When you said "If your one of his sheep?" One of the sheep popped his head up while the other two had their heads down. Cracked me up cause its like that in life...very few out there but so grateful God leaves the 99 for the random ones.

Good stuff man, keep it up. It’s cool how intimate God is when speaking to us, too. This made me think of how God spoke to Elijah when he was in the cave after fleeing from Jezebel. God used winds, earthquakes, and fires to communicate many times throughout the Bible:
Winds: The disciples in the boat: Jesus shows his authority and rebukes the wind Mark 4:39
Earthquake: after Christ’s death: the veil was torn, the earth shook, the rocks split, and the tombs were open. Matthew 27:51-52
Fire: Elijah against Baal: the fire of the Lord fell and consumed the burnt offering; Moses and the burning bush Exodus 3:2
But instead God was in a low/still whisper that was personal to Elijah. There’s times God spoke to me through boldness and whispers, and what I’ve noticed is the manner in which God speaks to me is an indicator of my proximity to Him.
I really enjoyed hearing this episode. I feel like hearing God's voice isn't distinctly talked about much in the Christian community... especially towards new believers.

Notes on hearing Gods voice:
If I want to hear Gods voice, read his word
when I talk to him, ask about what does he want to tell me.
sit in silence
God will tell you what youdo nott want to hear
He speaks through his word, whispers etc.
He whispers on purpose for you to keep drawing near to him.
Remove the volume of our daily lives to hear God

I just found you through your last episode being recommended to me and I love the way you explain everything. I only found God a few years ago and I’ve been wondering how others hear the voice of God. I think it’s time for me to slow down and spend some time with Him.
