Seeing your West Sands is the first time I’ve seen someone’s version of a sweater and felt like I wanted that EXACT sweater. Wouldn’t change *anything* about it, it’s stunning 😍 I must make one!
Lovely knits again. I’m still knitting the red, white and blue mitred square laprug for my son. I think I only have 14 squares to knit and quite a few ends to sew in. Also I’m knitting socks for me, WYS ZR Forest Stripes. I have my next two projects in my head. 😁 x
Lovely projects! I find Isager to be the softest mohair. It’s super kid rather than just kid. I also always have to use bigger needles for Sari’s patterns. She must be a loose knitter.
Thank you! Oh really, I'll have to give it a try next time I need a mohair. Yes I think so too, I think she knits continental and as I knit English style I usually find I'm a bit tighter
Pleased to hear your better! Love your daughters Halloween 🎃 costume 😊 Been knitting on and finished a heavy modified felix cardigan. Half way through a Irish moss stitch slip over and some cosy dk socks 🧦 pg102 of summer lees ‘the sock project’ ❤
Yes much better thank you ☺️ Thank you, she loved it and said she wants to wear it again next year! Oh lovely, I'm tempted by a Felix for spring next year. Dk socks are such a good idea, I think I'll have to cast some on for myself now it's getting chilly
Good 😊 oh I’m pleased she loved it! It’s getting cold here in the East Midlands so dk songs are perfect for wearing indoors!! I’ve done 3 Felix cardigans now but they’re all very different!!
Could you do a tutorial on how you finished the fold over neck band.....its soooo stretchy 😍😍😍😍. I loved your daughter's cropped cardigan. All your colour choices and wips are beautiful 🧡💛💚💙💜🤍
Hi, your knits always inspire me 😊. I've just finished the harvest cardigan by tin can knits, as a Christmas gift for my sister. Today I'm starting the Norwood jumper by Jenn Steingass, for me 😊. Not done a fingering weight for a while so should be fun! Great podcast I'm in the UK too, Lincolnshire. Look forward to your next one xxxx
So happy to hear that. What a lovely gift! She is very lucky. Ooo that sounds lovely, the colourwork looks beautiful and fingering weight will be so versatile 😊
Do you tell your family when you’re knitting for them or are knitting in secret? Or just pretending it’s something for yourself? 😅🫣 I‘m eye-ing the idea of making something for my partner but I‘m not sure yet how I would approach it in regards of gift/surprise 😅
Last year I knit my husband a jumper in secret for Christmas, I mostly knit it when he was out of the house or doing something in another room. Now I don't tend to knit him much in secret because I panic about things not fitting 😂 I have seen a few people knit gifts for their partners when they are around by also having another project in the same colour on the go that they can pass them off as.
This is my first time here. So glad I found you
Thank you so much for watching 🥰

The pattern is still on track to release at the end of next month I believe 😊

Oh so close! I really admire any kind of blanket knit.
Oh lovely! Can never have enough hand knit socks! 🧦

I can definitely give a tutorial a go for the fold over neckband. I just need to finish up a yoke to add the neckband too 😊
Thank you so much! 😊

Ps: looove how the christmas sweater looks so far, the green with the white trees looks perfectly winter-y for me without being to christmas-y 💖🧶

I hope it becomes something he can wear all winter long 😊
