I’m a cabbie in a popular tourist town in north Devon and if I used my horn every time someone took a wrong turn or cut me up, I’d wear the thing out! Some people just need to chill out and accept the fact that people make mistakes occasionally
On the motorway and you want to go from slow lane to middle lane, sometimes I indicate and wait for a few seconds before moving so the car behind me (in middle lane) is more aware. Most of the time they give a flash to say ‘on you go’which is what i usually do to others also.
Same, it's much better than being complacent, just assuming the driver sees your indicator or knows what you are doing. Most times it's good to wait a few secods to make sure they know what you're doing. They should then either flash as a signal to go, or speed up a little to get past you.
you know what ricky i fully rate these videos mate not only does it show the dangers of driving fast in built up areas but we got the same opinions on these sensitive people beeping for nothing causing road rage, seen too many people getting reported on dashcam compilations aswell & its dead to watch man we got too many fake feds out there
What baffles me is when people coming absolutely flying past in such a rush… yet then they are happy to sit in the road break checking and taking even longer when someone beeps🤦♂️

Or if we’re on a country road, a car would pull out forcing me to slam on because it wants to be ahead, then dawdles at 40mph in national speed limit zone

You’re right about the points as you can get 3-11 points for dangerous driving, but that goes for the car driver as well, middle lane hogging comes under careless driving which is 3-9 points. If the car driver wasn’t in the middle lane then none of it would have happened.

It's all avoided but u want footage and confrontation. I don't like them also. It's more their fault because there more violent but all they can say is free speech and your on camera. But just cause its free speech doesn't mean no consequences. Also what will their family do when someone humbles them for not letting someone through there's real nutters out their who don't care if u have a camera. If you don't like someones driving just overtake or find some other way to get around them, away from them. It's about clever driving, finessing other drivers while you look back at them in their tantrum. I've been finessed a few times but then I've realized they're chill, talented drivers too. Adapt and keep your cool at all times then you'll realize you never need to use the horn
The clip starting at 1:38 it's a case of thou shalt not get in front even though there are 2 lanes and it's merge in turn. The clip before I'd be more concerned about the person who had not finished crossing, a couple of seconds earlier and they would've been seriously injured or worse.
