperature/health

A deep dive in to Zoe battery diagnostic data on a car that has just had a repair under the Renault hv battery lease.

Interesting that Renault are replacing cells rather than just replacing the whole battery on such old cars. Are they still being manufactured or they coming form old stock do you think?

Hard to say as cells can last well if stored correctly - I would suspect Renault have an ongoing supply agreement with the battery supplier so probably hold a certain amount of stock and request more if it gets low which may then mean more are manufactured. I guess at some point it may get difficult to make more of the older cells. There are 22kwh and 40kwh Zoe’s under battery lease so I guess they have to have both available. Cheers
