Welcome in the world of this magical singer, Angelina is sure my preferred singer, she is a kind of daydream that has been going on for 10 years now and continues to excite me. Now she is a girl of 18 old years and, if is possible, is even more amazing, this girl has an absolutely unique talent and taste and she is not afraid of anything, there are no impossible songs for her, she will find a way to transform them with her extraordinary musical intelligence. Angelina is pure musical poetry. I love this version of the song, which was her explicit gift to fans during her online concert for Christmas 2021. For me it's an interpretation, even more moving than the original one by Lauren Daigle who won a Grammy with this song and she is a fantastic singer-songwriter of Christian music.💛🧡❤

If you put together the Grams they won, they exceed 20. Quincy Jones wanted her at only 12 years old to open his concert for his 85th birthday, stating that she is the only one on the same level as a young Michael Jackson. Etc., etc...
Angelina's fans are mostly older people who have seen the greatest singers of the last 60 years, they are not kids who follow the fashion of the moment.

Lucy a wonderful singer for sure, Angelina is a world class vocalist now, has been since 7-8 years old when she won Norway Got Talent show against adults.. She has performed around the world since she was 8, has performed at 2 Nobel Peace prize events, has performed for several Charity events over the years and just had her first Vegas show this year at 18. She is working with multi Grammy winning song writers at the moment, is signed with UMG/Republic records since 14 and will certainly blow up the music industry in short order. Lucy has her fans, but Angelina has an immense following for the past 10 years...she is a music genius and prodigy since she was a toddler...started singing at age 18 months. We millions of "Angels" are "superfans" as you shall soon find out. The downfall of many reactors is trying to "compare" Angelina with others....does not work well. Thanks for reaction.

Her grandmother was her greatest influence, but Angelina chose her own path. Her first studio performance was at age 7, singing I Who Have Nothing. Why does Angelina sing barefoot? The answer may bring a tear to your eye. It is related to a promise she made to herself and to the world when she was only 6 years old. She was traveling in the Middle East with her mom and grandmother and they came across a young orphan girl with no shoes and scarred feet. Angelina gave the girl her own favorite shoes. Angelina ask the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and she said a doctor, but she could not because she had to take care of her siblings. She asked Angelina the same question and Angelina said I want to sing for the world. The young girl said she would pray for Angelina. Since then, Angelia has forever performed barefoot as a reminder of all those less fortunate. At age 9 she wrote a book about this experience, Between two Hearts, becoming the youngest ever published author in Norway. She also has helped raise millions for children's charities. She even stated at 8 years old that she would be donating her winnings from Norway's Got Talent to charities. At age 6, while traveling in the Middle East with her mother and grandmother, Angelina noticed a girl around her age standing on the side of the road, asking people to step on her bathroom scale to be weighed in hopes of getting some money. Angelina took off her shoes so as to not get the scale dirty and stepped on the scale many times to make the girl feel better. Angelina befriends the girl who was not wearing shoes and has scars on her feet, and learns she is an orphan. The orphan girl tells Angelina how beautiful she thinks her shoes are. Angelina says her shoes don’t fit her well and she wants to give her shoes to the orphan girl who thanks Angelina for giving her the shoes.
Angelina asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and the girl replied, “I want to become a doctor, but that will never happen since I have no parents and I have siblings so I have to do whatever is necessary for us to survive.” Angelina told the girl to never give up on her dreams. The poor girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina replied that she wanted to sing for the whole world. The poor girl said she would pray every day so Angelina’s dream would come true. Angelina never learned the orphan's name but called her Princess. The orphan girl replied, "princesses live in castles, we live in ruins". Angelina titled her song about this story, "Princess of Ruins".
Angelina still says she thinks of that homeless girl every day and has always performed barefoot to remind her of all the children who are less fortunate. At age 9, she became the youngest published author in Norway’s history by writing a book about this encounter in the Middle East. Good heavens, no...she's singing the same song, so there is an essence of similar...but the voices are never the same...never.
There are moments where she sounds like Lauren. Just little notes here or there, and some of the whine and cry in her voice as she is singing. I liked her in this song, thought she did well.

@@OlArmySarge One of the superfans did a mashup of Lauren Daigle and Angelina's performance. If there had not been a clear indicator showing who was singing when, it would have been very difficult at times to distinguish between them. I prefer Lauren's version for the clarity of diction but, for emotional content I found Angelina's melismas and other treatments more impactful. Just my opinion.

No I am not in denial nor am I a superfan such as yourself after hearing two songs, one of which I did not like. You and your channels and fan club should start talking to the Lucy Thomas people, they are as rabid as your bunch, and claim that Lucy is the best in the world. Problem is, you are both wrong.

I simply played 2 of her songs that were requested by donation. I am sure I will do other songs of hers, but How Great Thou Art, was not a good performance, they had her singing way to low, no key changes, just bland, I will get around to her when I finish up a couple other rabbit holes I am in now

Both their efforts at "You Say" appear to me to lean just a wee bit heavily on Adele's style . . .That said, all three are terrific singers imv, though I prefer the vocal talents of Imelda May, Kelly Clarkson and Kristina Train from this era (well almost), and Joni Mitchell, Whitney Houston, Gladys Knight, Judith Durham, Barbra Streisand, and Roberta Flack etc from slightly earlier times . . There are and have been many great female singers out there, and picking one of them as better than all the rest as per the original comment really just comes down to personal taste/preference . .
