So nice to see you here with an update 😊it’s so nice to see all the socks with the various types of heels. I’m still trying to figure out what my favorite heel is😅 …and that granny stripe /crochet shawl : wow.❤ I think I may need to make a scrappy version for my daughter too!
We loved Wild Robot and are big fans of the series, my son just turned 10 and it came out on his birthday, it was a great present. It was gorgeous and well done and made me cry too, best kids movie we’ve seen in a while!
Yes 🙌🏻 totally agree it’s the best children’s movie we’ve seen in a while. We are booked to see Paddington this weekend and then the following week Wicked comes out!!! So excited 🤩✨💖
first time watcher/listener. you've been my companion while I was cooking ❤ I only crochet for now, but I'm definitely trying knitting! your voice is really soothing 😊
Aww thank you for watching and for your lovely comment. I first started with crochet and I still love crochet but I remember thinking I really wanted to be able to knit socks and I’m so glad I challenged myself 💖
It is so nice to see you! I love your makes, especially the granny shawl. The way it is created to sit on your shoulders is brilliant! The granny blanket is beautiful as well. You will be grateful when it is finished. It is just getting there is the hard part. (Can you tell I don't know how to knit?)😊
I loved the quirky vib of your video . . . the way that you just casually chat with us is just refreshing! I loved how you checked to make sure you didn't have lipstick on your teeth while showing up the close up of your granny border! Great podcast!
It is so nice to see you I was waiting for your podcast and enjoyed it with a cup of coffee on a Saturday morning. Thank you so much for testing my pattern and for sharing it here. Your Granny Stripe shawl came out beautifully colored can’t wait for you to enjoy wearing it. Your friend from Mash potato brain club Moran xx

It was so lovely to watch your podcast after a long day with lots of things to do. Great way to relax 😊 Thank you for the granny shawl tip. I love wearing shawls and the shape of this one looks great. I also have a small stash of sock yarn leftovers. It wouldn’t make a blanket, so I love the shawl idea!
Enjoyed seeing all your projects - both the finished and in progress. Thanks for the tickler about cinema memberships. I'm always looking for non traditional gifts for my grandkids.
Thank you for watching, glad you enjoyed watching! Yes the cinema passes are great, I’ve already been again since filming the podcast and going again on Tuesday 😂💖

I've started one, as well and I love to see what others have made!!! ❤️ Lovely podcast - I adore you!!!!

Great Video Sherrie! Nice to see you back. Your projects all look lovely. Have you seen the Hermione Socks? They are textured and quite an easy pattern . Can I ask where your clear zip bags are from that hold your small hand dyed/blanket balls of yarn please?? These look more durable than the zip lock bags I am using! Xx
Thank you 💖 Yes I’ve seen the Hermione socks, they have a lovely texture. I think I might have tried them once 🤔 The PVC zip bag was park of a set I bought years ago from Primark. It was in their makeup/travel accessories range. Thanks for watching 🥰💖
My first time w/you. You are so cute &so down to earth. All the goofy things that happen in this podcast made me laugh. “Oh I’ve got lipstick on my teeth.” So funny😮. Do you enjoy making socks? I so want to try them. I am 84 & tried along long time ago. But need to try again. Been trying to fine beginner sock books. Do you like crochet socks? Thanks for your time.
Aww I’m glad you enjoyed watching 🥰 yes I love knitting socks! Something which I never thought I’d say 💖 I tried to crochet socks but didn’t get on with them, I found the fit not to be as comfortable on my feet compared to knitted ones. Although I imagine there are more crochet sock patterns out there now since I last tried many years ago. I always recommend the Winwick Mum for beginner socks 💖
My first episode, very enjoyable! I can’t find the pattern for the Granny Stripe Shawl that you were a test knitter for. It’s adorable! Can you tell me where to find it? Love all the socks…

Oh my goodness it grips you right to the end!! Look forward to seeing you soon. ( ps are you going to Stitchfest at Newton Abbot?)

Thanks for another lovely podcast Sherrie. Love all the socks . It's getting me in mind of some more cast ones I need to do. The Hipster hat is one I've been meaning to cast on. I always leave hats too late in the season to get any benefit out of them. Currently nearly finished the Mussleburgh hat by Ysolda Teague which I started last year. Genius pattern but it's taken me ages. You probably bought the 3 skeins of green yarn for the Oslo hat by Petite Knit I know that recommends 150g which seems a lot. Looking forward to seeing the Halloween knits. Take care & happy knitting. X
Hey Tracy👋🏼 Ohhh I so want to knit a Mussleburgh hat! I think I am the last knitter to knit one 🤭 Oh yes - do you know what, I think you might be right! However I did attempt the Oslo hat with a different yarn and I frogged it because I struggled with the construction of it!💖
@@OllieandBella yeah I've looked at the Oslo too but opted for the Mussleburgh instead as you can get it out of one skein of yarn. It's a genius pattern where you can start & measure your gauge as you go then decide which size you want to make. You can also use 2 colours for a reversible hat & wear it with a fold up brim for extra warmth or as a beanie or slouchy beanie depending on the length. I've just about finished mine today & it'll be ready for blocking in a day or so. As a thank you for all your podcasts I'd like to purchase the pattern for you & add it to your ravelry. Just working out how to do that. If I fail I'll be in touch & I'll but you a patterns worth in your KoFi . I'll have a crack at that tonight.

I have to tell you, first this is the second episode of yours that i've watched. I love the c2c afghans, have to learn the stitch.
