Hidden HEATING Leak in a basement flat!

- This customer needed a trace, access, and repair through their insurance to locate a leak on their central heating system!
Situated in a basement flat, with no visual evidence of water damage anywhere in the property, even though every time they top up thier boiler it looses pressure from 1.5 bar to 0 bar with in 20 minutes.
The boiler doesn't fire up quick enough to heat up the water to use thermal imaging. But we have other methods to detect where these hidden water leaks are located. It does help to have duck with me though🕵♂️🐤
Once a repair was made, a pressure test confirms the system is holding pressure, and made sure all radiators are hot before leaving site! Another happy customer!

I love how customers move stuff before you come over to clearly look at radiators…. Ohhh wait. Happens to me every day 🤦♂️
How often does the customer walk in and see you playing with your duck?
I’ve always wondered this 😂
U made me laugh while having dinner an i almost choked
More push fit covered in screed 😕 surprised it lasted that long . Clearly wasn't pressure tested before it was covered up . Well done duck 😆
Thats quackers how good the duck is.
Glad I'm not the only one who taps the bleed valve to make a funny noise 😆
Nice short video,I get the duck joke but how did you find the leak? Did you hear it?
Cracking job. Like water off a ducks back.
Do you not dry screed, intermediate insulation or walls in the UK? The masonry should be completely soaked due to the capillary effect. Why do you never see a moisture meter? Where are the building dryers? Where is the screed insulation drying?
Nice job and good work fella 😉😉👌👌
Help me understand.
Why connections under a floor or in walls.
And why push fittings.
Wath heppend with the old fasion hardlines and fittings.
Love your videos, fun and interesting, thank you for all your hard work!
Well-done 👌👏👏
You're quackers you mate, love the vids :p
Ace job!👍
Pipes in dirt under floors seems so dumb. Sleeve it at least make it easy to pull out.
Why o why do people bury pipes in floors.
Would be nice to see how you found the leak (I assume a moisture detector for walls) and how you removed that tile, I'm not learning anything now, it's just you showing that you did a job
Lucky its behind the sofa so even if you can't match the tiles then its going to be hidden.
How did you find the leak?
1:09 Duck did that.
The duck used dowsing rods to find the leak
Stethoscope ?
Tracing gasses I think were mentioned in a previous video
Quite simple, just pressurise the system to 300 bar and dodgy fitting explodes taking the tile out with it.
You guys should charge a fortune I'd pay a fortune.
