That Audi driver defo knew what he was doing going through that alley, it would have been way too risky if you didn’t know beforehand that a car could fit or that there was even an alley there.

I doubt he planned a whole route to evade a police chase. It more likely he is very familiar with the area and has probably walked his way around those place, which allowed him to have the knowledge on back areas where a car can fit that normal people don't know about.

The 3.2L V6 quattro is underrated. This naturally aspirated engine is very powerful. I have one in my A6, I can relate.
Its not fast for what it is i own one and allso the a6 is a 3.2 fsi alot cheaper and more restricted engine than the one in the a3 r32 and porsche

It’s not North Manchester, the chase started in Groton and went round Gorton and Belle Vue which is South/ South East Manchester

I stand corrected then. I thought Stretford, Sale an such were South Manchester. Mental lived all over Manchester all my life an never knew that, everyone's always called it North Manchester. Guess it's Stockport / Tameside then or something. I even looked at a map 🤣😂🤣 either way all I know is Droylsden was yikes on insurance as was Reddish but I knew that was Stockport. Well every days a school day 👍

I use to Live Exactly Where the Chase started in Gorton, And I also Use to Live exactly Right where the Police Chase ended as well a few months prior, He most probably Ran to the Park To the Right then left of where the Car was abandoned.
Also Gorton Has loads of crime in it, Drugs, Stolen Cars, Theres another video where some Lady gets robbed at knifepoint there as well, Always something crazy Going on in Gorton Manchester.

My understanding is that police garages modify their cars to handle better and run faster than stock
they actually dont modify them they fully stock apart from lights and talkies etc they limited as every other car for top speed when stock
if anything they're usually just a different suspension(atleast here in sweden) because of all the added weight of a policecar and because of what it's ment to do(flying over bumps n shit)

@@youtube2kwatcher I was talking off the top of my head but now I've read up on it. In the UK the police cut backs mean they no longer have in house maintenance, however the cars seem to be modded at factory for police purposes but the info is sketchy at best.
I've personally noted that traffic BMWs, Volvo's etc here in the UK have very low rear suspension for example. It makes no sense that this is all due to the sheer weight of traffic cones and breathalyser's
On the other hand panda cars (local road use) look more standard
they are remapped, i know a guy that does it for emergency service vehicles

6:16 Its a quatro, so its AWD, same engine as the Mk5 R32....likely a DSG
It's not a true AWD, audi named QUATTRO because of the S2, but they use Haldex systems, which only powers rear wheels when front ones are spinning
it's like assisted FWD
@@ismafernandes693 Eh its just means all the wheels are driven which they are. Its not related to the split. AWD covers all systems that arent true 4x4 setups

@@rtorbs the haldex will only turn front wheels in idle while other 4wd & awd will spin all 4 simultaniosly, audi quattro tt , s3 so on will only power rear when front detects spining

a3 3.2 =225 hp AWD ,e60 535d =238hp(police car may be re-mapped) RWD and a lot heavier ,they did pretty good,considering... , member of the family (in the force)currently drives 535d xdrive ,the pursuit cars are usually remapped ,some pushing 370hp,the same guy in this video ran over a oldman trying to escape ..,some crazy mofos round here man...

Up North anyway Diesel traffic cars 3 series or x5 the x5 are the 335 engine even the police say on traffic cops or any tv with cops on owe cars are slower than a normal 330d because of all gear on board if it’s was a 335 it would of been on a toe rope to that a3 😂👊👍
