Geroge from the Netherlands, thank you for recording that. 11 months before his death. He sounded philosophical when he spoke about why he still played despite his age. He needed an audience to share his music with. He did. Yhanks George and thanks Steve Harley for this your songs especially, Make Me Smile. So many good and nostalgic memories.
It's one of the most uplifting songs ever written. Sounds like Steve enjoyed himself up until the end. Vale Steve Harley RIP mate. Australia loves you.
@@egbront1506 i think it was a dislike for the ex members of cockney rebel, the construction of the song and the harmonies and chords etc i find ( as many others do) find it rather uplifting.
The very first concert I ever went to in Birmingham in 1976! Grew up with this distinctive sound and the likes of David Bowie ... how blessed we were. RIP Steve Harley.
rest in peace steve harley nice video this. horrible cancer. so many are dying of cancer. young old poor rich famous ore not famous. so sad i loved his music. his legacy will never end. rest in peace my childhood crush.
If you're going to write one song that then it doesn't get much better than this but Steve Harley wrote lots of other great songs too. Mr Soft, Judy Teen, All The Men Are Hungry, Sebastian, Love's A Prima Donna, Tumbling Down. A great and underrated talent.
Rust zacht Steve.
I'm so saddened to hear the news today. Thanks Steve for all your beautiful music RiP ❤️
