I always enjoy your podcasts. Never feel you have to apologise or edit genuine emotions. I shed a few tears in sympathy as I had been feeling much the same (for different reasons as I am a good bit older) So glad you are feeling better.
Oh, Nancy, I'm so sorry you've been struggling with the changes we as women are so lucky to experience. I'm glad they have found a way to manage your symptoms and ease the transition. And I agree, you have no need to hide your emotions or apologize for them - we are here for YOU, as much as we know you are there for us. We're your community, too. Delighted you got so much good out of your trip back "home." Sounds like a wonderful, cup-filling time.
I love the new sock design, so happy to see you've decided to release it. So happy you had such a wonderful time at the retreat. All of us ladies of a certain age will know exactly what you were going through and I am glad we live in a time when we can openly discuss the shit show that is the menopause and help each other through it ❤❤
Thank you Nancy! I always enjoy your podcasts, you are a delight to watch. Hearing about your trip was so much fun! Never apologize for your emotions, we have all been there and it’s good to see we are not alone. I see you! Sending you hugs! 💗 Erika
I wouldn't want you to burden yourself with vlogmas, but...if you have the creative energy to express yourself that way, I would watch every morsel. And "samey, samey" is perfection.
Loved travelling vicariously with you on your trip to the UK! You are indeed blessed to have connected with such supportive knitting friends! So glad to hear you are feeling better too. Take care! 🧶🤗
I think of your podcast & this community as a safe place & was so happy you could share your feelings with us. Thank you. I would very much like to see you do vlogmas again this year. Last year's was just wonderful. Hope you have the time for it.
It was lovely to meet you at the retreat Nancy and thank you so much for the lovely gifts you made for us. I sent a cuddle across the airwaves when you were talking about your pesky hormones xx
Dear Nancy, thank you for everything! For your work as a podcaster and a creator, for your authenticity, for the knitting and traveling daydreaming you inspire me every time I spend time with you. As a fifty-something-years old lady, I did experience a bit of what you went through while trying to find a new balance with those crazy hormones… 😉 So glad that you seem to be on the right path! And as a fellow Canadian living in Quebec City, I also find myself enjoying traveling the old countries, England and France, as I feel I am pretty much a mix of those two cultures that made me what I am today. I know that doing a Vlogmas must be a lot of work, but if you ever decide do embark on that endeavor this year, I will happily follow you! And you don’t need to impose to yourself to invent or create new content in fear we get bored : the charm of those Vlogmases resides in the little things that make our day to day life beautiful… Happy knitting! 🧶🙏
Hi Nancy, I’m still fairly new to your podcast, and just wanted to say how real and heartfelt it was. Thank you for sharing. I love your FO, the colour looks stunning on you. ❤🧶
Hi Nancy, I loved your vlog of your trip. You are by far my favourite podcaster. You are terrific and keep it real. Hormones, mice and all! We are all in the same boat. I enjoyed your vlogmas last year….and do hope you can do it again. Take care.
As always a great podcast, and your Felix sweater looks great on you. I’m happy that I made your day and lifted your spirits. I am looking forward to be able to make it to one of your knit nights.
Hi Nancy I’m a newbie I watched the travel vlog as I was at the retreat the week after you and it was lovely seeing all your footage of somewhere so familiar. I’ve been to four retreats and I haven’t used any of my full skeins but have made the minis of two of them into sweaters adding skeins bought from the shop. funny enough there was a firework display on the Saturday night. I’d made it back to my room in Ironbridge and watched it from my window . Your sock designs are lovely. Thank you for not editing out your emotions. It’s so easy for us to say we are fine when we are not. I firmly believe that travelling through difficult times can really strengthen us I’ve just subscribed so look forward to future podcasts.
Love listening to your wonderful trip to the UK and i know how you feel each time you go back. I was born in Moncton N.B. and on the rare occasions i go back, it is like returning home. I miss it always. I am drooling over the yarn you dyed and those you brought back. Always a joy to spend time with you ❤❤❤
I very much enjoyed your travel blog. Please don’t apologise for the way you feel or the tears. I’ve been back in Australia for 8 years but lived in the UK for 11 years and I miss it terribly. I had a bit of a tear in my eyes watching your video, because I lived for about 8 years in Twyford and Bracknell (near Reading). So I can relate to the emotion around being in the UK which I will always feel connected to. I’m glad you had such a good trip x
Another great podcast Nancy. I really enjoyed your travel blog too. I was so excited for you going to the retreat and meeting up with a bunch of my favourite podcasters.
That was a great episode. I was able to enjoy throughout the day. Nancy never apologize for being real. Sometimes by showing your weakness it helps others. I myself suffer from depression and anxiety. And without medication I’m not sure I would be here. Anyway great big Hugs to you. You certainly were able to hide what you were going through but never feel like you have to. Hugs again
Hi Nancy, sending hugs, been there where you are and I am sure you will feel better once the medication is sorted. Beautiful projects and loving the yarn too. Hugs ❤❤❤
I so enjoy your podcasts and would Love 🎄Vlogmas!!! I cried when I saw the group of ladies you were with at the yarn retreat!! Such precious women and can only imagine the lifelong connections you have made!! Your yarn is BEAUTIFUL!!!
Thank you lovely Darlene 🥰 I will be doing Vlogmas and I'm quite excited about it 🎄 It was very surreal being with them and I felt incredibly lucky❣️❣️
Another great episode Nancy. As another woman of a certain age I totally understand how you have been feeling. I'm so glad things are a bit better for you now. Sending a hug xx
Awesome recap of your visit to the UK and your authenticity! Life is life and it's so great to see it expressed in such a genuine way. Menopause is a reality and talking about it is important. I'm so glad you were able to strengthen your connections with so many knitting/fibre friends!
Thank you Jacquie❣️ The trip was so much fun and Menopause sucks!! You're right and it does need to be talked about more because I certainly didn't know what I was in for. I'm informed, medicated and feeling so much better 🤓
@knitsiphappy I know what you mean. They definitely didn't bring it up during Sex Ed classes in school 😬. My SIL was recently prescribed HRT and it's been a game changer. So glad it has been for you as well!
Hi Nancy, I'm so glad you had the opportunity to go on the retreat & "reset" in such a great location with like-minded knitters & crafters. ❤ I always enjoy your podcasts as you are an inspirational knitter & you present in a way that makes it seem like we're at knit night!😊 Regarding vlogmas, please don't feel pressured & only do it if it suits you. As you said December is "your time". ❤❤
I feel so lucky to have had the chance 💕 I absolutely love coming for a chat and I'm so happy that you feel the same 🥰 I am going to do Vlogmas and we will see what I can get up to 🎄🤓
Hello Nancy. I’m so glad that you enjoyed your trip to the UK. My daughter and I went to the Woollay retreat the weekend after you did and had a great time. We also stayed at the pub and had the overhot bathroom radiator experience, although we had the family room. It was a great retreat, I’d love to go again but we travelled across from Kent by train and it was a bit of a mission. Love your podcast.
Hi Nancy, thank you for another wonderful episode. I'm always so happy to see a new one pop up! Thank you for sharing, not only your gorgeous knitting, designs & spinning, but for also letting us feel like we're old friends sharing news and life's ups and downs. I can totally relate to what you've described re. menopause and all the fun ways it derails us, and I'm so happy you're finding a more comfortable balance these days to help with that - that's huge, I know! :-) This knitting community is such a joy and helps me manage all 'the feels' as my kids call it. Thanks for being such a big part of that! So happy you got to go on that trip - Cheers!
The support and encouragement has been so lovely since I posted this episode. Most of us are women of a certain age 😁 I do love coming for a chat and it feels like I'm spending time with friends as well, which is weird when I'm sitting alone talking to my phone 🤓. Thanks for being here ❣️
I really enjoyed your episode and seeing your lovely yarn. I loved hearing about the yarn retreat. I'm glad your joy is coming back....menopause is hard!
The color of your Felix suits you so well 🩷 Going to copy your idea for the Litmus/which way cowl and thank you for sharing your moments with us, and as one child immigrant to another, I totally relate to your feelings of going home to recharge 🫶🫶🫶🫶
Nancy….sending the biggest hug from Maryland. I’m so so glad you’re feeling better and that your England trip was rejuvenating and cathartic. I agree with the other views that there’s no need for apologize, we love you lots!! Love the yarn you dyed…so cool to see your inspiration come to life on a skein. I wonder if you’ll take up this new hobby in the future 🤔
The little blips of color on your new socks look like tiny little hearts ❤ I just bought the Njord socks. My husband is a retired Veteran of the US Army, and yes, they can use a little extra support and tlc. Glad that you're feeling much, much better!
They little blips are so sweet aren't they?!?! Thank you for the sock support and absolutely I think it's good to have extra resources to come back to "real" life. Thank you for your service ❣️ We military wives, served right along with them
So glad to hear that your trip has contributed to a better feeling of wellbeing. There is nothing like the smells and tastes of childhood to make you feel better. I am very lucky that I still live in the town where I was born about 25 miles north of London. It has changed over the 78 years of my life but it is still home. The yarn that you dyed is a gorgeous colour and I think the 19 minis are a delight. Love the socks. Looking forward to the new pattern. 🇬🇧
@knitsiphappy I can understand that feeling of nostalgia. During my husband's working life we spent time in South Africa and Spain and it was the familiar things from home that I missed. 🇬🇧
Welcome home, Nancy! It’s good to have you back on RUclips! I would love to know how you do your twisted column on Rob’s Christmas socks. I love something very simple with a self-striping. Happy to pay if you’ve written a pattern. Thank you! And YES! To Vlogmas. 😊
Welcome home, Nancy! It’s good to have you back on RUclips! I would love to know how you do your twisted column on Rob’s Christmas socks. I love something very simple with a self-striping. Happy to pay if you’ve written a pattern. Thank you!
❤❤❤ Hugs. I encourage your authenticity, we should all be so brave and see each other for where they are at with compassion and love. What a wonderful trip thank you for sharing, the views from the bus were great.
Lovely to hear your travel and retreat memories. Totally get your nostalgia for UK as I'm a Brit living in California. Always a treat to go shopping in Tescos of Sainsburys, meals in pubs, fish and chips and a Chinese takeaway. I'd love to visit Ironbridge again, Shropshire is one of my favourite counties. Love Kelly's yarn, I was lucky to get some for Christmas last year, savouring it and waiting for the perfect project of course! Thanks for the episode. Jane
Yes, yes, yes!!! All of that 🤓 I'd never been to Shropshire before and it was lovely...I'd love to go again! There's certain yarns that just feel too precious and they need to be admired for a while 🤓
Aww Nancy so pleased you enjoyed your trip and were able to reset as well ❤ never apologise for being you as we women ago through the hormone thing ❤ god bless you Nancy 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Nancy, it's always so lovely to share this time with you. It sounds like you had an awesome vacation, recharge. Your travel vlog was so great. I hope to get to England someday. On my bucket list. Thanks !❤
I don’t think there was a single thing I didn’t fully enjoy in this podcast episode! Your newest designs are wonderful and I am so with you when it comes to vanilla socks! I have to have some kind of design going. Your UK visit seems magical. Thank you for sharing!
So enjoy your podcast. Very happy you had such a lovely visit with friends in England. We can all relate to unplanned tears. You are with your people.❤️🧶❤️
Sorry - I picked up the Njord Socks a day late for your donation! They’re perfect and I was looking for fingering weight. So glad you made the adjustments for us non-mathers. Thanks, Nancy!
Menopause is no joke and it sucks. I had a sudden menopause at 30 and then the universe decided to do all the awful stuff again 20 years later. (Hormones are just cruel) I’m glad they got your medication figured out - it’s a life saver. So glad you are feeling better and had a wonderful time in England.
Lovely to see you! So glad you had a wonderful trip. Great job dying your yarn!! I would be happy to watch whatever you want to create during Vlogmas. For me seeing similar content just makes it feel like Christmas!! 🎄🧑🏻🎄🎄
Nancy, I'm so glad you are feeling better. I've been praying for you this autumn. It sounds like your trip to England came at just the right time. Your yarn is lovely! I can't wait to see what sock design you make with it; maybe iron bridge inspired? I love the idea of using all those mini skeins in a project together to remember the retreat. Your new design is beautiful and I can't wait to try it.❤🧶
Oh Nancy so sorry to hear you have been feeling so crap - sending you big hugs and thank you so much for sharing. Glad you are starting to feel better - oh and that yarn that you dyed is divine - totally love that colour
Thank you Rachel 💕 The encouragement and support has been lovely. And I am feeling such better❣️ I'm thinking my bug skein that I dyed might be my Christmas Eve Cast On 🎄
❤❤ahhh,,,!!!Nancy,,,,,you are the sweetest🎉🎉 Never apologize,,,,it's life,,,,,been there ,,,as a lot of us have,,we know,,l😢😢 Loved ur podcast,,,,what a trip,,,love hearing about it ,,and what a lovely time,,,seeing everyone,,so nice for you 💕 What lovely yarn you dyed💕🧡 And the yarns from everyone ,,,,😍 Such memories,,,,, Thanks for taking us along ,,,, Elaine 🏠💕🍁🍄
Thanks for coming along and your kindness Elaine. Everyone has been so lovely about my tears...clearly my hormones are still a little out of whack 🤓 It was the best time and just what I needed 💕
Hi Nancy. Lovely catching up with you. Thank you for sharing your menopause experiences. You are not alone. Loved hearing your description of our retreat. Smiled at ‘crusty pants’ 😆. Looking forward to your Wigget sock pattern. Sarah x
Thanks Sarah 💕 It was easier to slip that in than cheeky Gayna had planned for me 😆 The tears caught me by surprise considering that my mood is so much better than several weeks ago. I've had so much encouragement and support...it's been lovely❣️
I hope you feel better and that going forward, you are as kind to yourself as you are with everyone else. And if being kind to yourself means regular trips to England to squish yarn and be with wonderful knitty friends, than so be it. I'm thinking of making the trek from NYC to go to the unravel festival in Farnham this February....have you been? I love England too. take very good care of yourself and thanks for lifting us all up with your terrific podcasts. xo
Thank you, Nancy for such a full, real podcast. I so appreciate all your sharing. I am several years older than you, and I truly remember those days when I was not fit for human consumption!! Unfortunately, I seem to be going through another tough phase, but I'm working on it. I am SO glad you were able to go on the retreat and not only enjoy all the knitting aspects, but also reliving your youth. I dyed yarn once and decided it is not my thing, but I sure appreciate the hand dyers out there! Your skein is lovely!! I have signed up for the Grocery Girls Canmore retreat as a gift to myself as I have always wanted to go on a retreat. I am so looking forward to it! I love your Felix sweater--a pattern on my list!! I hope you do another Vlogmas. I have 3 Advent sets coming--one is from Birdstreet yarn, which I have been oogling. Lastly, I can relate to you getting rid of your mice. I think/hope/pray we are finished with our rats!!
Thank you for explaining the 68 stitch sock. And I don’t care if it’s the same as last year! 😂 I will watch again! And you don’t have to do every day do what you can ❤
The yardage on your Rambouillet spin is incredible. Wonderful colours. I’m working on Targhee for the first time and thinking it will behave the same way.
I just discovered you this year and then met you in person in the hallway on the Friday of Knit City Toronto. I went back and watched your Vlogmas from last year and loved it. I would love to see you through December in whatever capacity you feel you could manage. You are lovely to hang out with. :)
I vote YES for vlogsmas - I didn’t watch last year’s so feel free to repeat everything! 😂 Also, I’m so happy to see how great the trip was for your spirits ❤
Dear Nancy, I am so glad that you enjoyed your trip to your "home" country. All my forefathers come from the UK. Spending time with your yarny friends is so special. The skein you dyed is so beautiful. All the minis that you received would make a nice memory lap blanket. I love that you donate to charities close to your heart. 💜
Just found your video's and I love this one because I see many people I know from youtube. Thank you for showing us around, such beautiful scenery. Now I'm going to watch your vlogmas video's because I LOVE vlogmas. Hi from the Netherland.
Oh Nancy so sorry to hear about the hard time you’ve went through😢 so glad that you’re feeling better😘 menopause is the worst😢 I was so happy to see that you’ve posted a new episode 🥰 totally made my day☺️ The colour of your Felix sweater is so pretty on you🩷 Can’t wait to get your upcoming new pattern - just bought the Njord socks. Take care❤️💐 Hanne
Thanks for the pattern love Hanne 💕 I'm feeling a bit more stable these days and I'm so grateful for that! I had no idea menopause was going to be like this, but here we are 😆
Don’t ever apologize for showing and sharing your feelings. We all go through things and it’s wonderful to have a supportive group like this that doesn’t judge because a lot of us have been through similar experiences! Big hugs! Please vlog in December! Whatever you can give us, we’ll be happy with! ❤❤🧶
Thank you very much Sonia 💕 I have had so much encouragement and support from the lovely knitters. How lucky to be part of this knitting world 🥰 I will be doing Vlogmas 🎄
Enjoyed hearing of your trip. It is great you got a chance to recharge and reset. Never apologize, I appreciate you being real and genuine. Looking forward to the new pattern release.
I wish I had made notes as I was watching to make comments. 🤪 I love your Felix pullover. ❤️ You already know how much I loved watching your vlog of your trip. Spending time with knitting friends is the best! I’ve been fortunate to meet some of my Instagram friends and podcasters in person. ❤❤❤
So glad you had a great trip (and also that the adjustment in meds is working for you). I am sure I’m not the only viewer who wants to reach out and give you a big hug! The retreat looked like so much fun- would love to go…..alas our Canadian $ really makes travel tough.
Oh my goodness, I LOVE the yarn you dyed 😍 One of these days I’m gonna give it a go. For your cowl…what if after running out of hand spun you just knit plain in the main color. That portion could be the “back” of the cowl that always goes behind the neck. I don’t think anyone would ever see it, and even if they did, it could look purposeful. Just an idea 😉 I’ve knit that awkward length before that is too long but also too short 😂
Thank you for sharing not only your trip but life and all the crappy hormonal joy we ladies deal with. Here’s to much knitting, sipping and calmer days.
Hi Nancy. thanks for sharing your travels and knit here and on the vlog about your trip and retreat. Your color way is beautiful and what a fun memory with those minis. Can't wait to see what you do with them. I'm happy for you that you're finding relief with the change in med dosages . The struggle is real and we all have either been there with you or will be. Looking forward to seeing you minis ode about advent knitting and I'm adopting your No gift Knitting December philosophy. Take care.
It was a fantastic trip with so many memories and the yarn was the icing on the cake❣️ I hope you enjoy your "no gift" December knitting...it's such a great gift to ourselves
Thank you for another wonderful podcast, brightening a rather exhausting week! I can’t wait for your new sock pattern, definitely need a lovely candy cane sock 😊 I wonder if this pattern will work great with a self striping yarn … I hope your coming weeks will be lovely and you come up with a decision on vlogmas that makes you happy! (I love the simple company of vlogmas and the day to day personally)
I hope you're week has flown by and you are finding some crafting time for a little joy this weekend 💕 It will be interesting to try the new pattern with self-striping but unless the stripes were the exact width, thee pattern won't line up. I think I want to try self striping with a solid 🤔 I will be doing Vlogmas 🎄 and I'm looking forward to it 🤓
Love your podcasts, love your sock patterns! As soon as I watched the part about where the money you raise from the sales on the Njord sock pattern goes, I bought the pattern immediately! A tip - you know all those lone braids of fibre that you spin up that will go into a "colourwork sweater"? I'm also a spinner, and like to plan my odd single handspun skeins to go eventually into an Andrea Mowry Nightshift shawl. You need 6 different skeins for that! 😊😅
Thank you for another fab episode. We get you on the menopause thing. Sending virtual hugs. I would love to see a Vlogmas. Wintery Canada would look so lovely compared to my summery, hot and humid Australia. Only do whats good for you and enjoy the seasonal festivities 🎅🧶
Thanks for another great vlog. I loved your previous vlog on your trip to the UK and Lay Family Yarns Retreat. I’m not a sock knitter unfortunately but think your column in your sock reminds me of the iron bridge and looks wonderful 😊
Thank you very much 🥰 It will be so fun to be able to watch it myself and enjoy the memories❣️ I hadn't seen that in the column of the sock...love that 🤓
Such a lovely video. So nice to see a genuine person showing up. I'm glad you are feeling better and are finding pockets of joy in your life. Show yourself the kindness you give to others. I was wondering why 19 minis and it blew me away the reason. What a wonderful thing for the organisers to think of, and a beautiful memory for you as participants. Thankyou xx
Thank you Leigh-Anne 🥰 It's nice to be feeling more like myself.. even if the tears didn't quite slow that 🤓 The minis are the best souvenir of my trip and the retreat 💕
I love to watch vlogmas! I was not here for yours last year so it would be new to me. Not to mention it’s different advent, calendars and different yarn. However, if you don’t feel you have enough content, you could do it weekly. You could film bits each day and combine them for a weekly episode.
Enjoyed your podcast as always- and as so many others have said no need to apologize. Celebrate the return of feeling yourself again to the max! Also- spent the entire podcast admiring the wonderful pink sweater. A friend of mine gave me some yarn in that shade that she didn’t want and I’ve been really hesitating to use it. No more. Probably casting it on today😂
Your yucky weather is just like ours right in the middle of the USA... rain is stopping but it is gray and "wet" cold. I am so glad that your trip turned out so well... it came at JUST the right time, when you needed it the most. Take care!
We had quire a bit of snow later that day as the temperature dropped. I'm so not ready for that 🤓 The trip was just what I needed and my tears don't quite demonstrate the fact that I do feel better 😆
Another lovely podcast, thank you for sharing you just as you are!
I always enjoy your podcasts. Never feel you have to apologise or edit genuine emotions. I shed a few tears in sympathy as I had been feeling much the same (for different reasons as I am a good bit older) So glad you are feeling better.
Thank you for your kindness 💕 I hope things are getting better for you Elizabeth❣️

I think of your podcast & this community as a safe place & was so happy you could share your feelings with us. Thank you. I would very much like to see you do vlogmas again this year. Last year's was just wonderful. Hope you have the time for it.
I loved your Vlogmas. If you have time, I hope you do it this year. I don't mind seeing the same things as last year. ❤
Thanks Christine 🎄 I'm going to do it 🤓
Very happy to hear this news👏❤

I enjoy your podcasts so much. Life is capricious, so be nice to yourself ❤❤
Thank you very much for being here❣️ It is indeed...thank goodness for the crafting and understanding people around me 🥰

Regarding vlogmas, please don't feel pressured & only do it if it suits you. As you said December is "your time".
❤❤
I feel so lucky to have had the chance 💕 I absolutely love coming for a chat and I'm so happy that you feel the same 🥰
I am going to do Vlogmas and we will see what I can get up to 🎄🤓
Hello Nancy. Love your podcast.
thank you for sharing the genuine you, here's t some more chilled time
I appreciate the kindness Nikki 💕 Apparently my hormones are still a little out of whack 🤓
Thanks for keeping me company❣️ And yes it is...which I didn't expect. Getting informed and having a supportive doctor has made the difference 💕
Love the genuine emotion and I’m so happy that your feeling better 💕
Thank you 🥰 Everyone has been so kind!
Thank you for sharing your lovely trip to England. What an experience. Take Care.
Thank you Donna❣️ I'm already dreaming of the next one 🥰
The nostalgia is overwhelming sometimes... hence the tears 🙃 Thank you Elaine 🥰
Thank you very much Jennifer 🥰 I have had so much encouragement and support...it's been absolutely lovely❣️
Thanks so very much Lorraine 🥰
Nancy, it's always so lovely to share this time with you. It sounds like you had an awesome vacation, recharge. Your travel vlog was so great. I hope to get to England someday. On my bucket list. Thanks !❤
Thanks for hanging out with me Patricia 💕 It was just the reset that I needed and I highly recommend going off you can 🇬🇧
Wonderful episode!! Love seeing all the goodies and hearing about your trip! 💗
Thanks for spending some (quite a lot 😆) of time with me❣️
I don’t think there was a single thing I didn’t fully enjoy in this podcast episode! Your newest designs are wonderful and I am so with you when it comes to vanilla socks! I have to have some kind of design going. Your UK visit seems magical. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for spending some time with me Patricia and that's very kind of you to say 🥰 My trip was exactly what I hoped for and I feel very lucky❣️
So enjoy your podcast. Very happy you had such a lovely visit with friends in England. We can all relate to unplanned tears. You are with your people.❤️🧶❤️
Thank you Kristen 🥰 The encouragement and support has been lovely ❣️
Do not ever apologize! Everyone goes through stuff and we get thru it by helping and talking to each other. Hugs
Thank you Kim 🥰 The support and encouragement have been so genuine and touching. I really am feeling better and the tears kind of came from nowhere 🤓
Sorry - I picked up the Njord Socks a day late for your donation! They’re perfect and I was looking for fingering weight. So glad you made the adjustments for us non-mathers. Thanks, Nancy!
Congratulations to the winners
And I am feeling such better❣️ I'm thinking my bug skein that I dyed might be my Christmas Eve Cast On 🎄
Thank you for another great episode. Happy knitting 🧶 x
It's a pleasure to come and chat and I appreciate you spending time with me 💕
❤❤ahhh,,,!!!Nancy,,,,,you are the sweetest🎉🎉
Never apologize,,,,it's life,,,,,been there ,,,as a lot of us have,,we know,,l😢😢
Loved ur podcast,,,,what a trip,,,love hearing about it ,,and what a lovely time,,,seeing everyone,,so nice for you 💕
What lovely yarn you dyed💕🧡
And the yarns from everyone ,,,,😍
Such memories,,,,,
Thanks for taking us along ,,,,
Elaine 🏠💕🍁🍄
Thanks for coming along and your kindness Elaine. Everyone has been so lovely about my tears...clearly my hormones are still a little out of whack 🤓 It was the best time and just what I needed 💕
Hi Nancy. Lovely catching up with you. Thank you for sharing your menopause experiences. You are not alone. Loved hearing your description of our retreat. Smiled at ‘crusty pants’ 😆. Looking forward to your Wigget sock pattern. Sarah x
Thanks Sarah 💕 It was easier to slip that in than cheeky Gayna had planned for me 😆
The tears caught me by surprise considering that my mood is so much better than several weeks ago.
I love England too. take very good care of yourself and thanks for lifting us all up with your terrific podcasts. xo
Oh Nancy. I’m sending you much love and huge hugs. So glad you are true to yourself.
Thank you Brit...that's so lovely of you 🥰 I am feeling much better, even though the tears betrayed me a little 😆
@@knitsiphappyI totally understand
Great podcast! Glad you are feeling better and that you had a wonderful fruitful trip.
Thank you so much Doris 💕
Hello from Swansea, Illinois. ❤❤❤❤❤
Hello Janet 👋 💕
Thank you for explaining the 68 stitch sock.
And I don’t care if it’s the same as last year! 😂 I will watch again! And you don’t have to do every day do what you can ❤
That was a pleasure Julia...let me know if I wasn't clear enough 🙂 I can confirm that I will be doing Vlogmas 🎄
@ yay vlogmas!
Also, I’m so happy to see how great the trip was for your spirits ❤
I'm IN for Vlogmas 🎄 🤓 Thanks for spending some time with me again Mel 💕
Make a iron bridge sock pattern with the fretwork!
My Freddy Beach Sock could be used as an Ironbridge sock because it was based on a bridge 🤔
The yarn you dyed is absolutely gorgeous. 🤩🤩
Thanks Luanne 🥰 I am so so happy with it 🩵
Love the new pattern, in my library. Your sweater is amazing! Followed your blog and loved every bit of your travels!
Thanks so much Klaske 🥰 I hope you love knitting your socks 🧦
Wonderful that your holiday was a reset and that you are feeling better. I loved your vlogs last December - I hope you do something this year.
Thanks so much Carolyn 💕 i will be doing Vlogmas 🎄 😊
Dear Nancy, I am so glad that you enjoyed your trip to your "home" country. All my forefathers come from the UK. Spending time with your yarny friends is so special. The skein you dyed is so beautiful. All the minis that you received would make a nice memory lap blanket. I love that you donate to charities close to your heart. 💜
Just found your video's and I love this one because I see many people I know from youtube. Thank you for showing us around, such beautiful scenery.
Now I'm going to watch your vlogmas video's because I LOVE vlogmas.
Hi from the Netherland.
Hi Carin 👋 I was also excited to see those people 😆 I'm so lucky to have spent some time with them 🥰
I will be back to do Vlogmas this year 🎄
Love your podcast and your honesty. We are probably around same age. Fun right? Haha! Your trip looked awesome. You are brave going on your own.
Like Joan Crawford “no wooden hangers” no wooden baskets lol. Always enjoy your tips. Thanks!
Bahahah!!! That's hilarious Judy 😆 I remember reading that book in the 80s.
So glad that you're feeling better ☺️
Thank you...me too❣️
Love you as you are!
Thank you...that's very kind 💕 Apparently my hormones are still out of whack 😆
Oh Nancy so sorry to hear about the hard time you’ve went through😢 so glad that you’re feeling better😘 menopause is the worst😢
I was so happy to see that you’ve posted a new episode 🥰 totally made my day☺️
The colour of your Felix sweater is so pretty on you🩷
Can’t wait to get your upcoming new pattern - just bought the Njord socks.
Take care❤️💐
Hanne
Thanks for the pattern love Hanne 💕 I'm feeling a bit more stable these days and I'm so grateful for that! I had no idea menopause was going to be like this, but here we are 😆
Never be sorry, we've all been through this, take care of yourself, sending hugs.
Thanks very much Sharron 💕 The support and encouragement have been so heart-warming. I'm excited for the new pattern as well...I love it so much ❣️
I wish I had made notes as I was watching to make comments. 🤪 I love your Felix pullover. ❤️ You already know how much I loved watching your vlog of your trip. Spending time with knitting friends is the best! I’ve been fortunate to meet some of my Instagram friends and podcasters in person. ❤❤❤
Meeting other knitters is just the best 🥰 I'm a terrible commenter on other podcasts 🤓 I always forget what I wanted to say or I leave four comments 😁
@ I’ll just start commenting as soon as I see something. 🤣
@dmbrown240 it's good to get it out of our brains 😂
So glad you had a great trip (and also that the adjustment in meds is working for you). I am sure I’m not the only viewer who wants to reach out and give you a big hug! The retreat looked like so much fun- would love to go…..alas our Canadian $ really makes travel tough.
Thank you Beverly❣️ The encouragement and support has been so lovely 💕 Our dollar is awful isn't it?!?
Cheers to that Kathleen 🥂
I would love to watch your vlogs in December! 💕
Thanks❣️❣️ Vlogmas is a go 🎄
Hi Nancy. thanks for sharing your travels and knit here and on the vlog about your trip and retreat.
Vlogmas would be FUN !! Cant wait to see your Pixie fiber spun up !
I can confirm I will be doing Vlogmas 🤓 I also can't wait to get to that fibre, but I must finish my current spun first. I must right?? 😆😆
Oh big hugs Nancy. Bloody hormones ❤❤❤
Thank you Valerie❣️ Tears aside...I really am feeling much better 🤓
Thank you for another wonderful podcast, brightening a rather exhausting week! I can’t wait for your new sock pattern, definitely need a lovely candy cane sock 😊 I wonder if this pattern will work great with a self striping yarn …
I hope your coming weeks will be lovely and you come up with a decision on vlogmas that makes you happy! (I love the simple company of vlogmas and the day to day personally)
I hope you're week has flown by and you are finding some crafting time for a little joy this weekend 💕
It will be interesting to try the new pattern with self-striping but unless the stripes were the exact width, thee pattern won't line up. I think I want to try self striping with a solid 🤔
I will be doing Vlogmas 🎄 and I'm looking forward to it 🤓
Dear Nancy, Thank you for all the time and effort you put into your lovely podcasts. The yarn you dyed at the retreat is gorgeous!! 🧶🧶🧶🌸🌺🌸
I absolutely love coming to have a chat. Thanks for spending some time with me 💕
Sorry you were feeling crappy and glad things are better now.
I am feeling so much better, even though it would seem that my hormones are still a little out of whack 🤓
Oh yummy yummy beautiful skeins of wool.
Very yummy!!!
Vlogmas will be happening 🎄🤓 I've had so much encouragement and support from all the lovely knitters 🥰
Thanks Laurie 🥰 I can confirm that I will be doing Vlogmas 🎄 We will see how the days go 🤓
Enjoyed your podcast as always- and as so many others have said no need to apologize. Celebrate the return of feeling yourself again to the max! Also- spent the entire podcast admiring the wonderful pink sweater. A friend of mine gave me some yarn in that shade that she didn’t want and I’ve been really hesitating to use it. No more. Probably casting it on today😂
Yay...I hope you've cast the pink yarn on 💕 What are you planning?
I am so happy to be feeling more myself and hope that will continue 🤞
@ not yet! Possibly because I’ve run out of cables in my interchangeable set😂 maybe ‘Nest’ by Tincanknits? but that could change….your Felix is lovely
@hbknits bahaha!!! Knitters problems...you need more cables 😆
Wonderful Need something to watch while having my lunch. Long episodes are great. I can watch some and watch the rest later. Thanks Nancy
Perfect!! Thanks for hanging out with me Wendy 💕
