Some could possibly interpret what UG did as cowardly. He gave up on his wife and children. On society. On himself. And it could be seen in a certain light that even he was leeching off the whole "Enlightenment business", since he travelled the world staying in the homes of those who sought him out for such matters. But I'm very glad we have him. He has helped me a lot to see the matrix for what it is. That won't save me, but it might save my sanity a little. Life is a paradox we can never solve. And UG was far more honest about the whole thing than probably anyone I've ever heard before him
He was a true Yogi like those Shaivites of Kashmir (lineage of Abhinavagupta) that have practically gone extinct. There was nothing but absolute divinity in UG although he himself would've never admitted that and probably say something about killing and eating you if he had to do it to survive but those words only confirm his divinity to those who understand it.
The Shaiva word for Matrix, sharing the same root of Mater meaning Mother is Matrika (mātṝkā). Matrix specifically means bearing mother, and thus it is synonymous to the Shaivite term mātṝkā which is the mother that births the universe. This universe however is this thought sphere UG talks about which is the collection of all letters and sounds that we use to represent to ourselves and others a so called universe. For those who don't understand mātṝkā she deludes them and those who understand her she sets free and this is exactly UG's position as well; he says if we think questions are meaningful we become trapped, meaning only exists in the relative plain of gaining the power of action. What power will you get from asking me anything and what do you want to do with that power is constantly what UG asks his 'followers' when you realize this is the nature of questions you have realized who/what mātṝkā is and then she reveals her liberating nature.
I am telling you this because the Matrix is perfectly knowable and when you know her you'll stop believing life is a paradox we can never solve. You are life but you simply cannot know yourself just like the eye can't see yourself unless you have a mirror and the illusory creation of the "other" is that mirror (you have only ever yourself and you alone to experience). Again I say UG was a true yogi. Also the Matrix isn't evil per se, the way she deludes people is extremely terrible but her power itself is simply the appearance of "things" and the universe, without things and the universe there isn't negativity/pain or positivity/pleasure, she is the power by which you experience at all. You have to enter into the Matrix to use thought and read this message for instance but she has no power over you if you know her properly like UG did. He actually tell his wife that since she is educationally qualified she could get a job and the law does allow a woman to choose a life of her own when the husband is unwilling to live with her. He gave her that freedom because she was not short of money or education. In that sense he never deserted her but showed her a way out with insight. He hasn't been wrong over there. Divorce or separation is not wrong but the way one does it decides whether it was right or wrong or evil or immoral. His wife was not realising the woman power.

U.G. has always emphasised, repeating it over and over again that there is no such thing as enlightenment at all!! He is until today the only one who really sees everything as it is.

Sounds like he is talking about our addictions. Addictions that make us feel good, but cause anxiety as we search for them. He gave them all up. Or at least attempted to at all times. I don't lift him up as anything more special than anyone else. And that's the way he would have wanted it.

"There is such thing as the unknown." But that is what man thinks all the time right? that he knows. Of course man operates only inside the parameters of the known. He cannot talk, see, do and act as unknown.
Ureka! Knowledge is what I'm using to free myself. However that same knowledge is what imprisoned me "no way out" plus I'm not letting go of "my" knowledge.. the reason I "personal development" Is because I can't fit in into the structure around me, so I hope that If some how I can solve "my problems" I can fit in. Tje question itself is born out of the answer otherwise there is no place for any question you already have . It is idiotic to even ask a question for youbalready have na answer the question implies that there is something about "i" you do not know or you want to know something other than the i that is already there means another i .all questions are born out of answer you already have . This is the reason why weather a question of that kind its posed by you or somebody doesn't want an answer because the answer for any question is the end of the question the end of the question mean the end of the answer that you have and all accumulated answers that you had so they all disappear so the demand of an answer on any level implies that the questioner doesn't want the knowledge to come to an end
