Being GMP, the pursuing vehicle could be anything from a small Seat, through to a Subaru or or a regular Volvo/BMW. GMP have a long history of using some quite unusual vehicles, going right back to the Cosworths of the old X division formed when car crime was at a peak in the late 80s early 90s.
No, they are not using gopro, they are using a Cleartone system, that is for recording evidence, not entertaining the public, and the angle of view better matches the human eye. Notice how it is connected to a GPS system, the brake pedal, and the emergency equipment, it does far more than your average gopro, including record for up to an entire week from several synchronised cameras. Some of those systems can be quite old, as new they are several thousand pounds, so get transferred from vehicle to vehicle many times.

@@jrodgaming114 How? Bear in mind this was a pre-emptive stop that was planned, with little to no chase, stung at the roundabout, then stopped. So that was exactly what was planned, there is no "broken down car", that is cover for the stinger. It is an unmarked vehicle doing the follow so as to try not provoke a chase until the suspect vehicle was disabled and other units available. Unfortunately the stinger was not deployed right (a difficult skill to get right), so only one tyre seems to have been caught.
To attempt to use civilian traffic to block in a vehicle is dangerous. So what do you propose specifically seeing as they tried to prevent a high-speed pursuit in the streets?

@amelia the protogen I understand your way of thinking, and the logic behind it, but what your saying makes no sense at all, with the greatest of respect Amelia.
Think of it this way, bashing a few cars at zero mph is unlikely to kill anyone, whereas hitting another car at high speed, or multiple cars during a chase could kill multiple people. Also your right, it’s highly possible they were carrying some sort of weapon or guns, ( the s3 car wouldn’t predict the type of weapon) but any car in any situation under any reason for being pulled over, could be carrying a knife, a gun, a screw driver. So for them reasons, I’m struggling to see why they let this escalate. I may add to that too, that they were well aware and also prepared enough to have a cop with a tyre stinger waiting in front of that traffic, now if they had time to arrange that, don’t you feel they would of had time for armed force, I don’t believe they carry stingers in their boot like jump leads for a car. Obviously there’s a reason, or maybe they’re just not the smartest bunch😂😂 if the reason WAS, like you said for the safety others, they hugely misjudged the bigger picture here,don’t you think🤔

You can the Police are excited about the chase and want to initiate it, the safest place to get the guy was at the start could of hopped out took his keys and avoided it all but where’s the fun in that.
