On TV I watched nearly all his games played. I lived in Texas and we got Dallas every week. Charlie was an all around athlete. Love to watch him and cliff Harris. And of course Bob Lilly.
Amazed he isn't. Should also be in the HOF with Cliff. How many players could say the were in either the Super Bowl, NFC Championship, or both in 8 different seasons. Not many.
I wore 41 playing free-safety in high school. Charlie, you were my favorite player on my favorite team. Thank you for that inspiring effort you gave each n every week.
I tell you what, when I was a kid, my brothers and I would play football in Grand Prairie, TX (I have 4 Brothers which we were big Cowboys Fans) and being the oldest, I would say I'm Charlie Waters, and a ruckus would ensue, cuz they wanted to be Charlie Waters too, like I said, I'm the oldest, so therefore the ruckus was over. THE END. Thank You Sir.
Should also be in HOF as he was the ''brains'' of the secondary,............was always around the football or ball carrier. At 193 lbs he was small in his day.
My Cowboys he should have been in the Hall of fame , his cousin lived in Alexander City Alabama Tammy Waters he and Cliff was some hitters great athletes bad to the bone..
Charlie Waters played with great defense Back field. Team mates Mel. Renfro.,Cliff Harris,. And Cornell Green. Mel and Ciiff in HOF. Other two are waiting for call from the HOF
I think he was. He sent a personal letter to a complete stranger, a 10th grader I know in NJ, after they won their first Super Bowl. He was a great man

Should be in the hall of fame 🏈🏆🎖️🏅
Cowboys fans loves Charlie waters forever !!!!!!!!

My favorite player of all time. He deserves to be in the hall of fame
Charlie played great in big games. He and Cliff should have been in Canton 20 yrs ago.
Deserves to be in the Ring of Honor. I am offended that Jones does not see this.

Charlie and D.D. Lewis used to play on the same softball team in the 70's at Fair oaks field . I was the scorekeeper .

I was lucky to see live, Charlie play in 1971 - he gave 100% on EVERY play. #41
Damn I miss those '70s Cowboys!
My favorite safety...ever.

agree totally , they need to correct this
But he won’t be. WAY too many Cowboys from the ‘60s - ‘80s should be in and won’t because of the bias AGAINST the Cowboys by the sports media.
Gotta love Mr. Charlie waters
How on earth is Charlie not in the NFL hall of fame???
My Cowboys he should have been in the Hall of fame , his cousin lived in Alexander City Alabama Tammy Waters he and Cliff was some hitters great athletes bad to the bone..
The Texas Sports Hall of Fame in Waco, Texas is the beneficiary of having a class act like Charlie Waters in the HOF
Hall of fame
Give Charlie his bronze bust because he belongs in Canton with all the other hofs period
Has better numbers than Cliff Harris, not saying Harris isn't worthy, but Waters deserves to be in the HOF today.
Should be in Canton
Landry was not a people person.

Should be un the HOF
landry placing waters at cornerback for a stint lessened his chances for enshrinement into the hall of fame.
