I really want to cast on a Habitation Throw with my McMullin Fiber Co advent, but January is for finishing my Jimmy Beans Blanket Club blanket. I stayed caught up thru May but in June, you had to seam blocks together to then start knitting the border, so I put it down and didn’t pick it back up. So I have 7 skeins of MadelineTosh blanket yarn just sitting there and that blanket is my January project. Nothing to be cast on until it is finished.
My plans for 2025 are still a work in progress, but the biggest thing on my list is to work on getting my WIP's down to a more manageable number, by working through them one at a time. I'm hoping that I can get a few of the socks I started over the last year finished and off of the needles so that I can start planning on gift knits for this coming year. I want to make socks for my son and his fiancé and a couple of my friends have requested socks. I have 2 sweaters that I've got caked up and started, but need to commit to finishing or frog them and start something with the yarn. I'm also downsizing the clubs I've been getting, so I can try other yarn clubs this coming year. I'm also starting a project journal so I can keep track of my ideas and projects I'm wanting to work on so that I can get better organized. Have a great New Year's and enjoy 2025.
@@Craftingbug92 Love everything you are planning. I have so many things on needles that I should go through and frog some things. I don’t know why but I have the hardest time frogging things. I like the idea of a project journal, I don’t know why write down things I finish but I haven’t written down ideas, that’s a good idea!
I am working on wips right now. No promises about not casting anything else on, but I would like to finish 2025 with current wips complete. I only have 7 with one being a dishcloth and one will probably be frogged. So only 5 bigger projects.
@@hanacraftycreations It’s now there. Go to your project page, if you are on a laptop/computer it will say projects, index, organize and challenge on the right hand side. Click challenge and then you can set a goal. On your phone go to projects. There will be three dots on the right side touch that and it pulls down index, organize and challenge. Touch challenge and set your challenge.

@@beverlysmith1473 I one day will do a Habitation throw. I’ve seen a few people doing the Jimmy Beans Blanket club, I wouldn’t be able to keep up.
Finish the hat first! That will encourage you to keep going. Then the blanket - that is a great accomplishment!
