Facts we all have a responsibility to ride responsibly for the scooter community because all it takes is 1 guy riding on a freeway hitting 75, he falls, gets ran over by a car, lawmakers pass a legislature bill, and we are all getting banned for using bike law with scooters on streets as we now have to only drive it in our backyards, and or now have to pay for a tag, plate and insurances. This is my only transportation, this happened to someone in FL where one city banned all E-Bikes because someone on an E-Bike hit a lady riding a regular bike without a helmet, she hit her head and sadly died. The whole city banned all E-Bikes when there were more Motorcycle accidents every day there. If they did that to people with E-Bikes imagine what they will do to people with hyper scooters. I have a question, on the slime website it says we should use around 10 oz of slime in the solar scooter tires which is a full bottle of slim. Would you recommend that or stuck with what this video says?
Shouldn’t need to oil any areas - all we suggest is ensure to keep all nuts and bolts tight by checking once every other week or so. Apart from that, all that will need servicing is tyres and brake pads :)

I noticed he put the lock tight on the deck nut but the deck of the scooter will need to be removed again at some point in order to get to the battery and controllers especially if there is a problem with the scooter and it needs repairs.
So when you first get the scooter do you put the slime in the self healing tires before your first ride or do the self healing tires come prefilled with the slime?
Fred Assender hi, you do not need to remove the valve core to pump up the tyre. Simply attach the pump securely and pump in the air. Removal of the core is only needed put in the slime.
I've purchased slime but it's for inner tubes. Do the p1 2.0 have inner tubes or are they tubeles. I've just purchased red label slime which is for inner tubes. I didn't know whether the p1 2.0 has tubes

I pulled the back wheel off, coated with a little contact cleaner and plugged it back in. I wrapped the connection with electrical tape, no issues!

The slime doesn’t fix existing punctures. It prevents them from happening. Local Halfords I doubt would fix it - best emailing the team to get it booked in hello@solarscooters.co.uk
Slime can work on existing punctures depending on the size of the puncture (I’ve used it on an e bike puncture and it worked as it should). It can actually work for up to two years on an existing puncture. Also, after you’ve put the slime into the tyre, you shouldn’t use the motor to spin the wheel as centrifugal force will keep the slime in the same spot and not distribute it evenly around the tyre. Best way is to spin the tyre by hand for a minute or two and then go for a ride for a couple of minutes. This distributes the slime far better.
