Why the suspenders Larry? Also, you used to smoke. Do you workout at the gym ? I ask because you must have something right. You're possibly 200 years old and I'm 34. I'm struggling, you're not.
Barry. Without a doubt. The emotional intelligence he's bringing to this character is absolutely beautiful to watch, and the amount of expression in his face and his body when he doesn't say a single word is just mind blowing. I'm a writer and an editor, and I can tell you I go back and watch scenes from this show just to be inspired and moved by him and his character. And I also watch full episodes with my Telegram open on my phone and I literally take directorial notes from it. Watching it is a full, 3 dimensional, multitasking experience, and you really don't get that so often.
I am convinced ... maybe... that I was an AOL buddy with Bill in the mid 90s. This guy. whether he was Bill or not, made me crack up with his impersonations. I laughed so hard I cried every time I talked to him. He had two little sisters whom he adored... his mom was a teacher and dad was a comedian/truck driver. He did a great Alan Alda. We had a lot of fun. I'd love to connect with this person again, whether it is Bill or not.
@movingonandup773 I don't recall quite what he said his issue with singing was, could be his pitch perception, at least where relating to musical scales is concerned. I agree though, he's great, he's sharp and clever and funny. I could listen to him all day long!
Exactly! That’s why I love acting so much. When I’m not myself I can be confident or anything because people are expecting the character to NOT be me, but the minute I’m myself again, I’m the biggest and most nervous wreck you’ve ever seen.
Favorite cast member from snl ever. I think a part of what makes him so funny is that his regular talking voice is so nasal-y but then he switches to a completely other voice in his impressions/characters and it's such a contrast
Bill Hader is a fantastic human being, humble, down to earth and proud, one gets the sense that he can be the next-door neighbor we wish we could have.
This interview is amazing ! Bill is not the same goofy guy from the other interviews, you can see how much respect he has for Larry in how he answers his questions. I don't know how to explain it, but it's really adorable and wholesome.
i love how much love and passion he has in his voice when he talks about why snl is the best entry level job. you can tell that even though he will filled with worry, anxiety, and fear for every episode for eight years...he really enjoyed and grew from being on SNL. 💛
I just rewatched "Skeleton Twins" for the millionth time and every time I remember how beautiful the film is. Probably one of my favourite films and performances of Bills! ❤️
He name dropped Peter Serafinowicz!!!!! Heck yesssss! Peter was, for awhile, the only one we saw doing Alan Alda impressions. Perfectly, and out of left field. Soooooo glad Bill reps Alan and Peter here.
I love everything Bill has done from SNL to his movies and TV shows. I absolutely loved his amazing performance in The skeleton twins, Trainwreck and Barry. I also love this interview ❤
The best Alan Alda...wow. I love his back to the future audition as him..so funny.😂 I would LOVE to hang out with him and Fred Armisen.. They have such amazing chemistry.. Two of my faves!🌝
Every time he talks about his wife, he looks down and his body language changes. I'm not surprised they got divorced. He was obviously holding a lot of information inside.
@@MrsOdie2 I noticed the same thing and then thought "none of my business, private life, etc", I'm not really interested in that but then... He's saying how awkward it was to be directed by his wife during sex scenes with Rachel Bilson... who turns out to be his current girlfriend...
Bill Hader is so kind and he’s such a great actor, to laugh at Larry king even though Larry is it funny. Rest in peace Larry, but every time you interview comics I just feel for you because I know you’re really trying.
Bill Hader is great I'd like to see him in movies again possibly in television shows anything. I'm sure even Comedy Central might have a show for him because laughter helps the medicine go down. this now social distancing is upsetting to me. I will never be offended by any jokes that Bill makes of anything.
As a Tulsa boy myself (eventually escaped Dallas and am a true Austinite now), well, now I know why I have always said that 'fashion' is what I happen to be wearing at the moment. I don't care.
should probably do a movie about stefon, listening to all this weird stuff this character says, i always wonder how in the hell life must be to be such a person
If they can make different films based off of SNL skits, then they can do a Stefon sitcom. At least run it for a season or two just to see how it goes.
Hader, you blew it. When King asked you "What was it like to be directed by your wife?" , your response should have been "It was just like at home!" I can write for you. Call me.
It’s a shame Bill and his wife’s marriage didn’t work out. He seemed to really appreciate her (and likely still does). It’s kind of weird that he’s with Rachel Bilson now. Ha ha.
When a guy gets to his level of fame, his eyes begin to open about the options he has in front of him with women. He probably saw he could date women like Rachel Bilson and Anna Kendrick and decided to upgrade. It’s really harsh but that appears to be how it usually goes in Hollywood.

Hi @larry king in a scale of 1 to 10 how would you rate how much you enjoyed your interview with BH?

Barry! and just Bill being Bill telling funny stories.
the amount of bass Hader can get in his voice is amazing
@movingonandup773 I heard Bill say in an interview recently that he can't sing.
@movingonandup773 I don't recall quite what he said his issue with singing was, could be his pitch perception, at least where relating to musical scales is concerned. I agree though, he's great, he's sharp and clever and funny. I could listen to him all day long!
Bill hader is so SO underrated. One of the best ever on snl
I don't think so anymore. Especially after the success of Barry. But yes, hes the man.
Andys Videos/Bungle Boy Videos he could be president and i’d still consider him underrated- everyone needs to know him more
His laughter is always fabulous!
He is as great as the late Phil Hartman .. he was the "GO TO" guy..he could do anything, and did it great!
He’s not underrated! Do you actually know what that means .
The way he accepts compliments is so cute omg
Man, I wish I could be that funny and charming while having anxiety. The only thing that ever comes across from me is just the anxiety.
Me too. Ugh.
Manubibi Walsh practice makes perfect.
same tbh, i think most people with anxiety feel that way
when I watch him it sparks a hope in me like "oh i can make it and have anxiety!" but then i realize i'm not bill hader
Exactly! That’s why I love acting so much. When I’m not myself I can be confident or anything because people are expecting the character to NOT be me, but the minute I’m myself again, I’m the biggest and most nervous wreck you’ve ever seen.

"Best Ever" SNL is a big comment....but, ya know what....I agree. For my money the most talented SNLer ever.
"Bill Hader can do so many voices, why does he choose to talk in that one?"
Would give all my money for a navigation app with bill haders voice
“No - LEFT! Moron!” 10/10 would purchase.
and you can choose - stefon, herb welch, devon from the californians, al pacino, etc!
syemurn c Hahaha - Yes! And Stefon would constantly redirect you to the hottest club in New York. LOL
New York's hottest bar is... recalculating... 🤣
syemurn c it would have to include Bob Simon. At start-up it says, “Where am I going? The Whitehouse? The Cap-i-tol perhaps?”
Stefon coming out to his parents is brilliant haha "You just haven't met the right girl yet!"
When Bill turned his head to look at the camera at 21:11 I died. 😂😍😭
Also, his laugh is just so adorable and contagious. I freaking love his laugh.
As soon as I started reading your comment he did it. That was weird...

if I could be personal friends with any famous person it would be bill hader. the amount of happiness he brings me is unbelievable

Ugh what a pure smile! So amazing
“If you haven’t seen bill in a TM mobile you have passed away”
Bill Hader is literally my favorite person ever.
For me, it’s Molly Shannon. 😂
Your friends and family will literally be devastated when they read this.
I think Larry made Bill laugh more than Bill made him laugh. This was such a fun interview for both of them.
10:50 Al Pacino
12:02 Alan Alda
25:45 Daniel Plainview (There will be Blood)
God bless you
I knew I'd find a hero scrolling down. Thank you!
Great interview ... Don't think I've seen Larry laugh this much since he's been doing this show ... Hilarious
Then you should check out the ones he did with Don Rickles.. But this also was hilarious, I agree..
And Larry was quite capable of making Bill laugh too (especially at 7:50): great conversation.
Or check out the one with Craig Ferguson.
check rickles
Mr Hader is not only talented, he also is a down to earth person, who understands the meaning of hardwork and is a gentleman. God bless him
My God I love that he has food stains on his shirt...it's nice to sit and listen to a human being for a change.

Never have I ever seen Larry laugh so much in an interview and seems like he had a blast haha it's awesome Bill is fantastic!
Bill Hader is amazingly talented, cool and humble....I'm glad I looked into his work..
Wow...this guy should never be out of work..😆😆😆😆😆
Bill Hader NOT impressed with Ryan Seacrest buying Larrys jeans! I LOVE it! Bill is so humble and down to earth!
I love that he's with Larry King and his shirt has food stains wow Bill I love you
I really miss Larry! Rip. Best interview with bill I have ever seen! Revealing, funny and honest. Miss him on SNL! Good luck in movies😀
I would love Bill Hader guiding me though traffic
I love Bill, such a talented, funny guy. Him, Kristen and Fred, woo. Great interview.
The Vietnam Vet puppet and puppeteer is my favorite. Bill makes it his own!
Tony the puppet is The Man!
That was his Emmys submission. :)
I love that Larry loves Stefan & Snl!
Bill hader is the love of my life
This man looks so huggable
He name dropped Peter Serafinowicz!!!!! Heck yesssss!

Bill and I both love Keith Morrison 🙌🏻🙌🏻❤️❤️
The best Alan Alda...wow. I love his back to the future audition as him..so funny.😂
I would LOVE to hang out with him and Fred Armisen.. They have such amazing chemistry.. Two of my faves!🌝
He's brilliantly funny on every level!
I just love him. His laugh!!
You can tell Larry loves Stefon. Larry is all of us xD
His modesty is adorable!!
Every time he talks about his wife, he looks down and his body language changes. I'm not surprised they got divorced. He was obviously holding a lot of information inside.
Why did they get a divorce?

@ Clémence C Yes was thinking it's funny the way he was talking about Rachel like she's so far above him, but now they are together!
@@emikiwi apparently they broke up
Stefon sitcom?!! Now please.
I would watch a whole season of LKN where Bill Hader is the guest in each episode.
wait there's *another* movie with James Mcavoy, Jessica Chastain and Bill Hader??
@@DjinnRummy so? Its still a funny coincidence that they had already done a movie together and not everyone knows every movie
Wait another- when were they before-
"Did anyone think.. the gays would be offended"
... Larry King, walking that very same thin line of satire lmao
his Alan Alda is spooky good
Although at times do you think it veers somehow into Howard Stern? Or do Alan Alda and Howard Stern sound a little similar and I just never noticed...
very secure guy...uber talented and humble...easy to be around...WIN good for Bill
His laugh is so contagious and admireable. Hader always impresses me.
When he is on Jimmy Kimmel doing Dateline impressions. Hilarious!
I like to see bill do his impression of al Pacino it’s quite good.
Larry King is the most entertaining interrogator ever.
The fact that he actually dated Rachel Bilson after he got a divorce lmao
LK: Does that impress you
Bill: NO
Lol the way he said that
Larry really can be funny sometimes. lol
bills laugh is the greatest thing ever
Great stuff Larry! Love bill and you, you guys get along incredibly! Watching from manhattan
This guy is incredible.👍
I bet he would do an amazing Larry king.
Bill is so good at what he do such a funny dude , cracks me up everytime
Cool video. Bill sounds awesome. Thank you for this interview. Have a great day. Peace.

Fabulous interview. Thanks
I watched Eleanor Rigby two or three years ago and I have NO recollection of Bill Hader in that movie. Now I have to watch it again.
Anyone else freaking out that he talks about his wife directing him in a sex scene with Rachel Bilson and they're TOGETHER NOW?!
Bill Hader is great I'd like to see him in movies again possibly in television shows anything.

This was a fun interview.
Left Left!! Where are you going? Left! lol
and now finally he got the recognition for being the man of style and true fashionista that he is #instyleawards2019
I know - HAAA!!!!
Good for Megan Mullally for "discovering" Bill Hader -- he's brilliant.
I still his T-Mobile commercial "I'm gonna hunt you down ALL CAPS" 😂
Rip Larry King

I'd like to have a very tulsa moment with Bill
I wish I was Jennifer Dennis
I live in Tulsa and everyone does talk like he says 😂
Al Pachino voice always a riot veru funny and think Hader should have his own comedy show.
Besides Stefon, I love that old & bitter reporter Herb Walsh.

his pacino is seriously uncanny
