Okay funny story: I'm expecting my very first ice yarn order to arrive tomorrow so I've been pre-gaming by watching everyone's ice yarn videos. I watched the one where you ordered all this yarn this morning and now watching this one in the afternoon. To me, it's like you ordered this morning and got it by the afternoon. LOL

My order tomorrow has a lot of the cakes that are mandala dupes because I've always wanted to try that yarn. I even have a few skeins of the Unicorn color that I've been afraid to use because they were pricey and I didn't want to use it on the wrong project 😅 Ice yarns is about to change my life!

I used to order it off Amazon before, and why I ever did, don’t add up 🤪 then I realized I was buying yarn that is no longer available, so I’m m not mad, just sick of frogging lol💕
@@CorvidaeJinx You're gonna love it. I made a blanket out of the dupe for the Genie colorway of Mandala and it's nice and soft. It holds up well to abuse also ( it's traveled to a few hotels with me on trips).
Although I've yet to order any yarns from the Ice company, I'm very grateful for your channel because the more that I watch it the more I learn about their yarns. I'm not into eyelash yarns or chenille yarns, but whenever I'm on their site I think of all the yarns you talk about and show which really helps me to decide which ones I'd like to get- and I'm still recuperating from your trip to the yarn store you took us too- lol!! I've ordered from Ice once, on Cyber Monday last fall, and I had the yarn three days later. I was blown away. But I'm in California so that's a further trip so I'm confused as to why this took a month...and why it says Feb of 2023 when this appears to be a new video? I didn't order nearly as much however. Lovely shades!

As a hopeful prospect for the new Magic Glitz, I've had some Cakes DK that felt crusty and awful like it had gotten burnt or melted. A trip through the laundry had it feeling fluffy and happy again. Hopefully that's the case with your new batch of Magic Glitz.
Hi Christa. If I could gain weight from yarn, I would be morbidly obese. Those mohair yarns looked absolutely delicious, like spun sugar! Oh the colors! No wonder you are so upbeat!! Btw, even my husband said there was something wrong with the magic glitz at the end of the video. He thought maybe they "changed the recipe".
I don't know if I have just 1 favorite 😅 there are so many beautiful yarns. Also, I feel like the magic glitz looks like a totally different yarn. It's not as glitzy that's for sure but it also looks like a thinner weight of yarn. Like a sport weight instead of a DK. 🤷♀️

What wonderful yarns. I love the hauls plus this way I can see what I want to order. Please next time turn down the lights. I have found lately everything seems so washed out that I can’t see the colours properly. You are so excited over the colours but I just saw blurry whites.
Would be lovely to do a comparison between the ice yarn acrylic and the Kenia acrylic. To see if there is a difference in the result (perhaps with nanny squares) It looked like in that shop there are so many Kenia colors also. For the EU we now have to pay also 21 % VAT on top and if it's more than 150 euro (without the vat), there is also an extra import fee 😭

This has got to be one of my favourite orders you’ve had from Ice yarn! (I followed you on my personal account for a long time). I think I know what you mean about the magic glitz! I have worked with it only recently.. for a basic acrylic, it’s very, harsh? Not to wear, it’s not a bad yarn, but it’s got a certain texture to it. Also, when I worked with it, afterwards I always have to wash my hands, I feel like there’s some residue on it. Very strange! But still love the yarn.
I fell in love with ICE’s yarns a few years ago. A particular yarn called KARTOPU the most beautiful 4 ply mercerised cotton yarn I’ve ever used. I tried to order some more but it has been discontinued. I’m sooooo disappointed.

I had a Dr’s appointment during the premier so I couldn’t chat with you live, but I thought I’d say hello and leave you a comment. 😊 Before I found your channel, I did a lot of mystery boxes and so I have a lot of random skeins that I don’t know what to do with. I’ll have to try to figure out if there’s enough yardage to make beanies or scarves with them I guess. That’s where my knitting comes in too because it uses less yardage than crochet. One day I hope to get shelves to display my yarn like yours. For now, they’re mostly in plastic closets… This was a fun haul to watch! Thanks for sharing! 💜🧶

I've ordered from Ice once, on Cyber Monday last fall, and I had the yarn three days later. I was blown away. But I'm in California so that's a further trip so I'm confused as to why this took a month...and why it says Feb of 2023 when this appears to be a new video? I didn't order nearly as much however. Lovely shades!

As a hopeful prospect for the new Magic Glitz, I've had some Cakes DK that felt crusty and awful like it had gotten burnt or melted. A trip through the laundry had it feeling fluffy and happy again. Hopefully that's the case with your new batch of Magic Glitz.

Hi Christa. If I could gain weight from yarn, I would be morbidly obese. Those mohair yarns looked absolutely delicious, like spun sugar! Oh the colors! No wonder you are so upbeat!! Btw, even my husband said there was something wrong with the magic glitz at the end of the video. He thought maybe they "changed the recipe".

I don't know if I have just 1 favorite 😅 there are so many beautiful yarns. Also, I feel like the magic glitz looks like a totally different yarn. It's not as glitzy that's for sure but it also looks like a thinner weight of yarn. Like a sport weight instead of a DK. 🤷♀️

The yarn wholesale warehouse you went to earlier, do they ship to the states ?
Would be lovely to do a comparison between the ice yarn acrylic and the Kenia acrylic. To see if there is a difference in the result (perhaps with nanny squares) It looked like in that shop there are so many Kenia colors also. For the EU we now have to pay also 21 % VAT on top and if it's more than 150 euro (without the vat), there is also an extra import fee 😭

This has got to be one of my favourite orders you’ve had from Ice yarn! (I followed you on my personal account for a long time). I think I know what you mean about the magic glitz! I have worked with it only recently.. for a basic acrylic, it’s very, harsh? Not to wear, it’s not a bad yarn, but it’s got a certain texture to it. Also, when I worked with it, afterwards I always have to wash my hands, I feel like there’s some residue on it. Very strange! But still love the yarn.

Before I found your channel, I did a lot of mystery boxes and so I have a lot of random skeins that I don’t know what to do with. I’ll have to try to figure out if there’s enough yardage to make beanies or scarves with them I guess. That’s where my knitting comes in too because it uses less yardage than crochet. One day I hope to get shelves to display my yarn like yours. For now, they’re mostly in plastic closets…
