Thanks, I'm glad that people are finding it useful. Slowly building content up but I think I need to ramp up that kind of content and build my susbcriber base. It's gratifying that the how-tos continue to generate views.
My steering is a bit stiff, i lock the bottom nut and do i adjust the top one clockwise or anti clockwise? Could too tight make any wear and tear or is it ok?
Clockwise down onto the bottom one. If the bottom one is too tight (or too loose for that matter) it can lead to excess wear and tear. Tighten it such the that steering can turn freely without there being in play or wobble in the bearing
@@techlifebio thanks for the support, so i hold the top nut still with a wrench and adjust the bottom nut clockwise to loosen, i thought it was the upper nut you adjusted, will try slightly adjust the bottom nut until the steering loosen up barley :)
@ray_6677 he mate, you loosen them both off then adjust the bottom down until it holds the bearings firmly but without resistance, then tight the top down over the bottom, holding the bottom in place with one wrench while you tighten the top down on it with another wrench.
Check underneath where the hinge locks into place, there should be a 10mm nut (basically underneath the scooter). That probably needs tightening. Tighten it until the locking lever for the hinge is quite tight to close.
Do you mean the height of the handlebars? There's usually a clamp on the top of the stem, and sometimes little silver buttons you have to push in on the stum.
@@techlifebio thanks I’ll take a look soon. Alos there seems to be movement in the actual handle bar stem. Everything is tight I’m not too sure whats wrong. Thanks for the reply.
my bars keep bending don’t know why could be because off this
Potentially could be why
Nice do you have tutorial on how to adjust hydraulic braking and also center it for no noise?
No sorry, don't have any tutes on that. It's more or less the same as bicycle hydraulic brakes (depending on type). There will be youtube vids on it.
Hey judging by your views, your audience loves the tech "how to" and comparisons - this could be a profitable channel for you

How can you tell if your bearings are gone mate? Mine is wobbly as hell and juddering when I pull the front brakes
If there is any side to side wobble between the wheel and axle then it will be the bearings.
@@techlifebio no side to side wobble mate no

My front top spring bolts seem to loosen alot after long rides. Any tips on keeping them tight? The top front facing left bolt is the most common.
If you dont want to adjust the bolt all the time, i use automotive grade red threadlock
Held up really well with loose bolts on my 2 chinese scooters
My scooter everytime I stand it up keeps folding back up on me when I ride it, how do I fix it?

Hat are those 2 wrenches called
Multigrips is what I know them as.
@@techlifebio thank you so much
What size are the bolt’s for height adjustment on the stem? tia
hey mate, I can't remember what the size is, do you mean the allen key for tightening or the size of the bolt itself?
@@techlifebio the actual bolt
what spanner did you use
For the head piece I used adjustable wrenches
How do I got about adjusting the height on this?

If that doesn't help give me a couple of days and I'll post a video.
@@techlifebio hey yes I mean the height. The button seems to be stuck I cant quite push it all the way.
@@DarealJosh.n26 the buttons can be pretty stiff, try a light tap with a hammer to loosen it up

My steering is stiff
If it's too stiff, follow my instructions to loosen it off a bit. Make sure there's no play though
