This was very helpful, thank you.
I was just about to use pre-wax cleanser before using TurtleWax Hydrophobic sealant (Ice N Shine in US) and thanks to your advice I'm not gonna do that. I watched your other video 'how to strip off sealants' and that's my plan now.

Another great video. Pre wax cleansers have been a hot topic this week for me. I’d always use Dodo juice prep polish or lime prime after a full decontamination and before applying wax (FUSSO). I seen on another channel where a detailer just applied wax after a full decontamination and IPA wipe. He claimed pre wax cleansers were basically worthless but I’d always use them Incase of marring from clay bar but the feedback I’m getting seems to be that pre wax cleansers are a waste of time 🤷🏻‍♂️

Thanks very much. I definitely think pre-wax cleansers are a bit of a luxury product, personally I don't use them every time I apply a wax but I do like the gloss-enhancement and light cleaning ability of them. I think if you like the results when you use a pre-wax cleanser then it's definitely worth doing!

Pre-wax cleansers definitely have their place. For the average consumer who isn't worried about paint correction, polishing, etc., the pre-wax cleanser is their best option because it preps the paint for waxing or sealing and does enhance gloss. The wax or sealants bond much better to the freshly cleaned paint and thus provide much longer longevity depending on what you are using (Jescar Powerlock is an excellent sealant for the price and can last six+ months on a daily driver, especially after a pre-wax cleanser is used). Now, for the person who is going to wax or seal their vehicle once a month, no, you probably don't need a pre-wax cleanser as you will constantly have a fresh coat of wax or sealant before the application prior has a chance to diminish off the paint.

Should a paintwork cleaner be used on top of a glaze before a wax? Will it strip the fillers?

Do you need een IPA whipe after applying pre-wax cleaners?
Will extra gloss dissapear after IPA?
Will wax better bond to paint after IPA?
Do you think the soft99 liquid compound can by applied with DA?
    Thx
    I like your work.

Again a great video, very informative. Just to ask what DA polisher are you using and would you suggest it for beginners?

Thanks very much! It's just a cheap one from Argos that I picked up a couple of years ago for around £40 but it's actually really good quality. I didn't want to splash out on an expensive one so I could get better quality compounds/polishes and pads instead. I'd definitely recommend it but I don't think they do the exact same model anymore, although this one that has good reviews and is a similar price www.argos.co.uk/product/8647300?clickSR=slp:term:dual%20action%20polisher:1:2:1
