I work in that part of Manchester near didsbury. I realised when he came over the bridge with that sudden dip Next to the school. So dangerous. The fact the police chased him at that time and speed is insane. Kids everywhere.

You can only justify's the cop driving like this if they have commited a very serious crime like murder for instance, otherwise the police should not be driving like this.

These vids are wicked Rick keep them coming. This chase as you say the police was worst then the civic!!! There meant to be advance drivers and crossing a cross road like this is stupid! In 2014 my mate done that in a a4 estate and took a car out and paralysed a young girl!
police arent meant to be drivers, theyre just supposed to enforce the law. problem is they try keeping up with faster drivers or faster cars and they become worse than the actual person theyre chasing.

Couldn't of said it any better... police officer is willing to potentially take someone else's life just to catch a guy in a civic. No matter what the guy in the civic is wanted for, that police officer took it way to far.
The police were trying to catch those guys for a long time, driving round in stolen cars like that every single day whether they were being chased or not, constantly putting innocent people at risk. The police got sick of them getting away because they weren't allowed to do same maneuvers they always did. In the end they did what they saw necessary.

@@Rickyseniorr That's the decision that the officers and their superiors have to make, it all depends on what the person has done and what the situation on the road is. You've gotta remember that the officers are getting into pursuits at least once a month so they become more desensitised to it and start learning what is and what isn't safe. in my opinion I think you're gonna have to take risks like this in order to catch someone at the end of the day.

one of the best handing hatches ever made propper manual box dry weather and plenty of twistys the type R is in its element here gotta think back then the police are probably in some old vauxhall or a bmw auto that handles like the titanic lol check out manchester X cars for some good old school chases in manchester x cars had cossys cav turbos and all sorts its good viewing :)

I feel you on them driving just as dangerously as the guys trying to get away. Is it worth pushing them to the point of crashing in to someone or them crashing in to someone for the sake of a stolen car that’s more than likely fully insured. I remember seeing a police car run over a cyclist once while chasing someone. They just popped their head out the window, said “you good yeah” and carried on. Madness.

My Girlfriend and I used to go to her dads in Little Hulton GMP and listen to the scanner ( circa 1997/98 ) and wait for the stolen whips to come past. Better than any entertainment at the time. Was coming back from Bury once ( I lived in Bolton ) after picking dad up pissed from the pub in the 405 SRI. And he starts goading me saying you used to be able to drive and have you lost your bottle and all that ( proper parenting when your dads only 20 years older than you ) So I proceeded to take the GMP on a tour of Bolton lost them for an hour or so ( made the old man get out and walk a few times after a quick park up ) they finally caught me ( was about to give me a kicking and dad stepped out ) told them it wasn’t stolen and I had just picked him up. They gave me a full police escort all the way home ( FUMING !!! ) 😂😂😂😂 miss those days
