    Great video! I'm planning to do this on my e60, but I'm missing an information that's sadly not mentioned in this video. My car is from 5/2006 so it has lm1 but I don't have the ahl(i have bixenon), if I change it to lm2 with ahl and buy ahl headlights, will the ahl function work?

    Nicely done. My brother has been telling me about your channel for a while. He is the original owner and he loves his 535i (6spd manual) even more because of you. He plans to keep it forever. Dealer serviced for the big jobs but “normal” maintenance done by me.
    He has an ‘08 535i that already has those lights. He wants LED bulbs for his angel eyes. Any recommendations, for he seems to only trust you and I don’t want to mess anything up.

    Hi Dean could you send a link for the Angel Eye white LEDs and do they have any bulb faults?? Also do you know one that doesn’t throw bulb faults for the number plate lights I mean the white light types? I have been looking for so long but can’t seem to find the right ones.. 😄

    Do you know mate what causes the e93 lci headlights to fog up inside? Bmw refused warranty claims on these back in 2010s saying its normal due to diaphragm in headlight to outside temp

    I have non-lci bi-xenon headlights in my vehicle. lm You have 2 moral modules and there is a separate moral module. but there is no connection cable for the separate ahl module in my vehicle. If I install the lm2 ahl module alone, will the adaftive headlights work?

      check the sensor wires that connect to your front wheels, they come from the car along with the tire pressure ones for wheel direction, that's what directs you lights. bit late...Hope it helps.

      @@iamromierome I have those lights on my pre Lci and still prefer the look of LCI headlights more. Especially since with the headlights I have(the ones in the link you posted) you don’t have the function of running the halos at the same time as the driving lights. It’s either or. Also IMO the original headlight on the e60 is what gives the car it’s touch 🤌🏼

    • @BMWDoctor
      @BMWDoctor  3 года назад +3

      Long nose pliers are FINE to use on this and I have had NO ISSUES with the wires or the grommets they are fully secure in the plug and not budging one bit as I’m OCD on that case I wouldn’t even feel safe going over a speed bump unless they was secure.
      I used long nose pliers and it worked a treat

    I think pre LCI owners should stick to the ugliness of it and embrace it. After all you went the cheap route, at least the door cards, panels and switches still give it away that they have the cheap variant.
